Brown County Inn

Stayed here 15-20 years ago for a couple of anniversary weekends and it was good then. Last year I stayed for a girls overnight with a friend and it was even better, lol. The rooms have been updated but the place still has the rustic charm that I like about it in the first place. Rooms are clean, the front desk and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good, not huge but standard breakfast fare. It's tasty and plenty available. A very relaxing stay, the pol is great too. We'll definitely be staying agIn this year for our girls weekend trip!

Highly recommend, you can go to the pool, lounge or restaurant without going outside...two EV chargers on site. Rooms are clean and comfortable.many activities onsite too. The restaurant has a $15 breakfast buffet that is outstanding too....one of my favorite places to stay...when they aren't booked full.

Great location. Sparkling clean rooms. The staff was friendly. The walls are thin so we could hear our neighbors next door and upstairs talking and walking. I loved the shuttle to the music center. Very close to the main strip in Nashville. CVS right across the street. Definitely going back but might try an upstairs room so as not to hear people walking at 4am for what seemed like hours.

My friend and I had a girls' weekend in Brown County. Location of the inn is great, walking distance from shops yet far enough away to have privacy. We really enjoyed the year-round pool and having a bar and restaurant inside of the inn made it super convenient to have fun without having to go out!

We stayed here during the 2023 Labor Day weekend. Our room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, and the location was perfect: we did not have to drive at all to go to all the shops and attractions. Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The restaurant was great, with good food and good waiters. We enjoyed a good game of put put golf and corn hole, and the pool was very nice. I don't have to think twice to recommend it! Also, we loved the short trail behind the hotel, a short cut to the main street and stores.

We were there for dinner only. The food was very good, as was the service. We noticed that there is plenty of room if anyone wants to have an event there like a wedding. The outdoor seating is very nice and we saw a large tent in the back. We sat at a window with lots of flowers outside.

Brown County Inn is one of our favorite places to stay! The staff is kind and helpful. The location is PERFECT for all Nashville activities. There are many places to chill out on the grounds. The plants throughout the grounds are gorgeous! The pool is always nice! Our favorite is sitting on the deck behind the bar. We can stay there for hours and just have a blast. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well taken care of. Rarely do I see normal wear and tear on anything there. The Brown County Inn is perfect for any occasion and anyone!

Easy access, via Salt Creek Trail, to Nashville's shops and restaurants as well as Brown County Music Center. Spacious and comfortable rooms, each with a balcony or patio. Lots of activities, including indoor/covered pool.

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! They saved us twice now on a trip to visit our son at Indiana University. Our last stay was this past weekend. After having a flight canceled from New Jersey we drove 13 hours overnight straight through to Indiana and arrived here around 8:30 AM. We had a reservation that night and check in is typically in the afternoon. Missy at the front desk was absolutely fabulous!!! When she saw how exhausted I was she managed to get us into our room early. She’s an absolute angel! I cannot say enough nice things about her! Great quiet, family place with clean rooms and excellent customer service! I would highly recommend to anybody!!

What a great little place. Very clean and updated. Nice restaurant. Next door to the music center.

We live in Brown County and Brown County Inn is our go to restaurant! In the recent snow event yesterday, our daughter from Bloomington was in the worst of it. 46 got shut down for a while. Our road was impassable. She just turned around and went to Brown county Inn because she couldn’t make it and she got a wonderful meal! We encouraged her to stay there and I just have to say they went above and beyond letting her stay until the road to Bloomington was opened! 💕. Thank you all at wonderful Brown County Inn!!

I loved stopping at the Brown County Inn while on our way to TN. The food is FABULOUS as was Betsy our server! I really appreciated her suggestions and our dinner was EXCELLENT!! We started with the pimento cheese board, my son had the Bacon Bleu Burger, cooked perfectly, and Betsy suggested the Squash Curry with Pulled Chicken. The curry has a kick but not to much and was absolutely delicious however for any no heat appetites I am sure the chef can turn it down. Will mark this a favorite! We were able to sit outside with our little dog!

Overall this is a nice place to stay in Nashville. The rooms are a little dated, but the walking proximity to the shops is great. The on-site Harvest Room restaurant is very good.

We found this hotel when we were searching for somewhere half way to back to home, and somewhere near walking trails.... And I must say I wish we could have spent more then one night here!! So cute and charming!!! They have a restaurant, mini golf, volley ball, pool, and I'm sure other activities too. Everyone was super friendly, our room had a walk out sitting area. We hope to be able to come back sometime and stay longer. Thank you!!

Best burgers in Nashville! The Corn Crib lounge is wonderful, especially in the winter when they have a wood burning fire going all day. Atmosphere is 100% Nashville, IN and the bartenders and services are super friendly and fun to chat with. Maple Old Fashion is what to order, along with a side of their shrimp and grits! Live music is delightful during the week and great place to go to hang out with the locals.

This was our first family trip to Brown County and let me tell you-we are so thrilled with our stay here. Our room was so cozy and clean, with a nice balcony. Front desk staff was so welcoming and very helpful. The pool is huge and heated. They have a playground, a beautiful outdoor garden, mini golf, and other amenities making it perfect for the kiddos. The restaurant at the hotel has some really amazing food as well. The best part is there is a trail behind the Inn that leads you right into town where all of the shops and restaurants are. We will be back again, if not many times!

We loved our stay here! It is located very close to shopping and food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty standard. A fridge in every room would be appreciated along with a bigger and smart TV. There is plenty to do at the Inn and is a great place to stay with kids. Great pool with nice tables. We ordered carryout for dinner and ate by the pool. Great food and drinks! They have a nice variety of food and drinks for dinner and breakfast. It was our favorite place to eat while in Brown County! Along with a great pool they have a mini golf course, shuffle board, tether ball, and a hiking trail. Perfect place to stay for families! I highly recommend this hotel.

Came for an event and sat at the bar for a while. Service was great and gentleman working behind the counter was very friendly and entertaining!
