Surf Taco - Point Pleasant Beach

Had two great meals this week. So far. Blackened shrimp taco and today the Maverick burrito. Delicious.

Always love hitting surf taco when we are in Point Pleasant. Updated interior looked great. Our order taker maybe was having an off day and a little rude. Other staff were very friendly and our tacos/burrito were delicious as always!

Always like to try new spots when we are in town. Will definitely go back here again! Great food. We ordered online and just picked it up and brought it back to the house . Very easy process. Thanks!

Ordered for pickup, was ready extremely quickly and the tacos were all delicious. My daughter loved the steak and mahi tacos, everything tastes so fresh

I've been coming here for 15 years. About 10 years ago I moved to another state, but any time we are in the area visiting family, we always make sure to come to this Surf Taco. The food is always super fresh and the young staff is very friendly. They're open all year it seems and it was so nice to have a taste of home when I visited in early October again.

Good lunch place near beach. Try their aguas frescas in variety - Tamarind, Passion fruit and Pineapple.

Unknown to beach goers, just a few lanes across the best place to eat healthy Mexican fusion... enjoyed it.

We make it a point to stop by the original Surf Taco every time we're in the area. The tacos and sauces are top notch, but I personally find the salsas to be a little bland. Not enough of a ding to lose a star, though. Very delicious.

Great food, wish they brought back the ability to add paid add ons to your order via app. Now you can only customize items that are included on the menu item you order.

Surf Taco is my favorite non-authentic Mexican restaurant, period. I highly recommend the fresh salsa bar as any of their salsas pair amazingly with their chips. I usually order the grilled chicken taco with just meat and cheese and instead of removing all the other ingredients and giving me two tiny pieces of chicken on a taco, they stuff the taco with meat and cheese, which is unheard of. Any Surf Taco location serves amazing food but this is the original which makes it just a little more special.

However, the parking situation is atrocious and the restaurant interior is a little cramped during peak hours. Regardless, I recommend Surf Taco to anyone with a taste for fresh Tex-Mex cuisine.

This is some good eating in a unassuming building. We just randomly found this place on Google maps and I was amazed by how great it is. The ingredients are high quality.

The tacos were really good and the burritos too. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Me and my family have gone to various Surf Taco's (mainly PP and Manasquan) literally hundreds, maybe thousands of times. You cannot beat the quality of food for the price, plus it's a great place to go with little kids b/c its fast. What makes this place stand apart is the food is FRESH. No bagged chips and salsa. All the veggies/lettuce/pico are super fresh, and the salsa bar is GREAT - I love the Baja and Hot salsas in particular. All made fresh. I don't even like guacamole, but LOVE it here. The best I've ever had. The quality of the meat is good to. Where else can you bring your family of 4 for a good meal that doesn't leave you hungry for $29 total?

This location is by far the best one. The food is always spot on, but even more so in the off season. I come here at least once every time I'm down at the shore. The guac is my favorite around and the salsa bar is great!

Best Mexican food..plz do try..lot of options...Mango shrimp bowl was amazing..I vl try Taco next time

Everything was fresh and had delicious flavor. A good selection of tacos. I didn't get a smoothie but I plan on trying on my next visit. Quick, healthy lunch or snack.

Ugh. We love Surf Taco. We are always consistently pleased with the food! This location is a bit rough around the edges, but it's a part of the experience. Love the garlic shrimp burrito!
