Great spot right on the boardwalk in Point, paid parking right behind the restaurant or free street parking all over. Scan the QR code and prepare for a wait. Both indoor and outdoor seating as well as some counter space. Owner and staff are incredible friendly and we were sat pretty quick for a Sunday morning. Menu has all the staples and reasonable prices. The Mueller's Tiffany Raisin Bread is top notch (highly recommend). Eggs were perfectly over easy and the home fries were killer. Perfect with a nice cold Port Coffee Cold Brew. Will definitely be back to try more

Just what we needed. Don't let the name fool you, this is a fully functioning indoor/outdoor restaurant with a convenience walk up and a gift shop. Based on the name I was expecting to find a food truck in the parking lot of New Jersey Ave.

A pleasant spot on the boardwalk for breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was a model of hospitality and casual professionalism. The food was good, the portions were large, and the drink selection was a perfect mix of fresh and bottled. Although it's on the boardwalk, the view is mostly of dunes rather than the ocean itself. Obviously to no fault of the food shack.

Rain or shine this eatery will brighten your day. It is cozy and clean. The staff was amazing and the food was perfect and amazingly fast. They do breakfast and lunch. Check the hours on the google listing. We are excited to go back soon!

I’ve been coming to the Food Shack for years and the service has always been incredibly friendly, they make you feel like your family !The food is consistently delicious as well as the atmosphere is beachy and makes you feel like you’re at home! If you’re lucky enough to experience this place you’re in for a treat! Truly the best breakfast/lunch spot on the jersey shore!

My wife first came here with a friend for breakfast. She told me they had the best breakfast home fries she's ever had. She was right. We went together and had breakfast there. We had the Cali breakfast bowl. Consisting of home fries, poached eggs, crumbled bacon and fresh avocados.
The poached were a little overcooked but the dish was still excellent.
It's a small restaurant, and sometimes a short wait to be seated, but well worth it.
The boardwalk is right behind the restaurant and offers large windows and doors to enjoy the breeze coming off the ocean. There is seating both indoors and outdoors.
Prices are reasonable, service is fast and friendly. A great way and place to have a relaxful meal.

Oh those crabby fries ! Absolutely amazing ! We've been back several times, for both breakfast and lunch, the whole menu is delicious ! (Yes, we've just about tried it all) The perfect local place to grab a bite to eat on the beach.

Classic "brunch all day" spot at the end of the boardwalk. Open air location with a touch of weathered beach saltiness. Grab a table, sit at the counter, or get to go, a must stop for the classic Jersey shore experience. Do not forget the crumb cake! Absolutely the best!

Very friendly employees. Such a cute atmosphere on the boardwalk!!! Breakfast sandwich couldn’t have been more perfect.

Amazing food. Get the corned beef hash it's heaven in a bowl. Shelby our waitress was absolutely outstanding! Will eat here every time I'm in town. Holy God yum

This morning I had a veggie omelette and avo toast, and everything was delicious!!! Service is quick, everyone is kind, and the coffee is to die for. Best breakfast in Point! Can’t beat it.

Always a great experience at The Food Shack! And what can be better than having breakfast listening to the ocean waves crashing right next to you! Our girls (2 & 3) love it because of the relaxed atmosphere. They can be themselves and okay and not feel out of place!

We always have enjoyed our experience at the Food Shack. We were there the other day and just wanted to give a shout out! The staff is always welcoming and attentive.

( Beach House Classic is my favorite) as is the lunch menu with the classic favorites to the specialty items. Looking forward to coming back up soon to sit outside with a delicious cup of coffee, yummy food and enjoy the good vibes.

My family and I love this place! The food is so good and the atmosphere is awesome. The staff is so friendly. For the locals/summer beach goers, they also have lockers on site to store your chairs/umbrellas, and it’s so convenient. This family owed business is a bright spot on a corporate owned boardwalk, and I will continue to support them!!

This is the place if you want to have a healthy breakfast. Lobster omelette and home fries made my day. Soooo yummy and nourishing!

Food, service and atmosphere top notch! Delicious breakfast Cali Bowl. I even bought a really cute beach decor piece for my house. Love that they promote local artists and you can tell the hostess (she may be an owner) knows her local clients the way she speaks to them. Having worked in restaurants, you can always spot a well run establishment. Kid-friendly as well... Great find, you won't be disappointed.

The BLT was the best I've ever had-- seriously. The thick-cut bacon was outrageously good, obviously the expensive stuff. And the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and not bland. 10/10 sandwich. Love the location at the end of the boardwalk. Sit on the boardwalk or inside in the shade. There are benches and rocking chairs on the boardwalk. Fast service, super friendly staff. Awesome.

The lobster omelette is fantastic!!! The corn beef hash was delicious. The pancakes and French toast were great as well. The staff are friendly and tentative. Your sitting right by the beach. Awesome dining experience. A must go to if u r in town.

Fantastic, fast service. Delicious food. We got our food less than 10 minutes after ordering. Wonderful atmosphere.
