Motel 6 Dale, IN

Room was as pictured. No carpet which means cleaner. When you tear up your carpet at home there is a TON of dirt that's worked its way down. Think of hotel carpet that still has all the dead skin cells on/in it. Go ahead and puke now.

ALWAYS read amenities before booking. It does NOT say breakfast included. Nor does it say coffee pot in room, hair dryers, shampoo, etc. Pack your own regardless of any hotel you use. Freebies aren't free the hotel includes it in your room rate. Hence Motel 6 has better rates, not all the extras.

I ALWAYS pulls the beds aparts first thing to look for bed bugs on the mattress in any hotels. Including the $500/night in Manhattan. NO bed bugs found. I think another reviewer posted a bad photo of a bug saying its a bed bug. They posted a bad photo because it wasn't even the shape of a bed bug. Know your bugs.

NO ants in the room (104). NO garbage seen anywhere. There was evidence some idiot put metal in the microwave.

We did discover the ice machine was out of order. Easy fix is fast food places, gas stations and stores sell bags of ice. There is a Wendy's close. We put our bottles of water in room freezer, worked great. Dennys is very close.

Our room, linens, shower, microwave and fridge were clean. The air conditioner doesn’t go below a certain temperature even though you can lower the thermostat. 84 degree day we were still comfortable and got cold in the night. We ran the fan all night. It was loud but it blocked out any potential noises, inside or outdoors. Plus my husband's cpap machine! We both slept great, so did our little dog. Firm mattress and 3-4" thick pillows. The only cigarette smoke ever smelled was when a smoker walked in who had been outside smoking.

I would recommend to housekeeping to take a broom to bathroom vents once in awhile to knock out dust collected. But don't let that stop anyone from staying here. Afterall, how many of you clean your bathroom vent at home?

37-42 tv stations. Location of hotel was expected since we looked it up on a map. We were off the highway but surrounded by farmer's fields. Reminded us of the movie "Field of Dreams" (baseball field surrounded by corn stalks). This is a safe area. Free of homeless people hanging out and no drug users.

We think the front desk lady is the manager/owner. She's very nice.
We would return if in the area again.

Check-in went fine real quiet nice and clean over tonight no problems whatsoever will stay there again if I'm out that way lady at the desk where is world sweet had emergency with my car had to leave early she had no problem refunded my money for tonight thank her for help and we really appreciated it

15 mins from holiday world. They let us check in early since we got rained out. I was a women with four kids and was very thankful to have somewhere to go.

My family enjoyed our stay. My son husbnd and sisters played in the cold pool! I love the hard wood floors. I do think they need some kind of mat in the bathroom. I felt bad for using their towels as rugs but the floor was really wet from the pool and 5 showers. We will stay here again!

We had a great experience at the Dale, IN Motel 6! It was convenient to Holiday World and affordable. The rooms were very clean and cozy and we slept great! The kids played in the pool upon arrival and we were checked in with ease. The cost was unbeatable! That was convenient and practical for our family! Thanks!

This is by far the best motel 6 I have ever seen, clean rooms, beds are clean & comfy, the Price is great if you're a Trucker. Truck parking for big rigs. Free coffee in the morning no breakfast, but there's a Denny's right next door. Much better than the super 8 in Jasper. No bugs here at all! Definitely will be back!

This location is right off the freeway. It's a great place to stop driving through between Lexington on St Louis. The hostess that greeted us was really nice. There is a Denny's or if you want some local options such as Mexican restaurant and a place called Jinx that is pretty good. The rooms itself seemed well kept. It was quiet and comfortable. I would consider staying in the future.

Very clean and welcoming staff. I forgot my keys in my room and they were quick to accommodate me by preparing two new keys. Staff was quick and efficient. SUPER comfy pillows! Thanks for a great first time experience Motel 6 Dale, IN!

it smelled like fabuloso and after washing my hands with the soap my hands felt like they stuck together. it's not the motels fault but I just thought it was really funny
overall it was nice. staff was cool and there's a Denny's close by

Large truck parking, nice staff clean rooms. No stores, you have to go into the town of Dale which is just a few miles up the road. At the exit there's a Denny's in a Wendy's. Was not many people checked in there. Very rural area lots of room outside to run your dog.

Room was very clean. When I asked about extra towels, I was given them with a smile. Employees were very friendly. My only "complaint "is that they didn't serve any kind of breakfast. Otherwise I would recommend this motel to any one.

Room was very clean, Flat screen TV, mini frig. and microwave were nice and worked great. Convenient location close to major highways but not so close you heard road noise. Staff members were at desk and friendly. Great price.

If your looking for a BUDGET friendly place to stay that is close to Holiday World, I would recommend this Motel 6. It may not have some of the amenities that some motels have like hair dryers, shampoo etc, but that is why it is so affordable. Holiday World isn't cheap. The room was clean as a pin, two queen beds, fridge, microwave, free WiFi. Christal worked the front desk an took care of anything we needed. she was so friendly, always greeted us with a smile.

One of the greatest motel 6 I have ever been to. The place was amazing, rooms were clean, the lady at the desk was super nice even let my dog stay there with me. All hardwood floors flat screen TV beds were very comfortable overall I don't have anything bad to say about this place.

This is a great motel the management is so friendly and even though I had been gone a year the woman at the front desk remembered me and my son and was happy to give us discount tickets also they

just renovated nice wood floors new paint sheet's and bed's not to mention new flat screen TV s when you plan on going to Holiday world this is the best place to stay . the only problem we had on the first night the WI-FI was working just fine but had quite a bit of lag and buffering whenever watching videos.the second night we where there the WI-FI stopped working and was completely off even though the routers where still visible

This Motel 6 has inside access to rooms. The lobby and halls smell lovely. A luggage cart is provided as is an elevator. The night clerk was very accompanying since our MyMotel6 reservations were not successfully transmitted. We had no issues with the room. The lights, television, and plumbing worked. We will book a room here in the future if we are in the area.

The only weird thing about this hotel was that we were on the third floor and had to go to the first floor for ice. There was just a black pipe sticking out of the ground where the ice machine should have been on the third floor, and on the second floor the ice machine was unplugged. The electrical outlet looked like it had caught fire previously, so we didn’t want to plug in the ice machine. There were no signs anywhere to direct us to the correct ice machine so we spent a good ten minutes figuring this out.

I loved my stay here. The owners/staff are amazingly friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was hot with great water pressure. Plenty of parking and a town 1 mile away with everything you'd ever need.

I stayed at room 101 (king size bed) and it was very well clean, clean sheets and pillowcases. No ants issue like on other reviews.
