Clifty Falls State Park North Gate

It's a great place to hike around. Many different trails for hikes are easy to moderate. It's a great place all year round.

We had a fantastic time spending the afternoon hiking several different trails here. The employees at the gate were friendly and welcoming and the trails were easy to follow at well marked. The grounds were kept clean and the bathrooms were far better than expected.

Very nice state park. Waterfalls everywhere and a super nice walkway built through the forest. The picnic shelter had a working fireplace, that was awesome!!

Several options to explore throughout the park. We opted for Trail 7, but then modified it to our liking. There are a few “rugged” areas on this trail and several flights of stairs, depending on your destination. Trails are well maintained with public restrooms available at the trailhead. Picnic tables and playground are available for gatherings.

Took my dog on his first "hiking" trip. I've hiked this whole park twice (and still don't have a 4 falls challenge sticker) but my pup on a 95° wasn't about to do all that. Thankfully, I could drive from parking lot to parking lot and make short out-and-back walks to some cool spots. Great first hike for Gunner! Also, not too many state parks have a great town to grab a bite afterwards. Make sure to consume a Shipley's Tavern burger while you're in town.

Clifty Falls is one of the most beautiful parks in the state. There are plenty of stops with picnic tables, as well as a large green grassy area close to the hwy 62 entrance with children's activity set and a covered picnic area. It is a perfect place to walk and enjoy the beauty of it while unwinding.

Great place to hike!

This is a beautiful state park with stunning waterfalls and a vast trail system. Many people will use this park to train for hikes in Colorado and other vigorous regions. They also have very easy trails for all skill levels. I love clifty park.

Beautiful park. It exceeded our expectations. We camped for a weekend. The nature center was way above average. The inn was beautiful and we had lunch there which was wonderful. The employees really stand out at this park and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Beautiful place to take your family to enjoy nature

Great place for a day away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of trails with water falls. Great place for fossils at the bottom of the hills, but you can't legally keep them.

This park is full of beauty and great views with miles of well maintained trails and nice roads its a very relaxing place to get lost!

One of the most beautiful parks in Indiana! If you want to experience the heart of the park, use the north entrance, and then trails 8 and 2.
