The New Pal Pub

The food is terrific. It’s a small, very busy, sports bar in a small town. However, the food is above par for this type of establishment quality wise. In terms of cost, it’s on the expensive side. A Cobb salad and tater tots were just under $27. The waitress served my food and never checked by again until she saw I was clearly done and waiting on the check. She was friendly.

Came to visit, while in town and was very pleased. Griffin made one of the better bloody marys we've had and we are pretty picky with them. We followed up with wings, hot Italian sub and cheese shots, served by Chloe. All our food came out pretty quickly, considering they had a FULL house and everything was piping hot and delicious. Portions were very generous and service was great! Also had the pleasure of talking with the new owners Penny and Mark and we could really tell, they are putting their heart and soul, into this place. It was like everyone that walked in the door, was an old friend. Very family friendly, relaxed vibe.

Talked to the manager SWEET lady....very accommodating...going forward there are going to be changes it sounds like. Food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT best fish tacos I've ever had and I lived in Florida. Definitely will be back. We like non chain places this one is a must stop in.

Love this little hometown restaurant. I love that you can bring your kids while dining. But if you have a night out you can choose to sit in the bar area. Food is really amazing. You can get just about anything here. Been going here since 2014. Can't go wrong here at all. The outdoor patio is awesome too.

We had a large group of 9 descend on this quaint pub right at there busiest hours - dinner time!! Even though they were jammed packed , our server was awesome!. All of us couldn’t make up our minds what to eat, we were so busy catching up on each other but he waited on us patiently, got every order correct, and didn’t mind when we asked for separate checks. The food was fried to perfection with the most tantalizing breading. The bartender, Christy kept our glasses full and our table clean and chatted it up to show off the place. We loved it. This is a must stop by have a beer and feel welcomed place!!!! The entire family can come here !

Completely different vibe. This place is joyful, efficient, the full of fun. If you have stayed away because of the bad service, poor management, and substandard quality food and drinks, it's safe to go back. I recommend it.

The Corner Grill aced the taste! We enjoyed the homemade chicken tenders, fries and meatloaf special. The menu had something for everyone. We are in town for a ballgame and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in New Pal again. We would recommend it for kids and adults.

Great atmosphere. Packed house during dinner hours and staff able to keep up. Food excellent as always. Will return again and again

I'm giving a five star because we didn't experience 1 bad thing. The waitress came to our table within 3 mins of us sitting. For a Saturday 3pm they weren't super busy. Our food didn't take much time for us to receive either. We were passing thru and wanted something new to try. We will definitely come back again. I had ordered a bowl of Chilli, which I enjoyed w/ a salad. My better half had Tachos which he loves making at home. Tater tots were crispy just how I 💗 them. His Frisco Melt was delicious he said.

Stopped in on my thru town and was surprised at the variety of the menu for a small town bar. Had one of their lunch special available through the week, and it was tasty. Only had one waitress covering the bar and dining room, but she was right on top of everything and friendly. Looking forward to trying this place again.

Fantastic food, great quality and very friendly staff. Awesome place to chill, watch sports and eat good food. Really nice atmosphere! Shrimp Po'Boy is excellent, as are the sweet potato fries.

Had the New Pal Pub for the first time today. The food is excellent. Especially their fried pickles and wings!! Highly recommend and will be going back!

A true small town pub that offers a lot from ice cold drinks to super yum food. Great crowd, awesome food, nice atmosphere.

First time coming here. I was really impressed with the attentiveness of my server. She was also the bartender,but she was perfect. The food came out hot and delicious, and boy there is plenty of it. The serv8ng sizes will fill you up. Overall it was a great experience will Def be back and highly recommend.

Round the Corner Grill is a great place to be! Everyone is made to feel welcome. It's kinda like being home. The food is on point! The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is great! I love this place!! I highly recommend stopping in, or making it a destination spot. You will not be disappointed.

We are from out of town and we're looking to kill time and watch the IU game. Found Round the Corner Grill. While the building looks very plain the inside had a great atmosphere. Everyone was cheering for the game. The service was good and fast considering how many people were there. The food was really good. Order the fish and chips some of the best I have had in a while. Getting sweet potato fries is a must. Will try to come back when we are back in town.

We went for drinks but it was nice and clean.

Had lunch today with my Mother in Law, we both ordered the Chief Salad. Very good portion of food on both ordered. They looked to be short handed & in their defence it was lunch time.
Only thing they need to turn the music down during their busy rush hours, the acoustic are not that great in there so everything echos.
Definitely a nice local place to eat but talking with people at your table a bit difficult.

Called in a pick up order as I have a couple of times before. For the 2nd time the tenderloin sandwich was so good and comes with a side. And the breaded mushrooms might make you weep. They are really good. For todays prices, I feel like this place is a good value. JN
