Iron Kettle

I love their meatloaf on Tuesday nights. It is the best and well worth the trip to get it. Nice friendly atmosphere. Portions are great and you might have enough left to take home for a delicious sandwich!

When I walked into the restaurant I was thinking one of the Iron Kettle’s great breaded tenderloin sandwiches, but once I saw the Special Board with a Ham Salad sandwich my mind was fairly well made up. After inquiring with my server if the Ham Salad is made from scratch or like so many places container distributor supplied and found out it is made from scratch I was sold.

Perfect light lunch for a hot sunny day of yard work. Always a good experience from the food to the service at the Iron Kettle. Nothing beats independently owned, operated and fresh made ever!

We stop in here quite often. Very friendly place for down home meals. Great food. Clean and very reasonably priced.

Hadn't been here in years and met a good friend here for lunch. The breaded mushrooms were the best I've ever had. I got the chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes with a dinner roll and a side of green beans. They were wonderful as well and I love that they use the thicker style noodles. We finished it off with blackberry cobbler and it was very tasty. Absolutely will be back :-)

Grouper was delicious! It was our first visit to this restaurant. The employees were all very friendly! The restaurant was very clean!

Fantastic. Everything was delicious. Even the tea was delicious. REAL BUTTER for the rolls, yum! I got the broasted chicken, he got the beef noodles. Chicken breading was great. Ranch dressing also yummy (homemade?). Service good, staff friendly; clean, cute place. Definitely will revisit.

Great place for a meal! Love their food, especially their breakfast menu is amazing. Water has a bit of a sulfuric taste, so if you like that kinda thing definitely worth a visit, if not they always got lemon packets to use!

Breakfast was great! Really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The wait staff was attentive and quick to keep my cup full of coffee. We'll be back soon for lunch and dinner!

Great place to sit and have a meal. My coworkers and I spent about every day in there for lunch for 2 weeks while we had combine repairs near Sulfur Springs. The staff was very kind and quick to learn our drink preferences after a couple days. They have a daily special and regular menu also. The pricing is fair and reasonable for a sit in restaurant.

I love this place. I always enjoy myself and the food. We usually get the same waitress. We both go back and forth kidding around. These are good people and good food. Not expensive either.

The BEST Swiss steak anywhere around here! I go almost EVERY Tuesday to get it. ALL the food is great, the waitresses are attentive and sweet. Melinda is always friendly and has a smile. If you have never been to the Iron Kettle you are missing out.

Quintessential small town diner with real solid well prepared menu items. Service is always consistent, quick, and kind. I've been eating here most of my life and am never disappointed.

Short staffed but very efficient 2 waitresses. Both working each others tables when needed. Food very good.
