Nettle Creek Hardware

We are lucky to have a bigger than the average hardware supply store like this. Here in my hometown. It's a great town & believe me, there's no marked up pricing going on here. matter of fact, I think things are priced cheaper than your big hardware stores, but that's my opinion, though. Oh yeah, and they got one of the biggest dagon chairs I've ever sat in, too!

Gary is the best! I am working with him on a kitchen cabinet expansion remotely from Florida, a project that I have been trying to get done for 2 years and no one could make it happen until Echelon (manufacturer) referred me to Gary. He made it happen quickly, effortlessly, and cost-effectively. And when I ran into a problem, Gary went to the mat for me and resolved everything to my satisfaction and without any discord. Utmost integrity and honesty and customer service excellence is what I got at Nettle Creek Hardware. I am sure you will, too. I can’t hardly wait to work with Gary on phase 2 of my kitchen cabinetry! Nice people. Had what I needed.

I absolutely love this laundromat and hardware store. This is my hometown and everybody is always so helpful and nice no matter which establishment you go to. I saw so many comment earlier below that it's easier or still cheaper to go out of town and get stuff. I don't see how that's true you know you tack another $10 to $12 on for gas to run to Richmond or to Newcastle on top of the price of the product you're going to buy and I really don't see that being the case. I'm always happy to support my local businesses even if I pay an extra couple dollars for what I'm trying to get.

An excellent hardware store. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always ready to help you find the right tool or supplies for the job you're working on. Unlike the big box stores, they look for you so they can assist, no hunting to find help here! I have saved immeasurable time and money here rather than driving 15+ miles to a larger town.

Was greeted upon entering the store. Very friendly place. I went in for paint. I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes with exactly what I wanted. I would definitely go back there.

Nice store. They have about anything you could need as far as a hardware store. I go there pretty often. It's so much closer than Richmond and much friendlier.

I call it "Gary's place" (the owner with whom I went to school.) The MOST helpful staff ever. The store has anything and everything I need and it feels great to support my small local businesses.

Small town store, but full of the goodies and supplies you need without driving to a big city. Staff was great and very helpful. Our place to go now.

I needed a 40# propane tank filled, they had the ability to do it. Cost around $35.
