Big Red Liquors Cask Strength

Me and my wife recently stopped to just look around really and we were greeted by this lovely young lady by the name of Sammy. She was reorganizing an area and had made it look so nice that my wife tried buying way more than we needed. All because it was so organized. By the time we were leaving my wife was trying to bring Sammy with us! She was such a sweetheart and very helpful. She did a great job reorganizing the wall too!

Tyler, Ben and their crew run one of the best Big Red locations in the city. Their store is clean, well stocked with all your needs plus great bourbon finds, the staff is knowledgeable and the beer selection is fantastic. Bonus points, they carry Rhinegeist, my favorite craft brewery.

Awesome place. Higher prices but better selection, though Total Wine & More is currently eating every liquor store's lunches. You may have a chance of snagging some rare bottles, IF you make it there before the balding middle-aged d-bags in their King Ranch trucks and their bourbon club lackeys show up and clear the shelves.

Great selection! I'm early in developing my bourbon palate, but they certainly offer a lot of options for me to spend an hour or so staring at (Half of the back wall.) This was always my go to for a great craft beer selection in Greenwood.

Friendly staff. Great selection. No complaints when I arrive 10 minutes before close. I usually get off work with just enough time to squeeze in a stop for cigs on my way home.

The best place to fine craft beer from everywhere! Sometimes you know you want something new but not sure. . Boom. Hello oatmeal cookie stout. The staff is helpful too. They genuinely like their jobs and are helpful. I found this little cutie pie and bought for a friend who lives out of state and visiting soon.

Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, Gloria is my favorite, she has made great recommendations and I have enjoyed bourbon I may have missed. So I really appreciate her and all the service.
I'm a Rare Breed and Buffalo Trace fan.
Knob Creek 12 and Old Grand Dad 117 are a couple others that are accessible and tasty.

They have a great selection, and the staff were very helpful! They also carry Original Sin, as well as Cider Boys, both of which are really hard to find around Greenwood.

Mitsy, hope I got her name right, is an absolute gem. Her alone is why I'll be back, she made my thanksgiving that much better.

Great knowledgeable staff and product variety

The folks here are great and don't rush you in and out. The selection is pretty solid as well. The lottery events are sometimes crazy with the l number of people that come but that is the normal these days. If your in the area, stop by and check them out.

Nice store with a large selection, maybe the largest on the Southside.

This was my first time visiting big red liquors on the south side, had no intention of going until my friend said he needed to look for a special type of bourbon that you can only find at big red.
So we went, and I must say visually it's a very cool store! I love how it's set up and organized into different sections.
The selection here is insane! Truly I've never seen so many choices of alcohol, and I found different options that I didn't know existed.
My intention was to not purchase anything, but I found a good deal on Johnny walker red but the game of thrones version. For a steal of 15 dollars! I couldn't pass it up!
Another awesome feature of this store is that you can taste things! How could you go wrong with that,
Right in the middle is a tasting bar, you just let them know what you are interested in trying and they will pour you a generous but legal portion to try out. I hope to find some big reds up near me for my shopping needs!

Awesome and wide selection of all types of beers, liquors, and liqueurs. Carries items that may be hard to find in smaller liquor stores, like speciality whiskeys or mixed cocktails. Helpful staff, clean and organized store, and good prices.

Wondering place. Huge selection of local craft beers and some I've never heard of. Kegs available at the ready and the variety of beers and liquors is vast. My favorite place to go hands down. Friendly staff and a nice clean, well kept store.

Very impressive knowledgeable staff. They knew everything about their wine, whiskey and beer selections. Ask for Trent for wine or scotch, Joe for bourbon, or John for beer. Most of the staff is pretty helpful and knowledgeable across the board, but those guys are the experts. They also have tastings available on Thursdays and Saturdays for wine, Thursdays for beer, and Fridays for whiskey. This is by far the coolest shopping experience of any liquor store on the south side.
