Five stars doesn’t do my experience with Smitty’s justice. This place is run by some of the nicest and most helpful people in the world.

The transmission on our tow vehicle went out as we were traveling across the country in our camper. We were luckily referred to Smitty’s by our tow truck driver when we had initially planned to go to a shop that was closer to where we broke down. Not only were they able to get to my truck sooner than other shops, but they also saved us several thousand dollars.

The repair didn’t go quite as smoothly as they hoped through no fault of their own, and they worked tirelessly to make sure it drove like it was brand new. Not only that, but they treated us like we were their own while we were in town.

I can’t thank Jim and the rest of them enough; they played a crucial role in getting us through an awful situation, and making sure we got home safe.

I want to thank Jimmy and the rest of the family for taking such good care of my RV. Anybody who’s ever gone looking for service knows how hard it is to even find a shop to do the work and when you do, they tell you that your work will take weeks, maybe months to get done. And everything is overpriced.

Not the case with the team at Smitty’s. I brought the RV down for him to estimate the repair and he squeezed me in the next day. He and his son worked after everyone had left to get my job done and when they finished, I was honestly shocked, in a good way, by the price. If you need reliable work done by honest people, look no further than Smitty’s!

Very low pressure sales. Went to look at an RV they had it open and powered up. Told us to take all the time we wanted to look at it and if we had questions to come back into the office and ask.

Excellent family owned Rv repair!!! we are so lucky to find Jim and his son for troubleshooting our trailer, they were so patient and taking lots of time to find the issue and fix the problem, so we can be back on the road safely home to Canada. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommended!!!

My wife and I have had our vehicle serviced at Smitty's now for the second time. After dealing with several other mechanic shops we both have realize that we are only going to be bringing our cars to Smitty's. They seem to be one of the only last good and honest mechanics in Greenwood maybe even in Indianapolis. We originally brought our car in for the second time because we were told that we had a transmission issue. After taking it to Smitty's we were told that it was just control arms. Thank you for saving my family thousands of dollars.

Very happy with the quality of service from Smitty's. They completed a transmission rebuild on my Escalade in a timely manner and a fair price. Glad they were available to perform this service.

Awesome family that runs this shop, awesome service, must be willing to bring your vehicle in on appointment. They are always busy because once you use Smitty's for ANY vehicle you will refuse to go anywhere else.

Jimmy Buck (owner), great guy, easy to work with, listened, and most importantly fixed my problem the first time, and did it at a fantastic price. I would recommend Smitty's to anyone that has a transmission issue.

The best place to get transmission work done they are really nice and friendly and they will tell you what is exactly wrong and how much it will be before they do anything to it
