Old City Park

Should be New City Park. Makes me want to be a kid again, the playground has layers of fun
Stuff for the kids. There are plenty of places to stop and sit enjoy the creek and wild life have lunch. Most importantly for me is that my Dog (Bob Seger) thinks that anytime I utter a word that starts with a “P” I’m saying Park. Needless to say I spend allot of time there. Thank

Great city park for everyone, jogging, walking, playground, pitch and catch you can do it all here. We even saw some kids wading in the creek. A short walk to the ampitheater or a local ice cream shop.

This place is awesome from the slides to the rock climbing and the turf hills. Updated and remodeled. Also has Mrs Curls ice cream and walk away to grab some treats after a lovely day at the park.

Beautiful landscape, nice walking paths, Bocci ball, lots of benches, and children's play area in the middle of Greenwood. We also enjoyed exploring the area near the Library and Amphitheater.

We had my grandsons first birthday party there. It was clean and very well kept up. Even the bathroom was clean. The kids all had a great time.

Love this park! So clean and well maintained. Mrs curls also has the best ice cream.

What an imaginative use of a little creek swale. Climbing wall and climbing towers hill's and circles to walk and bike.

An up to date park, with lot's to do for the kid's! Long swing's for the adult's too, Rock climbing, check it out 👍

This is a great family park in a great location lots to do nearby including visit the Greenwood library where there's a lot of tutorials activities and toys that can be checked out for children to play with puzzles et cetera you just tell them what you're looking to utilize and they will give them to you for your child to play with.

The park itself has many puzzle games on the wall keep their minds working slides swings wall climbing obstacle courses for the ages all while in a safe environment the floor is the makeshift patting type floor of course there's concrete walkway so be careful that if your children fall over a lot.

But overall it's a great location with lots of activities lots of walking paths a great environment to spend time with your kids on a nice day out.

This place is awesome! I have a 12 year old and he really loved the foosball table.

First time there. The playground was very nice. They were playing Sing 2 so we expected a crowd. Please watch your children on the hat looking thing. Our daughter fell and they kept running over her. We had to grab her. Just a few scratches. It was great though to let the kids play, dance and sing outside during the movie. Perfect weather. We will visit again.

This is probably my favorite park in the area. Close to many things like ice cream, coffee and breweries. It’s very kid-friendly and family oriented. Grounds seem very well-kept and clean.

Brought the dog for a walk here and it is absolutely beautiful, gives a park within a city vibe.

Super clean and has public restrooms. The play area isn't packed. There are tables for picnic and a great place for a walk in the park.

My family's favorite park to visit! We go there frequently because the activities are so different from the usual swings/slides. It's incredibly well-kept and usually has plenty of other kids for ours to play with. It keeps them occupied for a while and has lots of space for running (and tag, which often end up happening) and climbing and other things to keep them actively moving for a while.

Today i went down memory lane and it used to have a beautiful apple bosom 🍇🤭🌳 in the front garden 🪴

We love this park. Great job Greenwood for taking this old, tired park and making it a mecca for our little downtown area. The creek I so inviting now. All of that old concrete that lined the creek for years made it an absolute eyesore, not to mention and eco-hazard.

This has become my son's absolute favorite park in the area, along with many other kids I know. They seem to love the ability to slide in the "grass" without getting a skin reaction like in actual grass. This is a beautiful park now. The only downside is that it's right across from Mrs. Curl which we will no longer support - so they are getting business from people that don't know the story. But that's not a knock on the park itself. There are plenty of areas for parents to sit as well. Not really much shade so we will see how much parents enjoy it in the summer, but I'm sure the kids won't be deterred.

Excelente Park for the whole family and new updating area

Very well done and short walk to ice cream. Grandsons love it. Bring your own ball for Foosball tables.
