Mike's Midway Market

5 Stars for service and deli-style service. Perfect place to grab sliced deli meat with the friendly old-style service. Grab deli bagged candies and chat with the cashier as well. Not much else here though.👊

I finally stopped in this tiny grocery store after passing it for years on my way to somewhere else and wondering what kind of place it was. It packs a powerful inventory with competitive prices. It’s a throwback to the days when grocery stores were family owned and the owner knew, and cared about every customer. This would be my every day store if I lived closer. Thank you for staying true to the old-fashioned values.

Note: After reading the only 2 negative reviews, I felt compelled to add that I found the owner’s son to be rude too—at first. But after engaging him in conversation, he was very friendly and informative about the store. Next time you’re in, try asking him enthusiastic questions until he loosens up. You never know what might be going on in other people’s heads/lives that makes them defensive.

Best delli on the southside, hands down the fastest and best prices with the greatest customer service would firm in the main with the right hook.

I went back in March and absolutely loved the service, the meat and the prices!!
It was the 2nd time I'd been there and was so impressed that for as long as it's possible, I will be a regular!
I bought ground beef, smoked pork chops,cube steak and lunch meat (old fashioned loaf) and every bit was delicious!
Mike, hope your feeling better...I'm spreading the word. You don't know me from "Adam" but I'm the lady with the twin grandsons who talked your ear off!

Great deli meats and potato salads! Quaint grocery store in the Neighborhood! Wish it stay open!

Some of the best ribeyes I've ever had. Filets are awesome quality as well. Hidden Gem for fresh meat.

Awesome place to get lunch meat! Priced right and old school customer service!!! They got stuff nobody else carries anymore! I'll be back soon!

At first I thought it would be a hassle to drive to a separate store for meat, but the excellent quality of the meat is worth it. The employees are wonderful and know just about everyone that comes in by name! I recommend Mikes Market to everyone I know!

Very good for what it is: A traditional little area market, especially useful for its staffed meat counter. This is a tiny place, so don't go in expecting the variety of options available at Meijer or Kroger... but if you just want to make a quick stop to grab a few items, get personal service, or even have them build a custom sandwich for your lunch out from items in the deli case, here's your place! 🙂

Mike's is a wonderful little mom & pop store. It is great having it so close to home because I can have only the freshest great quality meats in all of Indiana daily. I don't buy my meat any place else. There home made sausage is unbelievable as is their chicken, steaks and the stew meat can't be beat.

It is very friendly, family run business, that is convenient with great meat and cheese for a good price. In and out with a quick stop.

Family owned business. Quality beef, chicken, and pork. Great selection of sandwich meats. Hopefully you can get some of their home baked ham, if they aren't sold out.

I Love Mike's Midway Market. Great Angus beef, pork and every variety of lunch meat you can think of. Prices are cheaper than the other places. You can call in your order and pick it up after work. Very convenient.

Best meats at reasonable prices. Great steaks, roasts, pork, fresh ground sirloin or chuck. We always order fresh turkey for Thanksgiving and country hams.
