Amazing little slice of the wilderness! Great place to go just to get out and enjoy nature!

Great place for an easy walk. About halfway around the trail is the best place to see old growth hardwood trees. (Old growth hardwood trees have high thick canopies that prevent brush from growing at ground level giving you a much better view.) In the summer months you need mosquito repellent most times of the day. The trail is dirt and parts of it remain soft mud even days after a hard rain. I have seen several different types of wild animals but no deer just a lot of deer tracks. This place is best early in the morning when the birds are more active.

Blink and you'll miss the entrance/parking lot. It was still quite snowy, and we weren't prepared, but I'm sure it is a lovely walk in the woods.

Very beautiful, peaceful spot especially if your wanting to escape from busy reality. Enjoy nature
