Pear Tree Inn Terre Haute

It is a nice hotel, great location, and very clean. The beds were made well with clean linens and towels were very fresh. The rooms are a little on the smaller side (at least my room, maybe they have larger ones?) but it was perfect for our short trip to the area. There was still room to work and relax without being on the bed since there’s also chairs in the room. Very clean, and super friendly staff! I love how it’s right by a nice gas station and Starbucks is right across the street!

Traveling home from Denver CO to South Jersey and needed a place to stay for the night. Stopped in Pear Tree Inn in Terre Haute, IN and was pleasantly surprised they had a room available at a very reasonable rate. The front desk woman who helped me was kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also included the next morning. This hotel has an “old fashioned” hotel feel with all the front desk staff wearing a uniform and a card on the bureau in the room with the cleaning ladies name. Very convenient to major roads and plenty of food choices and gas stations for a traveler not familiar with the area. Thank you Pear Tree Inn!

Pretty good experience so far. I'm in the hotel now, but wanted to write this before I forgot. For starters, it's in a great location. Right next to the Drury which it shares a parking lot with and next to that is a gas station. Was nice for a quick snack within walking distance. Right across the street is a Starbucks. And literally outside my window is a Bar-B-Q restaurant. Also across the street was a buffet. Needless to say you can walk to everything and it's in a good area. The room is really clean and looks nice. I have a microwave and a fridge. I am in room 109 which is nice, because it's literally the first room, and it's also handicap accessible. I will also say that I like the fact that there is a a tv guide pamphlet by the tv so I know what all the channels are. (Some hotels don't have a tv guide on the tv) . Overall really good experience. Fortunately I got one of the last rooms available...and it's a Monday, go figure lol. I don't think I have any negatives...except there are no trash can liners in my little trash cans. Other than that everything is great, hopefully breakfast will be too :-)

Angela was there to greet me and check me in. Christina was there in the morning. She set up a great breakfast and did a great job of restocking and accommodating all patrons with what they needed. Highly recommend this place for your next stay in Terre Haute. My wife checked the reviews and they had great reviews. A friend of mine's wife passed away so my wife had to get me a hotel at the spur of the moment. Glad she chose this place for me. Friendly people to include the staff cleaning the rooms. Even they took the time to greet me as I walked up the hall. Very caring, professional and accommodating crew. Genuinely care about each customer. Wish this place nothing but the best. God's continued blessings to you there as you serve Jesus!

This is an excellent hotel! The rooms are clean and very nice. The service is a cut above the rest. The location is excellent! I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

I am currently staying here with my 3 kids while visiting family. The room size is perfect and the fridge and microwave are great. Breakfast has a great assortment and the staff has been friendly. The highway noise isn’t very noticeable either.

Location is perfect and the price was reasonable. I did have an issue with my room when I tried to lower the a/c and the heat turned on and made the room smell. Sharlee was so wonderful and sweet. She not only changed my room but she followed up with me about an hour later to make sure there weren't any other issues. Just amazing customer service! I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very clean and a wonderful price. Continental breakfast was a nice variety of cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pastries, and waffles. Holly was very pleasant and accommodating when I checked in after 11:00pm. I will definitely stay here again next time I come through.

Decent hotel. Clean. No hot breakfast. Very friendly. Pleased with the service. Parking was good even though it was very busy. Desk people were all very nice. Also cleaning crew was very nice. It was basic but complete. Would stay again.

Clean, friendly, convenient. The bed is super comfortable.
Worst part is, the breakfast doesn't have many option. However, what the do have (waffles, bananas, and yogurt) are pretty good.

The desk clerk on check in was wonderful - cheerful, informative.
The desk clerk at check out was the same. When I mentioned that the toilet was not flushing properly, she apologized nicely and made a note to get it looked at.
The room was clean and comfortable.
I travel through Terre Haute several times a year and will definitely stay again.

Very clean room, very nice staff, comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was just okay...they had waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, but no eggs or meat. The bagels were good and fresh. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Nice spot right off interstate route 70. Very clean. Lots of workers during the week so call early. Not much of a breakfast but it'll get you where you need to be.

I loved staying at this hotel the last two nights. I've never experienced such a kind staff or clean room in my life. I've spent REAL MONEY on any past hotels and I must say, I didn't expect such exceptional quality.

The Pear Tree Inn was great! The staff was super sweet! Everything was as advertised on the website. Clean room, comfy beds. Great price, great location right of I70. Plus free popcorn!

This hotel was amazing. Easy and quick check in experience, clean hallways and rooms. Central location in town with easy access to the highway. Nice breakfast spread. Would highly recommend, I will be returning whenever I can. My only fret is that you are not able to turn left out of the parking lot ( the direction of the highway) you have to squirrel around a couple parking lots to get to a light. Which is completely the cities fault and not the hotel (also not the world's biggest issue, just the only negative I could think of) , something to be mindful of.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. For the price, I didn't expect it would be as nice. Super clean and a comfy bed. No fears here.

On our way home from the Lucas Oil Stadium for a DCI event, and saw there were a lot of places to stay just put side the Illinois border. A lot of the hotels were either overpriced or very sketchy. Pulled in here got a great rate. Holly at the front desk was very accommodating. And I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am a hotel snob and this budget hotel impressed me on every level. Incredibly comfortable bed, two different pillow types, white linens, updated decor, clean, new and plentiful towels, extremely happy and positive employees. Even the coffee at breakfast was good! Pretty large breakfast selection available- not my taste in carbs, but my son thought it was amazing. :)

We're traveling across country and have experienced quite a few "one nighters". Pear Tree provided a clean and comfortable room at a very reasonable rate. Late night check in was very secure (entry to main lobby from an enclosed vestibule only after being checked by front desk attendant). Complimentary breakfast was typical of many hotels "post-Covid" - coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, bread, bagels, prepackaged muffins, waffles. Nothing elaborate but these days you just don't find the hot buffet.
