New Covenant Church

I had such a warm welcome! Others readily befriended me! I was invited to sit down and eat and I only knew them for 3 minutes!

I came to drop off a gift for a friend and then walked away to get to know others!

However there was a strange woman active in the church who shouted at me “I will kick you out of the church I will call 911. Get your own friends, go find a church around you and go there instead. You can’t be friends with my friends. I need my space.” If you need space then why did you come up to me and the people I was finished talking to whisper something to them? The other attendants said “oh no, she is a nice lady” in response to what you and your husband whispered. What did I do to you two?

I was suffering from depression from bereavement and woooooow that just made it worse. Someone over thirty acting like this. It doesn’t seem like others share her views since they were welcoming to me. I asked her what I even did and she said I “barged into her church.” I asked if she owned the property or had authority in the church. She said no. Pretty sure you can’t enforce anything.

I still apologized that I offended her, that I didn’t see what was wrong with dropping off a gift for a friend.

This is why church attendance rates are falling. Churches are a place for inclusiveness. We seek attention for god there, not ourselves. I’m definitely praying for that woman.

I feel really really sad someone at that age would ever act like that and I’m glad the church is helping her be a better person. This just makes me wonder how many other people she did this to. It was so jarring she was all love and light but when we were alone, and no one was looking, she was shouting and even said a profanity. Complete opposite of how others described her.

I don’t think you’re usually like this. I know you don’t deserve to feel this way and I’m so sorry you are hurting so much. I want to be your friend too. Hoping you just had a bad day

Please do not tell me to get a move on in life due to my income. I was dealing with an illness and I don’t understand why a Christian would not care about that.

Please do not be ableist and assume I’m fine just because I look fine, or then compare me to your engineer son and fashion industry daughter. That’s very hurtful

She does not represent the church so still come but report any bullying to the administrators please.

Absolutely Amazing! These are truly God's people, so welcoming, so full of love and kindness!! The sermons are life giving. You will definitely feel the presence of Christ here!

Blessed that this sermon was recorded, listened for first time, I have not yet attended, but plan to do that soon, even though I am a member of another church that does not record & post the sermons for people who miss church due to illness or whatever.

Great worship experience, could feel the holy spirit in this place.
