Anchorage Motel

Stayed here for a night with my husband. We loved every second of it. Spacious room, very clean and welcoming. The mattress WAS TO DIE FOR!! First night either of us got sleep like that in a while. I would truly LOVE to know what mattress they use because I need to buy it ASAP!! Will absolutely be staying here again!!

Very clean and great location. We have stayed here before. Both times were impressed by how clean and well taken care of this motel is. The heat lamp in the bathroom is very nice. Clean towels and linens. Well lit parking lot. Friendly staff. Very reasonably priced for 2 nights. (Off season)

We only stay here whenever we go to Rehobeth. For a motel, it is very clean. We feel the rooms are a good size, bathroom is a good size, and again, just clean. That's what we care a lot about- cleanliness. Also, staff in the office are always super nice. We are simple people and what more could you ask for? Clean, a good price, and friendly people. It's nearby good restaurants and a lot of shopping. We will only stay here.

Short drive from several beaches but across from outlets, grocery stores and restaurants. Family prices and family run.

I stayed here overnight in Sept. Clean room, building, plenty of outlets more than needed, The staff were all helpful and cheerful, easy parking, Like the 2p check in & 11a check out easy access to shopping, and the beach wasn't too far of a drive. Thanks for a delightful one night stay, reasonable rate for the season

We booked a room at 5 pm and drove to the beach, not knowing what to expect. This was the cleanist beach room we have ever stayed in. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful!!! They had a working icemachine and free coffee in the office!! We will definitely stay here again

From the beginning we knew we chose the right place to stay at for our short beach trip. (very clean motel)
Sandy was welcoming and nice enough to explain to us about the places nearby.
We really liked how we were in between both Cape Henlopen state park and Rehoboth beach.
Many food places/things to do around the motel (jungle jims, go cart racing, movies, mini golf, etc.)
This is one of the best motels we’ve ever stayed at and we do look forward to coming back next summer with friends/family and to get to explore a little more of Delaware.
Someone else mentioned that trying to get out of the parking lot is a bit of a hassle but we had no problem because most of the time other drivers were courteous and would let us in!

Friendly, helpful staff on the phone and at the desk. Housekeeping staff are also friendly and helpful. I stayed in a first floor room near the office. Room and bathroom were very clean. AC works great and not loud as some have said in other reviews here. Location is good. Close to restaurants, stores and only a couple of miles from the beach. Can’t beat the price. I wish I had know about The Anchorage years ago!

Great value! Motel that sleeps like a hotel! Large room. Very comfortable beds. Very clean! This is a great motel! No shore motels even close like this one in nj! Desk clerks were very nice and helpful! Can’t beat the price! Excellent motel! Will stay here every year!!! Very impressive!!!

Amazing stay. This place is way more deserving than just 1-2 review on google and booking sites. We came a day earlier than the rest of the family, so we just needed one night and somewhere cheap. Was extremely blown away by how clean and comfy the room was. Nice, spacious room, huge bathroom with several light options, ice cold AC, comfy beds….just awesome. This might be a motel, but it’s better than every cheap/mid tier hotel option I’ve ever stayed at.

Have stayed here twice before, and am have a room reserved again this summer. The only place I will stay in Rehoboth. Rooms are always clean. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. I requested more pillows and towels from housekeeping while I went out for the day, came back to both of those requests fulfilled. The price is always the best in the area for what you’re getting.

Check in was very easy. I was concerned because we were going to be late checking in so I called but the lady that answered was so sweet and said not to worry. We got stuck in traffic and arrived way after check in time but our room was secured.
We stayed in room 305 which was very spacious and clean.
There was a TV, mini fridge, microwave, a table and 2 double beds in the room.
The beds were comfortable and bedsheets were clean.
The bathroom was also spacious and fully stocked. There was also very good water pressure. The only thing the bathroom didn't have was towel hooks so we had to find places to hang the towels to dry.
The counter in the bathroom was a bit too high for me because I'm short but it was the perfect size for my husband.
The TV was outdated and I didn't care because it was functional but my husband would have preferred a more modern TV.
We did not have a coffee pot in the room which would have been really nice because I need my coffee in the morning but it didn't matter to my husband.
The housekeeper - I wish I would have gotten her name - was very friendly and polite. She was a pleasure to talk to.
Check out was just as easy as check in. This will definitely be a place we return to.

Scott was wonderful and accommodating when I called to make a reservation. Location was close to everything. Room was nice. Felt safe at night with a well lit parking lot and we stayed in the section that had room doors inside and has a lobby door that was locked from 6pm to 8am. Price was great. We stayed during the "off" season at the beginning of March. The building looks great, clean and well maintained.They were doing some maintenance and remodeling and getting ready for the upcoming season. Will stay here again during our next trip.

Beautiful little gem in the heart of Rehoboth. Rooms were very clean. Will definitely be back. Only problem is getting out on to rt1. No fault of the owner.

Everything was nice and setup correctly. The service was great front desk and all. The rooms are a little smaller; but all around spacious ,and enough for my significant other and I to stay in. The only small downside is coming in, and leaving the parking lot; you kind of have to zip in, and zip out due to the highway.

When booking in advance, this was one of the only places in the area that had vacancy and good reviews. It ended up being a wonderful little place in a great area! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean!

The bathrooms are a little dated, but they do the job, and it gives the whole place a good bit of charm. The only real con is that fridge (well, the freezer part) didn't seem to get too cold. Our ice packs were melted. But they at least have an ice machine (and vending machines).

I probably wouldn't want to stay anywhere else next time we're in the area. It was a great stay and we will definitely book here again!

The lady at the front desk was friendly and explained things super clear. Whenever we first booked, we were a last minute book (decided to go to the beach 13 hours before we actually wanted to be here, we left the morning after even deciding we wanted to go) and booked a 2 full beds room, since all the other rooms were booked out (or just not available since it's not the season). Our first room, 5 minutes into being there, the toilet was clogged. Multiple people came in to fix it and couldn't find the issue, they assumed it was the person before us flushed something they shouldn't have. They gave us a completely different room, this time with a KING bed and a jacuzzi tub. That's actually what we wanted to begin with but they were booked out, so I was definitely very satisfied with how they handled the issue. Extremely professional, they put the customers satisfaction above all and I appreciated it. Very friendly room service, as well! I didn't catch her name, but she is a gorgeous black woman with short hair. Normally room service isn't very polite or willing to talk.... but she was SO nice and very understanding! Will be returning to this Motel if we return in the next few months, so impressed! For a motel..... I didn't expect much. But this was an awesome place to stay for the price!

Check in was fast easy and the counter person was quick and efficient. The place was clean and looked good. There’s plenty of parking. Restaurant right next door with full bar. The rooms we had 3 were great no problems at all. Would stay again.
