The Rookery Golf Course

Golfed and ate there for the first time. The golf course was in great shape. It was fun and challenging. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. It was an all around nice experience. I am looking forward to going again.

Always enjoy getting back to this tract. I only get to play The Rookery once or twice a year but always find it in excellent shape. Fun course and presents good challenges for everyone.

Played this course over Memorial Day Weekend 2023, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained, the staff was friendly, the starter was extremely pleasant, had multiple beverage carts cruising around, an outdoor grill for hot dogs at the turn. The course was challenging enough for a 25 handicapper but I imagine even better golfers would find the course challenging enough to make it enjoyable. I will definitely be visiting this course again next time I’m in Lewes.

Fun course. Not too challenging but it has its moments and there is variety between holes. The round took 5 hours on a Monday midday but expected that. The starter was out moving people along. Conditions were very good. A little wet in a few areas. Greens were consistent.

Beautiful course. It is well maintained and the greens are very slippery and challenging. The front 9 is short, but there is water, water everywhere and several dog legs that keep play interesting. The staff is great. They are helpful, friendly and accommodating. What more can you ask for? And yes, there is a driving range. Love this course.

I can only comment on the driving range, practice area and shop staff at this time. Unfortunately I have not played the course as yet.
The staff has always been friendly and courteous. Both the above mentioned areas are well maintained. If you live or are visiting the area I would recommend you give it a try.

Great track. Flat but challenging course. Not a very long course but each hole tries to make you think where to hit your next shot. Played in August and with heat the greens to me were still green and fast. They were in fantastic shape. Would play anytime I'm in the area.

Friendly service. I had a wonderful chicken salad sandwich.

Just played the golf course for the first time today. Course was in excellent condition for late November. The staff was great. Overall I felt the course was very fair to play you definitely have to play the correct tee's. Definitely will play it again.

Great value golf course just outside the beaches of Lewes Delaware ... Friendly members and a great restaurant as well.

The course played excellent today in the scramble. Fairways were clean and tight. Greens were pretty darn fast. No complaints here!

We tried to get around of golf in Seaford, but Hooper's Landing was booked solid. I looked for courses near me and found the Rookery. I was with my boss who was in town from NY, we couldn't have been happier with the staff, from the pro shop, to the bartender. The course was fun and we had a great round. We will be back!

Aeration has occurred but it is nice to see them taking care of the course. Traps have been replenished with sand. The staff on the course a pleasure to deal with, need I go on? Thanks Rookery, you are a beam of light in Sussex County!

Beautiful course and friendly staff. Only complaint is the how loud the ball dispenser is.

Well maintained and nice clubhouse/restaurant on site.

The course was very nice, other than the soggy first hole. My husband and I had the pleasure of playing with Paul and Daunte who were regulars and so helpful to us in playing our shots.

Challenging course for all skill levels of golfer from beginners to scratch golfers. Good food and spirits in the clubhouse.
