Lloyd's Market

I've had the pleasure of finding this place because of my job site nearby. Two things that stand out. 1. They have items from other locals in the area. I love that about them. 2. The homemade items from Dawn are the bomb! I'll travel back just to grab items in the future to support them and share their greatness.

Amazing amount of products in such a small place. A little pricey but great fresh local products.

Great, Little Mom and Pop store. Excellent homemade items. I recommend the homemade "round bread."

Everything you need is packed into this little local grocery store, including fresh local produce. That means you don't have to battle Route 1 traffic to get groceries.

Lovely little store, I remember when it was the IGA and my dad used to call it the “Ee- gah”. We have a family beach home here for the past 32+ years, I used to get snacks and slushies. Now as a mom, when we visit it still smells like my childhood- the rotisserie chicken and deli still serving my favorite Amish sides. There’s Still farm picked produce in the back. It’s pricey but the quality of the deli and fruit never disappoints. Always glad to be back.

What's not to love about this charming market. Not only di they have everything you need, but everything is delicious. The chicken is legendary.

Lloyd's Market is an institution and a treasure of the State. I went there with my Grandparents in the Eighties and am still grateful to drop in today about once a month- it's important and crucial that we support places like Lloyd's which operate for the community, and not the corporate chains. You just can't get the level of care and the tangible feeling of family that you get at Lloyd's. When I'm in there, I treasure the moments. Someone needs to film a documentary about Lloyd's Market!

There rotisserie chicken is the best in the area hands down... A little expensive but frankly worth every cent. Living in downtown Lewes this is the go to market, love the people and the selection.

Locals Favorite grocery / deli. Clean, well stocked, great staff. Fresh cut deli meats/ cheeses & steaks, burger, chicken, fresh produce, salads and so much more. Awesome rotisserie chicken for quick stop & shop convince.

Omygoodness, this place is an absolute diamond!!! Cashier wasn't a real talker, strictly about ringing you up and getting you out. But this store is a TRUE MARKET! I gotta go back and get me a t-shirt. I will gladly advertise for them. Fresh vegetables and meats. It was a wonderful experience!!

Very friendly with decent local produce selections

I always enjoy shopping at Lloyd's. It's an old time grocery store. It used to be an IGA. The sell Lewes Dairy milk and Milton sausage, both are excellent.

For such a small store they have everything you need. Friendly staff as well. Prices are a little higher then your avg grocery store but your paying for convenience. Everything was fresh, and the mac salad was great.

Whenever we are camping at Henlopen we shop here, it's old style and wonderful. products are great :)

Cute little store reminiscent of yesterday's little neighborhood stores. Don't let that fool you though! They have a huge variety of items. I saw many organic & clean foods through out. They told us that they get their vegetables local sourced & the meats are butchered in house.
Last night we had their Wonder Rotisserie chicken. As soon as you walk in, the smell from it on the spit engulfs you. It was all I could think about, and we had to go back & get it. It did not disappoint!! Well seasoned & juicy!!
We were very happy we took a chance & stopped in!!

Great little independent food market. They have everything you need and you don't have to walk ten miles throughout a store to get all of your food. They have a nice selection of produce, eggs, meats, cheese, etc. from local producers. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Lloyd's is the best!

Small but fresh and great quality..best rolls in town ! Service is always friendly. Best Rotisserie Chicken in town !!!
