Staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were larger than anticipated. The Inn as a whole was clean and maintained. It is pet friendly which is a BONUS!!
The pool has tables and reclining/rocker chairs to relax on and they also offer continental breakfast.

The Heritage is an awesome place to stay for several reasons. Most importantly the rooms were clean. The whole place was very clean and tidy and I'm a clean freak and I was very comfortable being there. The front desk staff were all extremely nice, polite, and accommodating. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say. I needed a place to stay for a few days and the location was perfect. Everything I needed was within walking distance. I would recommend staying at the Heritage to anyone who wants a clean room with a comfy bed with every convenience possible.

Stayed 4 days 3 nights, only "problem" was 1 night we came back from dinner and our room keys weren't working. A quick and easy fix. Had my 9 month old son with us for our first family trip and everything was great. Antoinette did an amazing job Wed morning keeping the breakfast area going basically solo while also keeping an eye on the front desk.

Booked a stay of three nights. Stayed only one night because of a death in my husbands family. Staff could not have been nicer. Expressed condolences and assured me of a refund for the remaining two nights which they processed that same day. Thank you to Kathy the general manager! Our room was very spacious and had french doors leading to an outside patio. Breakfast was good and fairly priced. Our dog was also made welcome!

Brought my grandchildren to Delaware for a 5 day getaway. The Heritage Inn was a very pleasant experience. The staff are exceptional!! Room were soacious and very clean. Dog friendly too!!

We had a great stay and would do it again. It's a nice (homey) neat and clean hotel with a very nice staff, friendly and welcoming. It made a terrific weekend supporting our Air Force son at the Marathon all that much better. We loved the Christmas decorations and all the Flags in the lobby, especially the Red, White & Blue. 🇺🇸 Also kind of novel to have the rooms named for the states and by chance we drew our home state, Minnesota.

I really like this hotel a lot. The staff has been really good to us and our dog. The building itself is nice, not amazing but definitely well kept and in a great location. We have stayed at other hotels in the area for business trips and prefer heritage over others for sure. They still aren't doing house keeping which is definitely inconvenient but go out of their way to make sure that you have what you need. I'd recommend this place based on customer service. The room sizes are very satisfactory as well.

My room was immaculate with plenty of towels, face towels, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner including a hair dryer! The room also had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker including coffee mix. The beds were comfortable. They also have complimentary Continental Breakfast available until 10am. This was my first stay at this hotel and enjoyed it and looking forward to coming again! The concierges were very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating! The prices are quite reasonable! Recommend!

We stayed at the Heritage Inn Hotel several years ago and were pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms. They are huge!!! The pool was a great amenity and it’s always nice to have free breakfast at a hotel. Fast forward to 7/2022 which was our recent stay at the hotel. The pool and free breakfast continue to be a great advantage for this hotel. The rooms are still huge but our beds were very soft, too
soft really. This year we found that the STAFF IS THE GREATEST AMENITY!!! Every staff member that we encountered from the front desk crew to the cleaning crew to the service guy was terrific,
extremely accommodating and super friendly!!! Thank you very much for the great service you provided! We look forward to returning soon. Bob & Deb B.

While taking a weekend getaway to the Lewes Rehoboth Beach area, we were of course looking for hotels. We didn't want to be where it was too busy, but we didn't want to be too far away. This hotel was the perfect fit. Between Lewes and Rehoboth right on US 1. The check in process was seamless and painless. The rooms are themed with various states and national parks and attractions, which is a nice touch. We had a room with a balcony, which I recommend. It's nice to sit there and chill after a long day on the beach. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to any requests. The outdoor pool area is very nice also. 3.5 ft to 5.5 ft. Plenty of patio space and furniture to lounge on. The only thing I would like to see done is the carpet in the hallway was a little old and dated, but that did not distract at all from our stay. We would definitely stay again

I have stayed at alot of hotels and the rooms are so spacious and it was clean!! I'm old school and appreciate the rooms and I looked at reviews and the mattresses are so protected and zipped up no nothing but clean sheets and clean floor. Pet friendly and nice people. I will definitely be staying here again in the future and recommending to everyone. I am someone that has to have a clean room it was clean no musty smell I read that some said nothing. Was clean and fresh and no dog or any smell. The front desk was very helpful and inviting and they decorated for Halloween my favorite holiday in the lobby.

Very nice hotel! Price was right, location was great for us since we were passing through on our way back to SC, coming off of the Lewes ferry. 2 queen beds in the very spacious room which included microwave, fridge, coffee. Beds were very comfy and room was very clean. They had a fairly simple continental breakfast and that was sufficient for us. (No hot food). Looked like a gorgeous pool and patio area outside but hard to tell with the snow that had just taken. Icing on the cake was Matt's Fish Camp just a quarter mile away. Fabulous restaurant

Every staff members that I met were friendly and helpful. Every one of them stopped what they were doing and greeted me, which made me feel welcomed. The room was clean and the beds are firm, just as I like it. It's dog friendly, too! I didn't use the pool but I can see that it's is well kept. Yes, I would recommend this as a place to stay.

Everyone measures hotel quality based on their own preferences. Having worked in the hospitality field 40 years I give 5 stars. My expectations were met completely. At the price point I selected everyone and everything was nice. Rooms were clean, beds were VERY COMFORTABLE (I'm a bit picky), building was in good condition, staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Of course Covid messed up the breakfast buffet but they adapted well. It was great staying in a pet friendly hotel with our dogs, other pets and their owners were a pleasure to meet and interact with. The location was good, access was adequate, but it being labor day weekend traffic was horrid on Route 1. Great place.

Great hotel. All the staff was Helpful. A lady named Janet I spoke with was amazing. And another young lady I meet while I was there named Brenda was very nice and helpful.

Great place. We had our 13 year old lab with us. They gave us a room with a patio so she could walk outside easily to potty. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was lovely and helpful. The price was very reasonable.

Pet friendly but the place doesn't smell like a kennel. You wouldn't even know the dogs were there if you didn't see them. Staff was gracious and funny. Good hearted folk. We had a horrible experience at a previous hotel and ended up having to leave. We went to the Heritage Inn and had a much better experience. They even let us check in early because of the circumstances that brought us there. Free Coffee 24/7..Clean rooms..followed covid protocols to the letter..spacious rooms..friendly staff..free continental breakfast...great location just minutes away from the beach or any other activities you're looking for.. We'll be back in August..Most definitely. I love this place.

Friendly staff at the front desk, allowing us to show up at 11pm. Lovely suite, 2 bathrooms, a king sized bed with a balcony - a fire place & a spa tub! 10/10 highly recommend will be coming here more often! Lovely area & lovely vibes all throughout!
