This is one of my favorite stores around. The family that owns it is so helpful in whatever project or need you have. They have great knowledge of your job and I have yet to find something they don't have, either already at the store or within the next day. I shop here as much as possible.

Got tired of big box stores failing me… even places with a more local feel avoided customer interaction at all costs. Found Nelson’s in Cave Springs. They’re interactive, they have a lot of stuff plus they’ll help answer your questions as best as they can. Thank you for all your help. P.s. the gas can part worked like a charm.

Great small business! They have more than you would ever expect in a small shop but I have found almost everything I need at a reasonable price. I'd rather buy local than some large franchise. The building has a lot of character and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

Best prices and service around. I’m use to long waits for anything with a car. They did two tires, mounted and balanced, within 30 minutes. Great mom and pop shop with an old school vibe. I’m happy to support a small business and recommend to everyone!

A great family owned business. Tim and his staff were extemely helpful and friendly. I felt like I was treated like family while I was looking for a specific product. Prices are the same or a little cheaper than big box stores. You will also find products you can't get at the big box stores. Plus, you are supporting a local family owned business.

The Nelson’s are friendly, helpful, and always have what we need! From baby chicks & feed to straw and other farm & hole supplies, they’ve got it all in an historic store that feels like stepping back to the good old days. Highly recommend!

Nelson Hardware is a great little gem hiding in plain sight in downtown Cave Springs. We live close in a neighborhood and it is great to be able to run down to a local business to pick up things we want or need. I am a DIY sort of person and I was super impressed with the diversity of products they offer that save me a trip to the big box stores or waiting days for an internet order. Additionally, the ownership is always super cordial and helpful and you can tell they really value their customers and and serving the community. If you haven't given them a shot, stop by. I was disappointed I hadn't tried them sooner!
