Great hospitality within an hour of closing. The same young man took, cooked and prepared my order. The food was excellent it consisted of a Jumbo BBQ sandwich combo w/double fries crispy and drink. Thanks

Love this place! Their pulled pork sandwich is legit so tender and smoky. And those sides? The baked beans and coleslaw are just perfect. Plus, the staff is always friendly. Definitely a must-visit for some good comfort food! 🍖👍

Great services. Employees are courteous and work at a good pace. I never had a problem with my order. The food is always warm and fresh. The only thing they could improve on is a little more seasoning on the meat.

First time trying Tops. We were coming through town in the ambulance, and decided to have something different. I'm pretty picky on BBQ and typically need to be in the mood for it. We had a good visit. I got the jumbo brisket sandwich with baked beans and potato salad. I can't speak for others issues, but my food come out hot and very good. The staff was very friendly. Was excited to see a kool-aid dispenser!

I eat a lot of Bar BQ traveling across the south. The bar bq here is really good but I have had better. Still going to give it 5 stars for great customer service, clean facility, and pretty good food.

Food is always Good. Fries is always fresh. Service is always friendly. Have great employees always nice and respectful.

BBQ is great. As good as Memphis. Banana pudding is also good. Meat and sides are wonderful

Great spot for BBQ in and right outside of Memphis. I meant to take a picture, but I ate my sandwich so quickly! Memphis is known for its pork, so you should do yourself a favor and skip out on the beef. It’s such a delicious time, but honestly anything you get here will be tops. See what I did there? Ha. Go enjoy yourself! If you like barbecue, Tops will not disappoint.

Enjoyed the Memphis pork ribs. 4 bones with 2 sides. Sauce was a touch spicy but that goes with the territory, I assume. Was first time here.
However, doesn't beat Texas BBQ.

Wanted to try out some barbarque before heading home. I'm glad I ate out here.

I stop here every time I'm traveling on I-55 .You can see it on the service road from the interstate . Breakfast , lunch, or dinner . Usually, I buy a pound or two to go . It's a very good chopped pork shoulder ,done right ?

Delicious food fast with excellent customer service. Lobby is open and cashier is smiling and friendly. Great cheeseburger. But the brisket was a bit dry. All in all a good visit.

Top notch bbq ribs. Fell off the bone, sweet bbq sauce was just right. Decently priced, too.

We live out of state but always have to stop at Tops when we pass through the Memphis area! Love it! Beans and potato salad were great too.

First of all, let me say that I have eaten a LOT of BBQ in San Antonio, Kansas City, and Memphis, and the three should not be compared directly. Texas BBQ is usually heavy smoked and served with a spicy sauce on the side. KC BBQ is lightly smoked with a sweet sauce. And Memphis BBQ is mostly just grilled with minimum smoke and a mustard/ vinegar based sauce.
With that said let's get to Tops BBQ. It's good Memphis style BBQ. And although all BBQ is expensive, theirs was a very good price for a gut-busting amount of food (meat). About 18 dollars for the sampler plate. We ate in, which I highly recommend even though the place is well used. That way you get all three choices of sauce, which is a wonderful collection of flavors. The sweet is right out of KC. The hot is straight from San Antonio. And the medium is the perfect Memphis sauce. With these sauces and all that meat, it was a fun meal. And to keep this review a little shorter, here's some quick notes on the rest:
1. I understand BBQ must be cooked well before serving, and keeping it hot is tough without over cooking, but it could have been served a little warmer.
2. The beans were good, and with a little doctoring from the sauces, they became very good.
3. The cole slaw tasted like potato salad only with cabbage. Kinda odd.
4. The toasted buns were a nice touch instead of cold bread.
5. The service was friendly and fast.

Overall, I would recommend eating in at Tops. You may or may not love it, but to me it will be a go to place next time I come through.

My car shut off in the Drive-thru, the guys in the building came out so fast to offer assistance. Then this lady came out to offer me a jump etc. This whole crew went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and received my food. Great job!!! 1030am 7/20/22
