Calico Riverview Inn

My husband and our family came for the weekend and had the most wonderful time! Our room was beautiful with its own private balcony overlooking the River. I love the period furniture pieces in our room and the combination of a very well done modern bathroom. We had great conversations with the owner’s brother and sister-in-law who were holding down the fort for the weekend, and made the best breakfast casseroles! Look forward to coming back for years to come!

The Calico Riverview Inn is the perfect stress-free getaway. You can relax on the balcony overlooking the White River. The rooms are a perfect mix of modernization all while keeping the history of the 100-year-old hotel alive. Tracy is a perfect host and makes sure all your needs are met. The homemade breakfast is the cherry on the top! A must stay place while visiting the charming town of Calico Rock, Arkansas!

My experience at this hotel was magical, beautiful location high above the White River and beautiful surrounding grounds. The restoration was perfect, takes you back in time but with modern comforts and luxurious soft bed and linens! The breakfasts were delicious! Owners are gracious and genuine. Look forward to coming back to Calico Rock!

I brought a group of people on tour to this sweet little B&B. The ladies were amazing hostesses! They treated us like family. The food was great. Rooms were beautiful too!

We had a wonderful experience staying here and viewing the eclipse. The amenities and rooms are first class, and the atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. I highly recommend sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee watching the beautiful White River go by!

Sometimes you get lucky by being unlucky. We had planned to stay in Mountain View during the 2024 eclipse, but I waited too long to get a room. Everything was booked, forcing me to broaden my search to Calico Rock. That’s when I discovered Calico Riverview Inn. Nothing against Mountain View, but I am so glad I couldn't find a room there.

Calico Rock is the perfect town for a relaxing visit, and Calico Riverview Inn is the perfect place to stay while you visit. It gave us a great springboard from which to visit the rest of the town, and its central location was easy to come back to multiple times a day, if needed.

And the breakfast... OMG, the breakfast. It was such a treat. Every morning of our 4-night stay we were treated to one of the best breakfasts of our lives, and every morning it was something different. We’d usually stay a while after we finished eating, talking with our fellow inn-mates. After the day was over, we’d go to sleep anticipating the next morning’s delight.

Tracy, our innkeeper, was an excellent host. She took care of everything, including breakfast, in such a low-key, stressless manner. This is one of those things that’s easy to forget about. You might not notice its presence, you would definitely notice its absence. So, thank you, Tracy.

The view from the inn needs to be mentioned. It’s storybook beautiful. We knew we were in the right place even before going inside.

We stayed in room 5. It’s an oversized room, complete with fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave. On the day of our arrival, there were no other guests, so we took a look at the other rooms that we could’ve chosen. They were different sizes and configurations, but all were equally delightful. I think we could’ve been happy in any of them, but I’m glad we chose the larger one.

Room 5 also has its own private porch. It’s a huge porch with a beautiful view, but - truth be told - we never used it. We were too busy exploring the town, or visiting with the other guests on the common porches and grounds. I suspect we would’ve enjoyed it if we were faced with a rainy day and just felt like staying in.

We came to see the eclipse, but we fell in love with Calico Rock. Our visit - with both the town and the inn - was a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely, hands down the best bed and breakfast I've been to!! Most BNBs just set out fruit and yogurt, maybe some bagels; Cathy and Tracy make gourmet breakfast! I've had omelettes, souffle, sweet rolls, gingerbread pancakes, and oatmeal that legit tastes like banana bread!! It's been wonderful!! And we were extra lucky as we were able to participate in their 1st Christmas Dinner!! I hope it becomes a yearly tradition for them!!!

Our trip has been so relaxing and that's 80% due to staying at the Calico Riverview Inn and the last 20% just from being in Calico Rock.

If you're looking for a place to relax along the river, within walking distance to main street amenities, then you have to stay here 😀

What an adorable, quaint little bed and breakfast! If you need a reset, visit this place! I felt a warm welcome spirit as soon as I entered and it made me feel as if I was at my grandmothers house having breakfast the next morning!

We so enjoyed our stay! The inn’s remodel has been so well done; it’s perfect for comfort and historical concepts. Breakfast was wonderful, and the innkeepers are the best. What a nice, restful getaway

The Inn is just what we were looking for. It was beautifully decorated and everything was extremely clean. The beds were so comfortable and bedding/pillows were fluffy and cozy. And, the BREAKFAST....you won't believe how much love and preparation the ladies put into making this perfect! They definitely go above and beyond for their guests.
You are well taken care of for sure. And, visit Junipers restaurant down the hill...they were awesome too!

This was a fabulous getaway for my husband and I. The owner, Tracey was amazing, gracious and thoughtful. The food was wonderful and the room was so cozy. The bedding was luxurious.
If you desire to get away, unplug and totally recharge this is the spot! Downtown is close enough to walk to for casual shopping and dining.
We will be back!!

Just had an awesome weekend get away at the Calico Riverview Inn located in Calico Rock, Arkansas. This place overlooks the White River and is surrounded by historical structures and buildings. If you are looking for a unique getaway experience with a cozy atmosphere, great home cooking and friendly people, I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast Inn to you.

This getaway of twists and turns was the BEST!!!! My husband didn't even know he needed the "unplugging" LOL!! I knew I needed time away.
You ladies are the sweetest and kindest innkeepers ever. I LOVE there are no "TV's"!!!! Truly, you have the best idea of your home away from home. I have already been thinking of times to get away with my sister so we can unwind and just relax and also my friend that was supposed to come with me this time.
Looking forward to making a return trip very soon.

This place is an absolute GEM! We had such a pleasant stay. Cathy, one of the owners was very nice and took care of everything we needed. The room was super clean and the decor is amazing. The breakfasts were some of best too. The history of the place is so fascinating so it’s great to see it so well preserved but also updated simultaneously. Definitely want to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time for our anniversary. The owner was extremely sweet and kind. She makes a homemade breakfast for you each morning, served in their beautiful dinning room. She also has a time in the afternoon when she serves refreshments and a snack. The rooms have been redone and all have amazing charm and plenty of space. There are no TVs in the room, but the wifi worked great, and we really enjoyed getting to relax and enjoy the scenery, hotel, and the town. It has an amazing view of the White River, and is just off Main Street. We were easily able to walk to the shops in town. The town museum is very well done and very interesting. Everyone was friendly. The food at The Printing Press was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at the Riverview Inn and visiting Calico Rock

We took a family trip to Calico Rock over Labor Day weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed this lovely little town and surrounding areas. Cathy and her sister host a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. They made us delicious breakfast (with some snacks available throughout the day) and even catered a special breakfast for our little one. Already planning our next trip there!!

We just had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Inn! Everything was perfect! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are newly remodeled and updated with every amenity. Highly recommend a stay here in Calico Rock!

We stayed here for a family reunion located nearby. Let me just say, this is the neatest place to stay! The building is really charming, beds were comfy, rooms and bathrooms very spacious, but the staff makes this a 5 star experience! The sisters that run it are so amazing! They greeted us warmly and every morning we had a home made breakfast that was absolutely delicious! They made sure every need was met and went above and beyond to treat us like family just staying over for the weekend. It was great and we’ll be back for sure!

My stay at the newly renovated Calico Riverview Inn was delightful. The restoration of this old hotel is a gift to the area and to the state. The owner’s labor of love is evident in their attention to detail, authentic and tasteful decor and the immaculate condition. A true treasure in historic preservation.
I loved relaxing on the porch and looking at the White River. Calico Rock a charming small town with friendly people who love their tourists. The drive there will take your breath away. I highly recommend a stay.

The whole experience was definitely worth the money! We had stayed here with the former owners and had a good experience. But, this time, it was over the top! The whole inn has been remodeled and updated. The sisters/owners were delightful, to say the least! They were charming and welcoming. And the breakfast was outstanding!! The fact that the Inn is right off of the main street, yet still secluded made for a great stay. We highly recommend it and will be back for the next Jeffery family reunion!
