Malcolm saved my deck. He made major repairs to my deck and then power washed, sanded, and painted stain on by hand (not sprayed on). He believes in Quality and goes above and beyond where others might cut corners. Excellent workmanship, reliable, affordable, attention to detail, good communication, honest, experienced and prepared. He is the BEST.

Just had a new gate installed on my 6ft privacy fence, and he reset the posts that were leaning. Also had gutters cleaned out. Awesome, professional service. Great communication, quality work, and lots of attention to detail. Exactly what I needed for this repair job.

Highly recommend Norfork handyman. He repaired a water damaged shed, painted and did some garden work. I had to wait a while before work could begin due to his workload, but once he started he was committed and stayed until all work was completed.

Replaced deck floor and built new railings, gate and stairs. A wonderful job. Very professional. He offered suggestions on how to do certain things. He was.very meticulous about his work. I hired Malcolm remotely to replace an existing upper level railing and design and construct a professional quality yard/pen fencing on the lower level. At all times he offered suggestions, kept me informed of the progress, sent many photographs, and took great care of the project and the property. He estimated fairly, solicited my input, advised me of minor course corrections, and put in many hours to get the job done right. Malcolm kept the workspace clean and tidy, as photos demonstrated. Malcolm built a 10x60 free standing deck adjacent to my manufactured home. I explained to him what I wanted and within a few days he sent me some plans for approval. We had alot of rain this spring but Malcolm put in all the time he could working sometimes in the drizzling rain. Malcolm's work ethic is very good his knowledge of carpentry is excellent. I am very happy with my project and wouldn't hesitate to use Norfork Handyman again.

He replaced deck boards, repaired deck and porch railings, replaced porch landing boards and painted. He improved the structural integrity of my deck. I hired the Norfork Handyman to do a couple of fairly simple repairs around the house, although I say simple, they were tasks beyond my handyman skill set. The first task was to repair the concrete step at the house front door. The door step now looks new causing the front door to look better than it ever has. The second task involved cleaning up and repairing parts of the back porch. Previously I had tried to do some of these repairs myself but Malcolm's work looks so much more professional than my own. Overall, I am very impressed with the Norfork Handyman's professional ethic where he gives an honest assessment of what needs to be done in each project, and does it. We knew that we hired the "real deal" with Malcolm for our deck project. Besides being a great carpenter, Malcom is professional, conscientious, was timely (often staying over to complete a section of the deck), respectful of our property, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of EACH DAY. He offered up many creative suggestions on other DIY projects around the cabin that we had mentioned that we were going to do ourselves (who else does this?!?). The deck repair was above and beyond our expectations. And what a nice guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- we'd give 10 stars if we could!

We used Malcolm for a repair to our greenhouse after a storm hit the roof. He completed the job in a timely manner. The work was exceptional and I would definitely reach out to him again for any repair work!

I had a garage that needed help. It’s detached from the house and the siding close to the ground was deteriorating. The fascia board on both sides needed to be replaced. The board under the fascia board also needed to be replaced. Then there was the tin roof that a tree had fallen on several years ago that needed a few panels replaced so it wouldn’t leek. I was so happy that the norfork handyman said he would take on the project and I love the end result!

Excellent work. Transformed our deteriorating deck into a gorgeous outdoor space. Malcolm replaced existing decking, added an extravagant pergola, and bolstered the existing deck support.
