Trejo's Del Lago

Beautiful restaurant in Hot Springs with a great patio that overlooks the lake. Guacamole was cool and fresh and I had a Fiesta in my mouth.

I came for the view and that's what I got. I was in town for only a night and wanted to eat somewhere new with a view. My food was plentiful and tasty. Weather was perfect, staff was very friendly and prompt. Thanks!

Had such a good time here we went 2 nights in a row! The guacamole is fantastic & I definitely recommend the salmon tacos! Tres leches cake is amazing too & the watermelon margarita was the best I've ever had! Love it here!

We definitely recommend this place, food was excellent, amazing customer service and the location is wonderful with boat slips to park, is so convenient. The views are extraordinary!! So come visit and enjoy some drinks while watching the sunset.🤗💯

We had the Shrimp Ajillo and Al Pastor Quesadilla. Wowowow!!!! Both were soooo tasty and MASSIVE portions! The sauce on the shrimp were amazing and they were perfectly cooked. The al pastor was so flavourful and the quesadilla itself was super crispy! The beans they came with were soooooooo good too! The mezcal margarita was great. If you like Smokey flavours give it a try!

The sunset here was absolutely gorgeous so try to sit outside if you can.

Not to compare but we went to the firsherman wharf the night before and this place BLEW it away!!!! In every aspect. Better food, better drinks, better service and better sunset views.

Outstanding Mexican restaurant with a seafood 🦞 twist. Service was amazing and the place is very clean! My family loved the chill atmosphere and breathtaking view from the deck. Strongly recommend when visiting Hot Springs AK 👍 try the Ceviche appetizer… we couldn’t get enough of it.

Oh my gosh I absolutely LOVED the taco salad! I got the grilled chicken and it had flavors I didn’t expect. Cheese dip and refried beans surprised me at the bottom of the bowl. Also, the quality of the cheese dip was a step above the rest! One of my favorite things is that they provided a 1 page menu instead of a three page folding menu. I absolutely can’t stand when there are too many choices. Having this one page helps guests see the establishment’s best foot forward. Also, the manager was there and smiled and clearly cared about what his team was doing. Thank you for the nice experience!

This is not a Traditional Mexican Restaurant. I would consider this more like a Transitional Modern Mexican Restaurant. Do not come here looking for tacos and burritos. They have upgraded, classier versions.
For an appetizer we ordered the Ceviche Tostada's. The presentation was beautiful, flavor was mild but good. I wouldn't order them again, only because I have tasted better versions.
For our meal I ordered the Salmon Chipotle that came with a creamy sauce that was very delicious.
My husband ordered the Tacos de Salmon. He said it was a nice change from the usual Talapia Tacos most restaurants serve.
All in all we enjoyed our meals and the experience. We will go back.
One bit of advice I would give the chef would be to cut down on the cooking time of the salmon. It should be moist and tender. Not dry.

My brother an his wife got married in Hot Springs and chose Trejo's Del Lago for supper! It was so awesome! The staff was so friendly, the servers did a great job and the food was so delicious! Also the view from the patio was so beautiful! Would highly recommend!

Wow - all I can say is wish my wife was here with me. Oh and the Chicken Chipotle is fabulous. Spicy and great with the handmade corn tortilla - the owner was unloading some stuff from a truck & he was super friendly and welcoming. The staff here is top notch. This location is only 5 months old while there are several other ones around. Very relaxing facing the sunset view is spectacular.

Excellent night at Trejo's. The wait staff was fantastic and was very quick on everything I needed. The food and drinks were awesome as well. Add to this that they have a water front deck to watch the sunset. It was great and I wouldn't hesitate to go again. They also have a dock so you can drive your boat in as well.

AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! We always strive to eat local when we are visiting out of town and Trejos on Lake Hamilton hit the spot!

We stayed in Homes 2 Suites just a block away from here for 3 days and ate here twice-it was so pleasant and delicious! It was during the Thanksgiving holiday and therefore, it was dead-but that was just fine by us. That allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere, staff and food even more so. Staff was very friendly and helpful and accommodating. I still haven't decided which was the better experience-the friendliness of the staff or the food. The food was delicious and was served in very generous portions. Very affordable and paired together nicely. They also have a spicier hot sauce upon request. We live in a town that serves lots of tex-mex, so it was a welcomed treat to find authentic Mexican dishes in rural Arkansas! Keep it up!

The Food was Amazing!!! The view spectacular! Highly recommend Shrimp Jalapeno appetizer ordered "crispy" and the Mangonada was really good if you like sweet fruity drinks, if not the Top Shelf Margaritas on the rocks are Out of the Park Good!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food, service and ambience at Trejo’s del Lago. We ordered the salmon tacos and red snapper entree and not only were they perfectly seasoned but they were perfect portions. We also had the chorizo queso and it is the stuff dreams are made of. Literally. I have dreamed about it and picked it up to go twice since then. The atmosphere is second to none in Hot Springs. There’s an amazing outdoor dining space that remains cool with fans even in the heat of the summer. The indoor space is elegant with an upscale lounge vibe. We especially love sitting under the portrait of Frida Kahlo. There’s such a great energy there. The service we received was incredible. Especially considering that every single restaurant is dealing with shortages. We were there on a Monday night and it was quite busy. We had no wait and were attended to without any delay. They are now serving brunch and I am looking forward to trying that out soon! If I could give 10 stars I would. Love this place!

Stopped in for lunch, first time at this Trejos. I ordered the shrimp alambre and at 15.99$ it was worth every penny. I didn't leave anything but the garnish. I will certainly be back again.
