The Gold Leaf Hotel of Dewey-Rehoboth Beach

I can not say enough about how good this hotel is. The staff and the Location was great. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything you would need was in walking distance. And best part was how close you are to the beach. We will be back.

The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet!
I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. Marie, Carman, Emma and Dez were very accommodating, kind and thoughtful, as were the rest of the hardworking staff!
The location is spot-on and the garage parking is a nice convenient amenity.

Just checked out and absolutely adored our visit. Staff was accommodating, facilities were lovely! Very walkable. It was about 10 minutes to North Beach venue and 3 minutes from the beach!

Loved the refrigerator and microwave for our leftovers. Parking garage was super convenient. There’s also a shower and hose on the stairway entrance to get all the sand off before heading upstairs.

Within a half hour of checkout, they contacted me about an item left behind! I would have lost my mind without my e-reader. Impeccable customer service!

Great location, clean and affordable. Not a 5 star hotel but definitely 5 star value. 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Also walkable to the bars and restaurants. Room/ bathroom was clean and fairly updated.

We had an issue with our AC and staff was quick to fix. Lady at the front desk was helpful.

I didn't use the pool but went to check it out. It's on the 4th floor. Looked clean and had some lounge chairs.

Note you get one parking spot per room but there is plenty of street parking (come early for street parking).

Will be booking here again!

Clean hotel. The rooms were in nice condition. Everything worked in the hotel. Microwave and fridge were a nice touch especially with no breakfast. They do advertise that there is no free breakfast. There are many places nearby so it’s not a problem. Great price for the value. Location was great only a block from the beach. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Anything you need they will provide. Would definitely recommend.

5 stars for the experience given the price. This was the cheapest available option on Dewey beach and we thought it was a fantastic value! Right on the main drag of bars on Dewey. We got free parking in the hotel garage and didn’t have to move our car all weekend because everything we needed was walkable. Room was clean and staff was friendly. No breakfast options but we wouldn’t have used it anyways.

The hotel offers an impeccable service, comfortable, clean rooms, and a location just two steps from a sand. I am very happy with my choice! The money paid off.

Giving a 5 star not because its a fancy hotel but for 19 years I can always depend on a great location, fair price, nice large room and beautiful view (if you get a street side room with doors that open). In the off season we use only 2 places in Dewey to stay for mini retreats and this one has always met our needs. Before the remodel the mini balconies were nice but more room space is good and having at least doors that open with a safety railing for fresh air and views is a plus!!!

Clean room, great location and friendly staff. Stayed for a long off-season weekend. Although reduced for the off-season, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are simple but CLEAN! So close to the beach too. They do not have breakfast but no worries....there are many lovely spots close by

I was there last week with my family I checked in August 31at 830pm,the person in the front desk was very pleasant and very nice,We felt very welcomed, and the person who was in the front desk during the day time was very helpful in many ways and I want to say thank you to Mario for his assistance and with for his great personality.We were very happy. Good coffee all day long.Clean pool.Very convenient location especially to the beach.

Can't say enough great stuff about my stay. My first solo vacation. Room was great, pool was great, beach yes.. But the staff was the best, so kind. Especially Brittany and Ella🙂 I will definitely come back. You have a great group there. Thanks to all!! Oh forgot about about the coffee.

Stayed Aug 2022. Great location, parked car in garage and didn't get back in until check-out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach and restaurants were steps away. Rooftop Pool was shallow 3-4 ft deep but was great for cooling off. Will return.

We spent 3 nights at Gold Leaf Hotel, Dewey Beach, DE. The people running the check-in desk were very hospitable. We were told that because of Covid, there was no housekeeping except for new families checking in. That was perfectly fine by us because all housekeeping does is make the beds and bring you fresh towels and we felt much safer than having people go in and out of our room. Several years before, we had stayed at the Hyatt directly across the street, which was 2 blocks from the beach and this hotel was only steps to the beach and the prices are more reasonable than the Hyatt. We did not even mind that there was no more free breakfasts because we found a few restaurants within walking distance to have breakfast in. The room was nice except the bathroom was a little small but that was no big deal. We had to wear our masks while walking through the hotel but that was no big deal either and made us feel safer. There aren't a lot of cable channels to view but honestly we weren't in the room that much to even watch it. If you continue to keep your prices lower than the Hyatt, we will definitely come back next year. Staying in your hotel made our visit very pleasant and comes highly recommended.

Recently spent close to a week here and can not say enough about how helpful and kind each staff person is - each person always had a smile too! Any request i made was attended to immediately. I had two very active toddlers half the time. They all treated us like family.

Love free coffee 24/7 in the lobby too.. Excellent parking in garage, free breakfast had something for everyone. Hated to leave. Clean rooms and lots if towels. Will definitely be back.

The ladies at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed during Covid so there was not breakfast, or pool access, but we did not miss it. The room was clean, and they were very responsive to any extra linen requests that we had. 1/2 of a block on a direct beach access road. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come here again.

A very comfortable room. Nice view and was able to people watch. Was incredibly clean.

Absolutely loved this hotel!!! We stayed two nights. It was a small walk from the beach not even 5 minutes. We were able to view the ocean from our room which was very nice. The staff was nice. I walked in dripping from the beach and they didn't bat an eye. I loved the coffee machine in the lobby I probably had about 8 cups of hot cocoa or coffee the whole stay and it was delicious. The building was well cleaned and very beautiful!! And there is quite a bit to do everything was within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Enjoyed the hotel so well we were so sad to leave it!!

Pulled a last minute impromptu overnight stay in Dewey and this place was the first place to pop up. Quick and easy booking, clean rooms, perfectly pleasant service. They even let us leave the car parked for a morning brunch. Thanks guys!

Our stay at the Gold Leaf Hotel was fantastic. We arrived pretty early and they let us use the parking before our check-in time, then got us into the room earlier than the stated check-in. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Dewey again.
