Went from a lousy, ugly, dirty, depressing and useless abandoned railroad track that took up space to a lively path that is scenic and brings people together while also improving the quality of life and walkability between several towns. Tax dollars well spent eh?

This trail Is undeveloped portion of the Bike To The Sea Bicycle Trail (US Bicycle Route 1)that starts in Everest passes through Malden, Saugus, Revere and ends in Lynn as the Community Bike Path. It's basically a rough path suitable for Mt. Bikes more than Road Bikes.

It's a patch of trees and bushes near the sea, the sea wall rotting, the ground covered in trash and the waterfront collapsing. There's a couple of trails there, strewn with trash and unpassable in some places where the sea washed away the ground. This place is not well kept and the pier is slowly rotting and unsafe to walk on. Not worth your time.
