I love to support local business I will be shopping here for my future boot/shoe needs. I am a custodian by trade so I go through a lot of footwear! I’ll be back in September to get a pair of hikers! It's a small shoe shop with nice personal service and good quality shoes.

I've been going here for shoes, sneakers, and boots for all my life (cough 40 plus years). The people are always nice and for the small size of the store, the selection is very good, especially for work boots. This is a great business and we should shop local businesses. Stop by and get a great pair of shoes, sneakers, or boots.

I stopped in on a whim looking for some Nikes, ended up talked to the owner who wad amazing and grabbed myself some slick Nike Air Max's while I was there. They have a great mix of shoes at solid pricing. Just a note, this isn't a store for high end rare shoes that will cost you hundreds of dollars. Just good shoes at a good prices. Definitely recommend.

Service was fast, friendly, and cheerful. They measured my feet and found a pair of boots that fit well and were comfortable.

Best service and prices around the area

Not many independent shoe stores around anymore. I like Fred's. Great place for work shoes for people who are on their feet constantly (like restaurant workers), safety shoes, cop shoes, narrow width shoes, findings and more. Better prices than mall stores, and real service.

I've been a customer close to 10 years because they sell quality shoes at fair prices. The one time there was a quality issue on a shoe, they replaced it with a new pair "just like that"!

I brought my mom in to be fitted for new sneakers due to a recent injury. They could not have been more helpful to find the right fit with her inserts for the perfect sneaker.

I went in to just browse and inquire about work shoes. I ended up purchasing two pair of work shoes due to their knowledge, professionalism and overall excellent customer service. A great shopping experience I would highly recommend Fred's shoes.

Helpful, old fashioned shoe store. Does sizing, and if they don't carry what you're looking for, they'll tell you where you can find it. Great spot for safety-toe shoes too if you work on a shop floor

They go all out to help you with your needs. If they don't have exactly what you want they will look it up and order it for you. They've been around since I was a kid and there's a Reason for that.

Fred's Shoes is locally owned & the staff really knows their stuff. They take my needs into account, glue in arch & metatarsal supports, and have special ordered a wider size than they usually stock. Have been coming here approximately 25 years.

Rick, Kevin and Linda have been extremely kind and helpful over the past 9 years providing me with Timberland steel toe shoes for the workplace and ASICS running shoes for Ironman triathlon training. A pleasure to do business with. Thanks guys.
