Pates Restaurant

Our favorite dining experience in Chatham! Really impressed with their drinks and menu selection. Everyone enjoyed their pasta dishes, especially the interesting take on Bolognese. I loved the salmon tartare cones reminiscent of French Laundry. Least favorite dish was the fish and chips which needed a little more salt and flavor.

This place was a little surprising after seeing it from the outside I had my concerns. When you go inside it is extremely nice and the people are fantastic! Food is incredible and service is even better. We were extremely pleased with our dinner and for a medium high end dining experience the prices were extremely reasonable. If we are ever back in the area we would absolutely go back for dinner. I do recommend a reservation.

The experience was amazing! Our server Niko was the best. Not only were our drinks good it almost seemed like we were a priority. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed like he cared about my family and I. Not to mention the Crusted Ahi, hands down the best.
With the service impeccable and the food outstanding and of course the atmosphere doesn't let you down I would highly recommend to anyone!

We were in town for a work function and spent an extra night in Chatham and so happy we did. After reading a few reviews and seeing the menu we decided to try Pate’s and are thrilled we did. Nico was great and really made us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend the seafood pan roast and the oysters were fresh and perfect. Give this place a try you won’t regret it.

The seafood pan roast is to die for. The sauce is so delicious and, so much seafood!! Also, the quality of the crab in the lump crab cocktail is top notch as well as the grilled artichoke small plate. Fun atmosphere at the bar while we waited for our table. Definitely recommend Pates when you're in the area.

This place was absolutely fabulous! The decor he was perfectly set for a Beach Cape cod theme. Nice tranquil colors. Drinks were very well made. The food was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be going back!

Fabulous dinner for 3. From the drinks, to the appetizers, to entrees ,one was a special request of no shellfish which was accommodated,, and then the desserts..Service was excellent. Can't wait to return this is our new favorite spot.

First visit to Pate's and wow what a treat. So dissapointed we have not gone sooner. Food, service, atmosphere and cocktails were all fantastic. This is a must visit for any foodies out there. Great bar as well, we are looking forward to enjoying it on our next visit.

We stopped in at Pates without a reservation on 8/20/22 hoping to sit at the bar. There was no room but the hostess found a table for us and seated us right away. The food was amazing! Try the tuna cones! Our entrees were delicious! We skipped dessert but everyone around us was ordering desserts that looked lovely.
The staff was like watching a well oiled machine. Taking orders, bussing, running food and taking time to chat with everyone.

We were worried based on the mixed reviews but we had an incredible dinner!! We have eaten out every weekend of the summer and this was the best so far! I had a lemon meringue martini with graham cracker rim which was not on menu but delicious! The sliced medium rare sirloin and lobster ravioli with truffle cream sauce was to die for. Scallops and surf and turf for dinner and a peach cobbler with ginger ice cream for dessert. The inside has been nicely updated.

Great meal last evening. Service and atmosphere were super.

Nico was an absolutely wonderful server! Filet was melt in your mouth tender, and an excellent pour for wine!

Fine dining establishment! Excellent food, a variety of classic and refreshing drinks, and great dessert! I recommend eating here if your traveling through the Cape, make reservations ahead of time!

Had the seared Ahi Tuna & Mindy had incredible Seaford pasta dish! Sit at the bar, they are very entertaining & the service was quick & on point!

Great place. Visited the last day we were in the Cape. I would have gone there 3 or 4 times if we knew how great it was. I totally recommend this restaurant one of the best.

We had a relatively light late night dinner (pizza), drinks and apps so can’t really vouch for their main entrees. But we’d go back for more.

Love the vibe at Pates..Best bar around..huge! Lovely cocktails..food is beyond excellent. Best wine selection on the Cape!

Pate's is a great location for excellent food and presentation. We liked it so much the first visit that we returned the next evening to try some other items on the menu. We were not disappointed.

Had not been to Pates in over 30 years and I'm so glad I went back.
