Nalu Dewey Beach

The atmosphere at this place is exactly how being in a beach town should feel. So fun and they had great music playing. Also family friendly. We went for dinner. The wait staff were all friendly and there if you needed anything. Our waiter was so great. My son likes to talk and asks questions and he humored our son Every time! He was great (I wish I could remember his name but I believe he told us he was from Pennsylvania) great kid you guys have working for you. Also the food was great! Would definitely come back here if we are ever in the area again.

Best food quality, flavor and service at Dewey Beach hands down!! Love the open air dining with ac for those humid beach days. Love the outside tiki deck and that it is dog friendly!! Servers here are very friendly and understood one of us required Gluten Free due to allergy and went over menu items with us. Seriously the pork nachos were large enough as a meal for 2 and did not disappoint!! We loved it here at Nalu so much we ate here twice over fathers day weekend with family and friends.

Happy hour mai tai, bacon wrapped pineapple, blackened tuna BLT wrap and the hula pie. Great dining experience.

Outstanding atmosphere for music. We heard great classic sound of Sinatra at happy hour. Service is remarkably fast - food out in a minute - seriously. Recommend the coconut shrimp.

Absolutely blown away! The food was so above and beyond our expectations. Quality food is worth the price! I will be eating here every time I visit Dewey, and I will be dreaming about the delicious food. I wish I could express how much my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed eating here. Thank you for being open! :)

TLDR: A great restaurant in Dewey. A must-visit for anyone in the area. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. Prices were also great compared to other restaurants in the area. Overall extremely pleased and so was the rest of my party.

My gf’s family and I came here on a Tuesday night around 6:40 and had no wait. Although when we left around 8, there was a wait. I think there was like 4 parking spots next to the restaurant but those were filled so you have to find some near by. But the Hyatt has spaces that work with ParkMobile. There isn’t many spaces at the Hyatt, but there are more around. I just think that the Hyatt is the closest. Food took about 20 minutes to show up, but the appetizers showed up at the same time as the entrees.

Nachos (9/10): Huge portion on these. Comes in this huge bowl, and it’s enough for like 8 people’s appetizer. It tasted great. The pork was super tender. I find that lots of restaurants have the pork super dry when you order nachos but this was great.

Bacon wrapped pineapple (7/10): Solid appetizer. Loved the sweet taste and the sauce the came with it matched perfectly. Comes with 5 pieces.

Loco Moco (8/10): Was pretty good. In my opinion, without the hot sauce they have, this would’ve been lacking. I just think there wasn’t enough flavor in this meal. But with the hot sauce, it was good. I also don’t really think this is Wagyu. Or at least it doesn’t taste like it is.

Pad Thai (8/10): It was good, but not as good as what you’d have at an authentic thai place. It had a strong chicken broth taste to it. It might be all preference because I thought it wasn’t anything special but the GF liked it.

Coconut crab cake (7/10): Definitely something new that you don’t typically taste at other places. But there is a lot of filler in these crab cakes. I personally like more lump crab than filler but I get that’s hard with profit margins.

All in all, this place is now on our must-visit list for the beach. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next time we come.

Nalu Dewey Beach is one of our “must go to”places whenever we are in the area. The food is spectacular and so different than normal restaurant fare in the area. We love the pineapple wrapped bacon and the pork nachos are to die for. They have great entertainment and the place is hopping! Last but not least are the super bartenders, best in the area, especially Jimmy and Heather. Did I mention all the fantastic drinks they make, including the best espresso martini? Don’t miss Jimmy and Heather singing on occasion! Great vibes and a ton of fun!

Delicious food, awesome menu and great staff..loved having lunch outside by the water fall wall. Highly recommend the poke bowls and ice cream pies 😄

Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Pad thai has great flavor to it. Everything we tried was fantastic-Coconut Shrimp and shrimp skewers appetizers, burgers and they brought out water for our 2 doggies. Service was super nice

I love this place I live in Dover and when I come fro Dewey I make sure I stop in ! Their edamame appetizer is amazing!!! 10/10 !!! I love their “kapu (forbidden)” drink is 10/10 it’s served in a frozen pineapple one of my favorites ! I ordered for the 2nd time the Hawaiian barbecue chicken wrap, which comes with bacon and cheese, lettuce, tomato, and fries 8/10 the spicy Mayo is really good the chicken is tender … fries came out ice cold I think the manager stopped by brought me out a new batch in 5 mins and fixed the issue with a smile the service here is always sooooo great !!! No matter what time of day !!! I really enjoy the Dewey location please visit !!!

The Spam BLT is amazing. Update... Came back the best day. The short rib Quesadilla is fantastic.

I'm was nervous it was too kitschy to have good good, but I was very mistaken! The crab cake sandwich had very good flavor. The all-american smash burger was extremely tasty. We didn't order the nachos but they looked HUGE.
Very dog-friendly. Awesome service. I actually went twice this trip and it was amazing both times.

Awesome drinks and live music! Try the pineapple margarita. The poke is wonderful as well (I got this for take out during another visit!)

We ate here three times this past week. We were staying at the hotel across the street and it was too convenient to pop in late evening and grab dinner and some drinks.

Gluten free menu. Decent food and drinks. Very dog friendly. The servers were very nice.

Nalu is one place we always go to when we are at the beach. The food and service are always great. They have a really fun drink/cocktail menu. Their poke bowls are spot on! There is now a back deck area where you can sit outside. It allows for more seating and less wait time to get in.

Came here with a bachelorette party. The drinks were amazing and the tacos were even better!

What a lovely dinner.
We started with a crab dip. That will had sizable chunks of crab meat for the freshly fried wontons.
I treated myself with a Rainbow Poke bowl. The flavors blended so well. The fish is perfect.
A complaint would be that with the open windows being in too many flies.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Our family went two nights in a row. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. The Poke bowls, coconut shrimp tacos and the nachos were amazing!! A must stop when down the beach. Don’t miss out! You won’t be disappointed!

The food so sooo good and the staff was super friendly!

Really only came here for drinks late night on Saturday. Got here around 11p and while the bar was filled, we were able to sit right by the bar immediately. My drinks were a bit on the expensive side but they both had way more drink in it than average. I got the coconut shrimp as a snack and would like to try more of the menu next time. Service was good, everyone was very friendly.
