Atlantic Oceanside Dewey

This was a nice place with super friendly staff. The pool was nice. There is a little coffee shop kind of attached that had good ice cream. The town felt nice and safe. Short walk to the beach which was also nice. Rooms were clean.

Best location in Dewey Beach!! Across street from Bottle n Cork so can sit out and hear the bands play. Coffee/ice cream shop on site. Small but clean pool to take dip in. Outside looks like older motel type but fear not rooms are updated, clean and super comfy beds. Staff very nice and love that property dog friendly too. Literally walk down side street to the beach. We will be back!!

Super cute rooms. Staff was friendly and outgoing and helpful. They let us park in their lot before checking in and after checking out. Honestly for the price you get more than you pay for and you're right AT the beach

We were looking for a hotel near the beach, but not in a crowded town. This was the perfect spot. A very short walk to the beach, and a clean room. Front desk staff were so kind! This place is a short walk to anything in Dewey, and a very short drive to Rehobeth. Last year we stayed near the outlets and had to drive to the beach and paid a lot more money than this year. We will be coming back, and bringing our dog next time!

Nice clean hotel and perfect distance to the beach and to the restaurants, stores, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful, pool is great, breakfast is well-stocked, and upper deck sitting area is wonderful! I accidentally left a few things in the top dresser drawer of my room including clothing and my jewelry bag. Housekeeping found it while cleaning the room, bagged it up, and the manager shipped it back to me within a few days. I was very thankful and relieved. So on top of everything else, the staff is honest! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Perfect Dewey Beach hotel!

Fantastic location very friendly staff I can't say enough good things. Close walk to the beach the rooms were very clean.. the laminate floors were very cool so sand can be swept up they even gave you a broom and dust pan. For easy sand removal.. my first stay... will definitely not be my last!!!

We had a great stay at this hotel! We found it to be very dog friendly, as well as clean. The rooms are simple, cozy and nicely renovated. The proximity to the beach is perfect, and we were able to see the beautiful sunrise. I'm sure we'll be back!

We just checked out and we are already planning our trip for next year. Our typical vacation spot is Ocean City, but we stumbled across this because of its affordable rates and pet friendliness. The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful. The pool area was always well kept and overly clean. The room was comfortable, very clean. The complimentary breakfast was great each morning with a lot of options, along with the Dawn Patrol Cafe’s yummy coffee drinks. The location next to the beach couldn’t have been more convenient. We have nothing but great things to say and are so grateful to have had a great vacation because of the Atlantic Oceanside hotel!

The hotel staff very friendly and attentive. On the first day we realized our mini fridge was not working. Within 10 minutes of informing the front desk maintenance was in our room. They actually replaced the fridge within 30 minutes. The hotel advertised as dog friendly and they lived up to that claim. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good with staff members making sure that items were replenished as needed.

I have been really impressed with the staff here. They are fun to be around and make being at the beach even more enjoyable. The pool is cozy. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but that just makes it easier to wake up and hit the beach earlier. I love the balcony in the evening and the one city block walk to the ocean. I stayed last week and had such a good time, I’m already rebooked to stay tomorrow night. Great, affordable, clean, dog friendly beach hotel.

Great dog friendly hotel on the main avenue in Dewey Beach. On the beach block. Priced reasonably for great location. Friendly management, laid back pool and sundeck. Great light breakfast and lunch/coffee shop, available for the general public as well as for hotel guests. Owner Rob does a great job with his crew maintaining this older property, in the heart of Dewey Beach.

Stayed here last year and loved it so much I am coming back again. Room was clean. Location is fabulous. I really can't wait to go back.

This was me, my boyfriend & my girls first time at Dewey Beach & boy am I glad that I chose Atlantic Oceanside to stay at! We stayed for 4 nights & the entire staff was incredible. Our housekeeper, Pumpkin was a gem! Polite, sweet and professional! Drew, the overnight front desk guy was awesome & helpful. Also, Chris at the front desk was so nice!
The pool was beautiful and clean with a shower to hose off the sand and such!
The continental breakfast was limited but it was honestly perfect. Oatmeal, fruit & granola, yogurt, cereal, bananas, apples, peaches. Juice, coffee, bagels, mini donuts and muffins! The cafe girls were also the bomb!:)
We do not have a dog so I was a little worried that it might smell but NOPE! The room was nice and clean.(a little sand on the floor but that's to be expected!)
The only downside we had here was we were not allowed to use our tiny grill in the parking lot & I wish there were little brooms in the room to sweep the sand up after a day on the beach.
Other than that our stay at Dewey was TOP KNOTCH!

Jenn, the housekeeper for the first floor, was incredible. She helped us figure out how to work the air conditioner and was super helpful. We loved how close this hotel was to the beach and the housekeeper was very kind.

I have stayed here every year for the last 7 yrs! Love the new look! Staff n service is always great and very friendly. Love the fact that it's so close to the beach n we can bring our dog Ranger! He loves it as well as he is allowed in the pool area n off hrs he gets to run on the beach. ❤ 🐕

This is a GREAT hotel! The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms have been renovated. I loved the large freezer space at the top of the mini fridge. Just a small walk to the beach for great sunrise photos.

This place is great if you have kids and animals. I was excited to come here and nervous to for I read some of the reviews good and bad ones but I wanted to see for myself. I give this place 5 stars for the stsff was polite and helpful at all times. The continental breakfast was good. Our room was comfy and clean with a nice size refrigerator and small microwave. The beach was within walking distance from the hotel which was great plus we had a clean pool which they have pool towels The coffee shop that was nice too. Overall experience was great I will be staying here in the future!!

As pet-friendly hotels go this is the best one I have ever used. It's not because the place is exceptionally clean or has any new furniture. It's because of the owner and the people behind the front desk. They were nice on the phone when I called to make the reservation at the last minute and they were nice when I walked in to pick up my keys.

I had forgotten to mention that my husband had a broken foot and we ended up with a room on the second floor. After I told them that he had a broken foot they promptly found us a room on the first floor both nights. That was my error and they didn't have to do anything to accommodate my husband and me but they did.

I also wanted to take my husband with a broken foot and my giant Alaskan Malamute puppy who weighs 80 lbs out to the beach and I wanted to park as close as possible. I myself have arthritis and getting around isn't easy these days. When I went to the front desk to ask for quarters to pay for parking they told me that it was permit parking only beside the entrance to the beach and of course I don't have a permit. The owner offered me his permit for the business. I can't remember when a hotel was this nice to us and the bill was so cheap.

Thank you Atlantic Oceanside for making our brief stay at Dewey Beach so pleasant. Your willingness to help and pleasant demeanors are priceless to me in this day and age.

4 dogs, 2 adults had plenty of room. Staff was helpful and Friendly and the front desk was great. The sights and sounds of the bars at closing makes the sundeck awesome,and walking to beach is a short stroll. Rooms are nice and am already recommending this motel to dog owners. Thanks to the staff for the great weekends we get to enjoy here.

A Friend of mine recommended this place and for the last five years, we have been going here rather than OCMD and my family prefers this convenient and friendly place every year. More importantly, I am a picky one when it comes to cleanliness, (even pre-COVID) traveling with Lysol wipes and cleaning products because of past stays elsewhere, but even moreso this year, I was very much impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the upgrade of the bedspreads and I believe even the beds. (Room 206 at least. ) But walking into a hotel room that smells of some powerful cleaning agents, and seeing the cleaning streaks on the tops of the furniture, makes me and my family feel very comfortable and grateful. And it wasn’t just the rooms, but there was always someone cleaning whether the upstairs patio cushions or pool area, or straightening up the beautiful flowers that added to the proof of painstaking details that make this place all the better. Perhaps I didn’t notice this in past years, but it certainly has improved very much this year. We will definitely be back.
