OYO Townhouse Owensboro West

We drove for 9 hours and booked online for 2 weeks, paid upon arrival. We were not aware of a $100 deposit. When she informed me of it I had to check to see if I had the money to pay it. Luckily I did. The front desk lady was friendly. We drove around to our room and my only complaint is that once we walked in, it had a stale musty smell. I assume it was because the room didn't have air flow because the ac had been off. I have a bad phobia of bugs of all kinds, but especially bed bugs. So just like every other hotel we stay at, I immediately do a thorough bed bug check on both beds. CLEAN. Thankfully! The beds are outdated but not nasty. I wouldn't give a bad rating simply because of outdated furnishings. Yes the sheets have some minor stains on them but they smelled clean every time I would get a new set. There was trash cans right outside our door under the stairs, the house keeping or maintenance emptied it every day. I seen a guy cleaning the parking lot a few times during our stay. The phone in the room was not working which was GREAT haha that meant my 3 year could play with it as much as she wanted and I didn't have to worry about her calling anybody🤣 I absolutely love the shower. It was big and had the curved curtain rod so we had plenty of room. Water pressure is something I look and hope for when staying in hotels! Great water pressure! We are moving to Owensboro and have to stay in a hotel until we find a place for rent. This may not be a 5⭐ hotel but I sure feel safe and clean. The price we paid for 2 weeks was very reasonable (for a hotel.. not permanent residency) We are actually about to book it for another two weeks. I understand that not all rooms are exactly the same and some may very well have bugs. This room that we are in most definitely does not have bugs.. none at all. Except for a few flys at night from the front door being opened so much during the day. I am a happy customer. I wasn't expecting luxury mainly because I wasn't searching for luxury. Some people should humble themselves! The few different front desk clerks that I have spoke to are all friendly and respectful. Thank you for a welcoming stay OYO Townhouse Owensboro!

The pool wasn’t open like we was told it was it nasty green an moldy looking, settling into the room my son opens a drawer to find trash and prior guest apparently left behind their spice or whatever so I’m just not sure the housekeepers know what all they are suppose to clean in the rooms.

Oyo of Owensboro, was so hospitable employees were so kind. My daughter stays there at least 10 times a month actually referred me to oyo. Now I'll always book my stays at oyo. Great rates!!!

The remodel looks great the rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.
