Chautauqua Park

Very nice park with a lot of neat amenities. There is a very nice good sized updated playground area. A skate park, a covered Pavillion available for picnics & a walking trail. There is a ball park on the other side of the parking lot. And across the street is a public pool. It's funny how different things look as we grow. I remember coming to this park when I was a kid for family reunions and swimming at the pool with my cousins. The park seemed bigger when I was little lol.. but it is a nice park with some unique features. The young ones in my family enjoyed it.

Come here to enjoy the skatepark, mostly on Sundays. I have meet a lot of amazing people here. People of all ages and doing different things. So glad this park existence. Besides the skatepark there is a large sitting area, basketball courts, baseball fields, playground, bathrooms, water fountains and a walking trail. Great place to go sledding in the winter if there’s any snow.

Chautauqua Park is a wonderful and great place to go to have fun with My Family. My dogs love the park. Thanks.

Lots of parking and very quite most of the time during mid-day.

Perfectly positioned in owensboro. Has a picnic shelter, swingset and skate park for the kiddos.

This park is very clean. Everytime I have been there kids are playing and having a good time.

The park was clean and well kept, plenty of space to run and play, nice, sheltered picnic tables and plenty of benches in the shade for taking a break or having a picnic!

Probably the best skate park in the tristate area. Not sure how old it is but the concrete is in great shape, the size and glow is good to learn in and to challenge more experienced skaters. It's nice to have a half way decent restroom. It would be fully decent if the locals had a little more respect for what their city has invested in. (Dirty diapers on the floor, wasted toilet paper, litter, etc.)

It's a nice place for free get togethers & birthday parties. It has an amazing skatepark, okay walking trail and fun playground for the kids. Bathrooms are locked due to covid, but there is a port-a-potty by the baseball fields.

The only things this park is missing is a spray park (although a pool isn't far away at all), and free WiFi. There are baseball fields, playgrounds, shaded areas, batting cages, a nice path for walking or jogging, and the only skate park in town can be found here! My favorite park in town would be between this park and Legion Park.

A nearly perfect park, if there is ever one to the day dreamers of the world, model would be exactly what you'll find at Chautauqua Park. The walk path has its ups and downs, the a basketball court that's slightly shaded and surrounded by trees, there's a sweet hill for sledding, a playground, swings for all ages, and a skate park. Yes, a skate park. Baseball fields that are filled a lot in the evenings. If they added a small splash park and free WiFi, it would be perfect for any day in any season.

It's a very nice park and there were lots of people with their little kids and people at the skatepark we enjoyed our lunch sitting outside and it was really clean and well-kept

Had fun watching the kids have fun. Despite my kid eating the ground (skateboards, who knew) he loved it. My father-in-law lives a block away so we visit quite often.

Loved this park for over 20yrs. The new play area and skate park are super nice. If you could update the bathrooms that would be great. 💖😊

If your kiddo has skates or skateboards, THIS is the place! Remember your safety gear, helmets and pads are encouraged. This is a nice park with a Skate Park built-in.

This place is perfect. A skate park, walking trail and play equipment. Everything an active family could want to spend a day having fun and making memories.

This is a family park for the whole family I recommend it to all of you it's an amazing park

This was my second ever skate park, and though it isnt too beginner friendly, it is a fun place to go and learn new things.
