Karen April Massage & Yoga

Karen took the time to listen to my concerns and gave a great sports massage. She also gave me advice to help improve my fitness and prevent future injury. Can't wait to go back!

There are several apps and programs for self guided meditations found online, and in various forms. Here, I want to share my experience with Karen. I personally find it hard to self meditate with my busy work schedule, and the various noises I am expoed to on a daily basis. I read positive online reviews about Karen, and after some soul searching, I decided to give her a try. I am certainly glad I did! Karen is so kind and understanding. She even takes time to listen to you (about you) to better understand where you are coming from, so as to apply the best overall experience you may need. I have truly benefited from her guided meditation sessions. She helps you feel like you are special, and her techniques help you feel very relaxed. I came to Karen as a very stressed person. She has taught be breathing techniques as well as relaxation techniques that really work for me. Each visit I make to Karen, I come away feeling better and better. I feel better at work, and personally, than I have in recent memory. I look forward to each appointment I have with her. Karen herself is a special person with her relaxing voice and bubbly demeanor!
Karen also offers massage therapy and yoga. Having tried these as well, I highly recommend her for any of these.

Karen is incredible. She listens intently not only to me and where I tell her I’m experiencing pain, but she listens to my body while she’s working. She truly has a healing gift that I’ve not experienced before.

She not only performs excellent body work; she provides education for stretches and gentle exercise that can be done between appointments. Karen is an extremely empathetic and compassionate person who transitions that into the way she massages. She takes time to listen to what I need and does a perfect job of eliminating pain,”knots”, and improve my overall body!

I am extremely active in contact sports, Karen always has me back and moving at 100% after our sessions. If we come across anything she might not be familiar with she researches ways to potentially improve the problem and makes note any anything lingering.

There really isn’t much more you could ask from a professional, Karen is someone that I will always trust to help me get back out to the field!
