Seagreen Bicycle

Today on the trail a good friend of mine had a fall. We had to call the ambulance. I tried calling bike shops in the area and Seagreen was open. After explaining the situation to him and asking if he could come get the bike since they were a group of us that had no way of getting the bike anywhere and we were 15 miles out of our way for our cars, Joe came to the rescue. Any world where kindness is seldom practiced but much appreciated, I do appreciate the fact that there are still people willing to help other people. Makes me appreciate that I have become part of a biking community that cares for each other.

Amazing service. Came in for some help and Nick went above and beyond to help me out with my bike. Got a used bike and wanted to make sure everything was in order and he helped with every facet I needed (which was a lot). Highly recommend it here. New loyal customer.

Wanted to have a set of handle bars changed on the wife’s e-bike. Called Seagreen yesterday who said bring it over, no problem. What a great shop!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I pointed out a couple of other small issues I needed looked at.
Got the bike back today and all the things I talked about was handled. The price was right and the work was super professional.
This will be my go to bike shop for both my e-bikes from now on.

This place is great! Brought my bike over to get repaired, and Mike replaced what we needed in less than 10 minutes! Never had to leave the bike. AND they helped us fix our bike rack which was not fitted properly. Mike and his staff went out of their way to help us, and they were all so friendly!! Six stars, definitely!!

Over & above… Eric and Nick are amazing and their love of cycling and service goes over & above and have made my vacation so awesome.

My cousin rented an e-bike that he loved so much, he is going to buy one - they made a newbie to e-bikes incredibly comfortable. They gave my e-bike a much needed tuneup - she’s ridin real smooth… To top of off, when I told Eric about my mother, who was coming to visit me, would love to ride with me but needs to ride an e-trike, he decided to add one of his e-trikes to their rental fleet and she was able to take it for its maiden voyage.

Everyone in the shop is helpful, knowledgeable about bikes, trails, the area. They all go over & above and I recommend them for service, sales and rentals - they make it easy to get you kickstand up and wheels rolling.

Had a flat tire on a lectric bike. We were heading out of town and called to see if they could replace tube. Mike said bring it on in and I’ll take care of you. We did and he did a great job while we waited. Very reasonable price. Other stores could not do it that day! Staff very friendly and accommodating our new go to place for bike repairs or sales. Love Sea Green Bikes! Stopped in today for a pump and phone mount while out on a ride through Lewes. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable! Frank installed my phone mount and I’ll be going back soon for the pump!

Just bought a $3600 Cannondale road bike from Michael @ Sea Green in Lewes. Michael was referred over from another bike shop. He, (Michael) went way above and beyond to find the best bike for me, (and was incredible assisting through-out the entire process,) including helping me pick out best accessories! He has tremendous knowledge of cycling, along with mechanical expertise and functionality.

Michael even hand delivered the bike 🚴 to me, which was incredibly helpful!

My Giant Fathom 2 needed its rear derailleur adjusted since it was no longer shifting. Called ahead of time and arrived 30 mins prior to close. Mike immediately helped me as soon as I arrived, personally tested and had me test his adjustment, and didn't charge me anything! I'll definitely be back to support this business.

I came in today needing help with my child seat for my wife’s bike. Mike went above and beyond to help me. I couldn’t find an extension to make the seat not as close to my bike seat. Mike made it happen with two pieces of metal within 10 minutes. Cannot thank you enough! If you need something out of the ordinary for your bike, Mike makes it happen. Thanks again fellas! You are awesome!

We bought my bike here a couple years ago and often take it here for tune ups. We even took a baby bike seat to get fitted on my bike. Not only did they put the seat on free of charge but they are always going above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. I would recommend buying a bike here to anyone!

Can't say enough about the customer service here. Not once, but twice now I've had an emergency and they were able to fit me in and get me back on wheels. Great prices and selection as well. I was able to get the grips I wanted and also they had my tube in stock - Wow! They went the extra mile on the tune up too.. Cold water, and a waiting area - really neat seeing the vintage frames on the wall. This is such a great location when you need it most! Thanks everybody!

We were in the area on a rv trip and visited the bike shop to ask for assistance with a doggie carrier. I really must say Mike and the other employee's were amazing and so knowledgeable. I would drive from Pennsylvania to give them business. I wish I could rate them higher because they deserve it. Please if your smart and in need of anything with bikes, this is the place for you. I wanted to purchase a touring bike for cycling the Oregon to Colorado route of the TransAmerica Trail. My neighbor had recommended Seagreen Bicycle in Lewes, DE and they sold a couple of bike models on my short list. When I stopped by to “kick the tires”, a staff member was quick to engage, but alas, the models of interest weren’t available to fit my 5’2” height for a test ride. I was referred to Eric to explore my options. When he learned I owned a custom Bilenky Cycle Works titanium gravel / touring bike, which I’d recently bought second-hand, he recommended expanding the gearing to enable climbing the Cascades and Rockies with ease, which was my top concern. Eric was expert in sourcing the needed parts quickly and enthusiastically tackled the job himself. He was communicative throughout the rebuild process and accommodating when it came to modifying anything that didn’t suit me after the initial rebuild -- like changing the top bar shifters to bar end shifters. Eric even threw in a few items pro bono (who does that?!). On my subsequent visits, I had the opportunity to engage with several of the shop’s mechanics and staff (shout out to Mike and JoAnne). Each impressed me with their knowledge, expertise, helpfulness and refreshing friendliness. I couldn’t have been happier with my rebuilt bike. It performed like a champ on the TransAmerica’s unrelenting steep climbs. I’ll gladly return to Seagreen Bicycle again and again without hesitation.

These guys are the best in town. Super friendly, take care of you and they love bikes and the biking community. Just had a custom Salsa Warroad built by them and am so happy I put it in Eric’s hands to create my new bike. They do a ton of rentals and are positioned pretty much perfectly on the breakwater tail. You can ride to Rehoboth or into Cape Henlopen state park super easy from the shop. Do the entire loop it’s beautiful and a great ride. We bring all our bikes here for service as they do a great job and are totally reasonable on price. Add to the fact you have no taxes here and it’s pretty much perfect. Thanks. Can’t wait to build my next bike with you guys.

Excellent service! My almost brand new Aventon Ebike, purchased elsewhere, was not shifting properly. Mike quickly identified the issue as not being assembled correctly to begin with and fixed it. Also went over the bike with me and gave good pointers. All at no charge. What a positive experience!

Every time I ride my new bike, I keep thinking that I gotta leave a good review for Seagreen! Well here I am over a month past purchase and I could not be happier. Every member of the staff is a PRO!! They are friendly and knowledgeable and got me on the right bike for my size and riding style. In addition, I've taken other bikes there for safety checks and tune-ups and for whatever reason, they always come back finely tuned and feeling better than they did on day 1!! Just had a wonderful experience with this bike shop! My wife & I were doing the trail ride from Rehoboth to Lewes when I got a flat tire about 1.5 miles from this shop! I walked the rest of the way there & asked if they could get a new tire & tube for me (my bike’s tires are over 25 years old). One of the workers there named Paul said if we had a few minutes to spare, he could get a new tire & tube put on my bike while we wait & we would be ready to roll. 8 minutes later we were on our way to King’s Crossing to have breakfast. The new back tire felt so great that after breakfast, we headed back to this bike shop to get my front tire replaced as well! What a great job! Thank you!

Top notch experience! We are so happy with our bikes, we went to every bike shop in our area and when we got to Seagreen , Mike helped us find the perfect bike for our needs and lifestyle and took the time to really explain to answer all our questions etc, highly recommend Seagreen for multiple reasons fast efficient service and quality ! They also delivered the bikes to our house no problem!! Fantastic customer service which you don’t find these days
