I've worked with Dawn and Keith for many years. I recommend them and Tax Prep Accounting Services to everybody I know. They handle my taxes quickly, efficiently and do amazing work. They make sure everything is done correctly and double check my returns. I am so impressed with how thorough they are and how much time they take with me. They pay attention to every detail. Any question I have, all year round, gets answered in a very short period of time. The answers I get are always well thought out and detailed. This business has earned my loyalty, I hope others will benefit from their service as well.

Keith has always done a great job with our tax preparation. He has respected our request to sit at his desk while he prepares them so we can ask questions as we go. He and his staff have always been very friendly and helpful. We are thankful for Keith and his staff.

Dawn is an amazing preparer. I called and told her my situation and she explained and dug to fun any information for me and tried to point me in the right direction. I asked if I could come in and have her look at them in person and we made an appointment. I went today 3/3/22 and brought my taxes and a letter from the irs and we sat for a good 30 minutes when she figured out that one the place that did those taxes calculated no stimulus checks were sent to me which I got one of the three and proof was shown through my bank account and the place combined 2019 and 2020 taxes. I also had proof in my bank account that I got my 2020 taxes. So I asked if she could fix them and she said yes but it's going to cost 150. I said I will come up with the 150 and I would like her to do them for me. My bf business taxes were also messed up by the place I took mine to last year and she offered to look at them. She isn't charging either of us just to look at them. I am offering to pay for the consult or what ever for her to look at them. So far I give this place 5 stars.

Our tax situation was complex and we worried for weeks. A friend recommended Keith at Tax Prep & Accounting Services. It was the best move we made. The IRS letters stopped, Keith called a meeting with the IRS and when the meeting was over we owed the IRS NOTHING!!! All I can say is these guys know taxes. I'll recommend Tax Prep to anyone who asks.

Rates kept going up and up and had poor experiences with front office. Offered little feedback to improve. Filed in a nice organized protfolio.

We hired Tax Prep & Accounting to take care of our 2011 taxes. They got them done in a timely manner. We went into review them and there was no review just a collection of our signatures and payment.

When our federal refund was not issued into our account in the time frame they gave us, I contacted Tax Prep (as told to do so by the owner Keith when we signed the returns) to ask for their help. We waited additional weeks as asked. They seemed annoyed and bothered each time I called and eventually insisted I come into the office to call the IRS with them. I stood there while Karen called the standard automated request number I told them I had already tried.

I mention all of this here to show that I have done everything they have asked of me and tried to be as cooperative as possible. Now 4 months later we learn from the IRS our refund is being held up because of an error made by Tax Prep regarding the annual $500 payback of our home buyers credit. I indicated on Tax Prep's preparation questionnaire we had taken this credit and it was also shown on our 2010 taxes which they stated they would review before filing our return.

We have been told by the IRS to expect at least another 4 weeks before our refund is issued. I hired Tax Prep because I wanted someone experienced to oversee our return. When I brought the error to their attention on June 7th they blamed it on their software and offered no apology. I asked for a refund and a call back from the owner. I waited 24 hours and called back to speak with the owner Keith. I again made my request for a refund.

Karen called me back to tell me that Keith would not be calling me back nor would they issue a refund. They told me they would be willing to file an amendment/correction but the IRS has already taken care of this. When I pushed for a refund Karen offered a 50 dollar credit on next years taxes. But I would not trust them to handle next years return which will be even more complicated.

Their website highlights their Professionalism, Responsiveness, and Quality, but as you can read here, we saw little evidence of this. They also did not respond to the complaint I filed by the BBB.

They're quick to bill, cash the check lightning fast but in my experience getting the job done, not so much. I had a time-sensitive task (two week deadline) which needed professional attention and it sat without event getting started for six days. Had to start over finding a new firm and giving them only ONE week to complete a pretty hefty job.

Thankfully, I WAS able to find another practice that understands the concept of customer service and bring my problem to a successful conclusion.

I had made mistake by not claiming 2014 2015taxes in the past. Low and behold it caught up with me....the state started garnishing my wages. a lot! So I went to tax prep because a buddy referred me there he has family who works there... so I did everything was going fine untill I went there and they ladies told me what I needed a few more paperwork to get them done. I think I made 5 different trips there because every time I went they needed something else... need I remind you that the WDOR was garnishing 25% of my check so it was a timely thing for me to get th done asap.... well the ladies dint see it that way every liilttle sted they supposedly needed takes time they said. We had a flat rate of 150$ per year so 300 total. I was fine with that but then about 2 weeks after our initial meeting they told me it was a additional 250$ to stop the garnishment!!!! Huh!!?? How could that be all you had to do was file my taxes and that would stop the garnishment itself.........makes no sense to me why that fee wasnt brought up initialy??? Im thinking these ladies dont have much time under their belts doing this job!! I told them I wanted to itemize because I would get more back than the standard deduction because of my profession.....mostly to claim miles for driving.... they both loozed at me like are you kidding me you can't do that plus you won't get as much back they said..... so I told them guys at my work they do it and they get more back. So we ran the numbers both ways and low and behold again I was right I would get more back if I work to itemize... now I paid them for my 2 years but they took some of that money and put it towards the garnishment.... without telling me... now I find out again this year that my 2015 taxes hadn't been filed...... and there trying to charge me MORE f late fees because I'm late on paying their garnishment fee that the snuck in there.....
