Deland Park

Came up to Wisconsin for the Packers vs. Chiefs game. Decided to do some site seeing. Amazing views, nice beach, plenty of places to walk around and get pics. It was December, so it was cold and did not stay too long. But I would definitely like to come back during the summer months and truly enjoy the area. I was not paying attention when it came to pet friendliness, although I did have my pup with me and she wholesomely enjoyed it. I also seen a couple with their pup. So I'd say yes.

What a beautiful park on Lake Michigan! Check out the Lottie Cooper wreckage while here. Really nice beach with volleyball courts and a wheelchair mat. There is a nice area for picnics as well. Great view of all the boats at the Marina. Wonderful place to take a walk or just hang out and relax. There are public restrooms here as well.

You'll find plenty of free parking, a wide sandy beach and a fun walk out to the lighthouse when weather permits. The water is always going to be cold (it's a glacial lake after all) but people do swim and surf here in Summer. Volleyball seems to be popular and there are often lots of sunbathers who really should use more sunscreen. There are restrooms that are probably perfectly safe now that the serial toilet clogger has been apprehended. Dogs are allowed so if you have a problem with dogs you may want to take that under advisement.

Great space! Our family loves flying kites and usually meet at the Milwaukee lakefront but Saturday we had a picnic and flew kites at Deland. Not only does it have a great open field... it had a great harbor view as well. I'm lobbying to move our annual outing to Deland!

Really amazing. Great for walking on a sunny day. Nice and clean atmosphere. Huge parking space available. And there’s a marina too. Separate parking for marina. People were flyover kites and some were walking with their kids and dogs. Nice for a day out with family and friends. We walked all the way till the lighthouse. It’s a great walk and the pier is well maintained and clean. Really beautiful and relaxing experience and a must visit place when in this area. Thanks. Photos by me.

A beautiful park with a large beach on lake Michigan featuring a children’s playground and volleyball nets. There’s a pavilion with bathrooms near the street side of the beach where you can shower off the sand. A marina is on the South side of the park as well as picnic tables and public barbecue pits. Marina also has bathrooms and there is another bathroom pavilion by the picnic tables.

This park is gem! Amazing beach! Huge Picnic area, Playground for kids many different swings for any age, a variety of slides, a basketball court, a tennis court, toilets, and even sports equipment for training. Huge parking lot!

So much fun kids loved it lots of waves 🌊 ⛱ like being at the beach. And a pretty cool walk to the lighthouse clean restroom and pet friendly. With lots of picnic tables and a Nice bar with a sweet view and it's FREE

Absolutely beautiful place. I visited there on Tuesday. It was not crowed, very clean. I drove and stop by different parking lots and walked to the light house and had lunch there as well. I enjoyed my time there very much and would definitely bring my kids back. The beach were not crowed.

We were visiting from Missouri and are in awe of the beautiful view from the light house and the view of the area. I hope the locals enjoy the free beach and the free view!

The park shelter here is a wonderful place to rent for events. The view of the lake and the beach is amazing. There is a fireplace and a kitchen in the building. The facility has tables and chairs for your use. The rental fee is reasonable. You can back your vehicle to the door in inclement weather. It is great for parties, reunions, graduations, anniversaries, etc.

A large and lovely park on the Sheboygan waterfront. Lots of play equipment for the kids and a large sandy beach. There is a huge open grassy area and relatively clean public restrooms.

A nice pier walk takes you all the way out onto the lake. Care should be taken on windy days when waves are high; the danger cannot be understated.

Sandy beaches, marina, boat ramp, rest rooms, grassy fields, levy to walk on out to the lighthouse, multiple playgrounds, shade, ample benches, sufficient trash cans, tennis & pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, a mile+ long walkway along the shore, historical display, sailing club, picnic tables, picnic pavilion, and plenty of parking! They even allowed overnight RV parking. Clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Lovely! Sheboygan, you did this well!!! We will sing the praise of your quaint little town. Thank you for a lovely day.

Nice place to go! I like the atmosphere and the path to the lighthouse! The boardwalk by the docks are real nice too. I play a lot of Pokemon Go in this area.

Beautiful park right on the marina. Walk out to the lighthouse, easy walk and beautiful view. Ate lunch on a picnic table overlooking the marina.

Very nice! It's hard to find a nice, clean, sandy beach in Wisconsin but here is one of the few! Lake Michigan cold but also clean. Loved our day here. There are changing areas and trash cans, volleyball, and grassy areas as well. 🤟
