The Westin Milwaukee

Giving hotel a five as it truly is a nice place with great service. The only detractor is the bar/restaurant Stellas. Service is spotty. Bartenders at night are awful and inconsistent. I sat there last night and asked about a particular bourbon with the word Toast on it. The bartender said "I think it must be in the class of bourbons that have a flavor profile that is like toast but I don't know. You should Google it." she then ignored me until I just gave up and left. This is not the v first time I had such an experience. Just the first time I am mentioning it.
That said, I don't want the hotel to look bad because it's poorly managed lobby restaurant. Front desk staff are super friendly. Especially Dhimitriana.

Great hotel in a great location. Only parking is valet but all the lots in the area have issues with break-ins so valet garage parking isn't a bad thing. Desk agents are very nice and helpful, we had some issues on check in and they were resolved quickly and without problem. Hotel is dog friendly with no fees which is nice. The restaurant ( Stella van buren) was top notch. Great drinks, food was amazing and Andrea (bartender) was incredible. Rooms are what you'd expect from a Westin. Overall a great hotel in the downtown area. Also great restaurants in the area...check out the Milwaukee public market for sure

Everyone is nice, wish the lady who checked me in had told me what time breakfast started. But it’s all good. The place is well kept for the most part. It’s a few things I noticed that would prefer they’d take care of, but otherwise I’d keep coming back for work. I hope my mobile key works off top, after flying and airport things I’d prefer not to interact.

Anyway…. It’s in a prime area, close to a lot. The staff is nice, they speak in the hallways when they see you in the morning. I asked the front desk if there were any microwaves, and she offered to send one up for me. Rooms are big and spacious, beds are comfy. Could use firmer pillows or more, like I requested. But didn’t receive. lol

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms! The on-site restaurant is very good, but upscale and expensive. Unless you want to walk around downtown and a few blocks, there aren't any other dinner options without an uber or a drive.

Beautiful clean hotel in a great location. Easy walk to lots of great restaurants. Rishan was especially helpful - thanks for making our stay so memorable!

All staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help make this a great stay. I traveled with my 180+ pound mastiff who had some serious health issues over the winter. I brought him with instead of boarding him due to those issues. The staff went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. They provided us with extra bedding just for Odie along with waste pickup bags. Upon check in I filled out a form with Odie's information and mine. They allow pets to be left by themselves in the room if well behaved. When I left for a concert I notified the front desk. They asked if there was anything they could do if he barked or had any issues before calling me to come back. I told them he loves people and would hangout anywhere or just nap. I gave them permission to take him out of the room if need be. They didn't have to though. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and super supportive. The valet service was superb. They made sure my vehicle was there when needed, were prompt and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

Long overdue review, the staff at the Westin were FANTASTIC. I stayed here for my brother's wedding Sept 2022. Every interaction was positive. Q at the front desk, Michaela in the restaurant, and the 3-11 valet whose name starts with an M were standouts. Great location in the heart of downtown, quick drive to several area attractions. Rooms were clean! As a former hotel manager, I am picky, but I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Milwaukee.

I recently stayed at The Westin Milwaukee for a wedding and was thoroughly impressed.

The staff, especially Kavonn at the front desk, went above and beyond. It was surprising and refreshing to see him remember my name, room number, and preferences days after checking in.

The on-site restaurant, Stella Van Buren, served up perfectly cooked steaks and had a fantastic bar selection, especially their Single Malts and Bourbons. The bar staff were welcoming and really knew their stuff.

My only issue was the A/C in the rooms. It turns off after a 3-hour "hold" period, which was very inconvenient at night.

Despite that, I highly recommend The Westin Milwaukee for its attentive staff and great dining experience.

We attended a wedding in October 2023. I want this to be clear as possible. We WILL be coming back specifically because of Rishav at the front desk. The staff are all great, but Rishav just made everything better and took it up a notch. Even if it was a nice smile as we walked by or noticing my wife and I were a bit lost and asked if he could help in any way. He made us feel comfortable and at home.

We came here for Summerfest. The location was prefect, just an easy 4-5 block walk to the venue. The hotel was super clean and comfortable and we loved the overhead shower. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel as well (we'll have to try it next time).

I stayed at the Westin Milwaukee for some business meetings. Valet parking was easy... Very friendly valet parkers! The front desk personnel were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless clean... And we'll kept up. The view was nice from the 8th floor. I could actually see the lake is you zoomed in with the camera on your phone. I really like this hotel, but I would fix a few things...
The pillows were flat as a pancake. I had to use four pillows to make one.
No room service. Please add room service.
There was no soap in the liquid soap dispenser in the shower.
Other than those easily fixable items... I highly recommend the Westin Milwaukee.

Really conveniently located hotel with a really nice lobby area and a great bar. $40 valet parking is a little pricey.

Excellent bar and service including meals. The Top Shelf on the bar is nice!!

All of the staff was great including Kelly in the restaurant and the Indian guy at the front desk.

Every staff person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. It has a very nice midcentury lux vibe. The Rover package was nice. The bathroom shower needed attention but the person at the front desk was very attentive and apologetic when I let her know. The second queen bed is also rather close to the window. Couldn't help but open the curtains with my backside as I was getting into the bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Westin Milwaukee. Upon arrival, the staff were very accommodatingand friendly. I used The Westin app to chat with staff regarding more towels and change in check out. Extremely responsive and kind. I highly recommend The Westin Milwaukee. Great decor in the lobby, great location, and service from staff.

My wife and I stayed at the Westin Milwaukee for a one night getaway. We had the best experience. The valet was friendly and helpful. The checkin was smooth and the front desk young lady made us feel welcome and special. Our room was clean, well appointed and we enjoyed our southern view. We’ll definitely be back.

Got a corner room with city view and it was so nice! Front desk were very friendly, parked the car across the way though, $40 for overnight parking is kind of alot. Saved $20. Great location and lots of things in walking distance. I'd definitely come again
