We were directed here by a local fishing rod store owner to check out the custom baits. Super friendly and helpful here, also knowledgeable.

Elk River Rods recommended we stop by and check them out. They have some custum musky tackle. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great place for all our fishing and hunting supplies! In the 8 years we've been going there the customer service has always been excellent and the bait always fresh.

This is the best little bait shop in the whole of the Northwoods! They always have all the new gear in fishing. I especially appreciate the Ice fishing selection. The live bait is always on point as well. I love stopping in before a fishing trip and poking around for ice fishing tackle. I always find something cool. John is a great guy and he is always willing to help out with some useful tips and friendly advice. Being from out of town this is always a good thing, it saves me a trip to a “dead” lake or somewhere that might have sketchy conditions. I always recommend Ross’s to friends and family who might be traveling in and around Price County!

I have been going here since I was a kid. It always brings back great memories of going up north when we stop at Ross's. I was able to take my son in there finally and we purchased a lot of tackle and a bait cast fishing rod. The owner took the time to put line on it for him and to explain a few things about the bait cast. Excellent service.

You will never find a better bait shop, I've been going to Ross's for close to 10 years, service has always been excellent and has very welcoming atmosphere. Just today, John helped guide me to just the reels I was looking for. He has always been good to me and is a strong supporter of shopping LOCAL! If you're looking to get bait, find those lucky lures, or just wondering about local lakes, Ross' is a must stop! I 10 out of 10 recommend stopping in!

For a smaller bait shop I don't know that you can ask for anymore. Great selection of everything fishing with great prices. Highly recommend!

John Carlson guided me to my first muskie! Experience was amazing. Down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. The bait shop has an amazing assortment of muskie lures. I would recommend this shop and guide service to anyone heading to the Phillips Wisconsin area!!!

Small bait shop in a small town. The selection of live and artificial bait is more than adequate. The staff were happy to tell me what was biting, and what they were hitting. We were up over 4th of July, and it was hot. They had put out a cooler of ice cold water free for the taking and a thank you not for everyone celebrating at the Independence Day parade.

Owner John Carlson is a great business man and very helpful, great selection and good prices.
