I absolutely loved this indie bookstore! I have never, ever seen a bookstore exclusively dedicated to LGBTQ+ representation and materials before, it was so unique! However, I wouldn't recommend bringing your children in this bookstore. This is not in any way a bad thing, just a warning. I picked up a book that I've been looking for for a long time here, I was glad to have supported a small business and they had exactly what I was looking for! For all adults who love books and LGBT representation, I would most definitely recommend this bookstore! 10/10!

This is a nostalgic review. I'm so glad to see Outwards still here after many years. We used to come here regularly when I lived in Milwaukee to buy coffee, books, & rent genre videos. Next time I'm in town, I will make a point to visit.

Great little bookstore. Owner is really helpful and knowledge. They also sell coffee and tea there.
