Select Specialty Hospital - Milwaukee - St. Francis

Talk lifesavers, the therapy department literally got me from not being able to move, and actually wondering if I ever would to moving towards the goal that I’m confident will get me back to a high degree of normalcy. These professionals were not only professional they were kind they were caring, and they listened, in order to learn how to help me better. If any company could ever think of a better employee combination I can’t imagine it. Thank you so much to them and everyone involved. Great.

I spent 19 days here and the staff was very friendly and helpful since day one. Nurses were quick to respond and physical therapists were easy to work with. Food service was great and cleaning staff did a great job as well.

Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies were all good! Mary, my PT, was awesome! She always listened to me.My doctors were good. I would recommend Select hospital to others.

This hospital is a very good hospital. The doctors and nurses made me feel at home and they took good care of me. Awesome place and awesome people.

I have had to be placed here on two separate occasions, the first time was a long amazing experience and I was terribly sad when it came time to move on. Unfortunately my lungs were compromised and I had to return to select specialty. I have no problem coming at this time because I already knew most of the staff and loved them like family. I would normally name names and let other people know how much they mean to me, but that would take writing down every single name of all of the nursing and cna staff, including, a cleaning staff and cooking as well as all the respiratory therapist. You all mean so very much to me thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me.

I consider my wife and I blessed that we picked this place for her recovery. The folks that work here are truly amazing! It is very obvious that to them, this isn't simply a job. The care and compassion they show is evident with every interaction and every moment we spend there. A special set of angel's wings to nurses Cathy and Brad and RTs Jen, Lori Anne and Andi. But, also thank-you to all of the rest of the fantastic people for the wonderful encouragement and hand-holding through a very tough and trying time.

Great facility and a wonderful caring staff. and the food isn't half bad 🙂

Good food. The care I received was decent. I enjoyed my PT and OT.

This place is the best place I could've ever ended up at, not only did they give me the best care I ever had and could've received,the care and personal attention their nurses provided to me made all the difference in my recovery,the staff,housekeeping and food service was always top notch,I've been in many different hospitals and Select specialty hospital bu far is the best one I've ever been to, I wish I didn't have to leave, but because of the excellent care and attention they gave to me I am able to, and I'm very glad and grateful that they were the ones who made sure that happened, thank you all.

Amazing staff! All the disciplines work so well together to get their patients well quickly! Huge shout out to Mary and Victoria from therapy, loved your determination and encouragement. Also, nothing but love for Jen from Respiratory Therapy, your love and light-hearted disposition was so reassuring and calming during the most scary times. We will never forget any of you! This has been a very plesent experience with my mom. They really . know what they are doing. God sent.

The staff was wonderful with my care. There's a few people I want to mention that went above and beyond the call of duty: Carole and Lori (my physical and occupational therapists), Izzy (RN) -went far beyond the call of duty and was patient and nice, Joanne (RN), Dr. Nazir and Dr. Anne, Jen (RT) -she helped me feel comforted when I first got here, Pam (RN). Thanks to Jen (Case Manager) for tying everything together and being patient with us. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone in need of respiratory care.

I love the way I actually got to know the staff and be able to communicate with them. Communication is key. I'm glad I made the right decision and came to the right hospital. I love Select Specialty Hospital and all the staff. I will always come back to visit. 🥰🌹❤🙏🏿💞😁

Overall I had an excellent experience at Select. The service was great. Staff were friendly. I would recommend this hospital. There was always somebody there to help me with my cares.

I really like the way the nurses and cna's took care of my mom. We are so Blessed she was sent there from St. Luke's Hospital. She was very well tooken care of so I wanna thank the Lord first off then I wanna thank the doctors, nurses and cna's thank you so much for giving my mom another chance

My experience from arrival to current has mostly been positive. Things that were not positive were immediately addressed and taken care of. Dietary, Speech Therapy, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Nursing Staff, Respiratory and Doctors were all excellent. There is a friendly feeling, almost like home, that gave me a sense of comfort. I would recommend this hospital any day of the week.

We can’t say enough good! Everyone was kind and caring and attentive. My husband came in with a ventilator and trach. He is leaving without those things, plus, he is walking and swallowing and a host of other things. When your loved one is in a medically fragile state, it is hard to trust caregivers. It took us half a day to realize this team was good! We relaxed and that helped his recovery so much!

The staff has been wonderful with my husband and our family. Staff meaning nursing assistants,therapists nursing and even housekeepers. They go out of their way to answer all of our questions and concerns. The doctors have been fantastic and I wish we could have my husband stay here always.
