I am very pleased with my experience with Richmond Street Automotive. I brought my car to a different shop in the area the week before because my starter seemed to be failing. That shop ended up telling me it was just my battery. After replacing the battery my vehicle still had the same starting issues. I called to get my car looked at on Tuesday and by Wednesday I had a diagnosis by 930am( It was indeed a failing starter).
I get the impression these guys don't take short cuts, which is appreciated. The 2 year guarantee is impressive as well.
The inspection report put together is extremely thorough. The communication throughout the process was good. The pricing is competitive with most shops, The loaner vehicle really helped. Thanks again for getting my vehicle back in order.

Took me a while to find a family mechanic, im 55 living here for 25 years. I truly have found a lifetime auto mechanic partner for me and my family. Have $2000 vehicles up to $50000 vehicles. Sone tines I want to spend the min for 6 months, other times I want it fixed to factory new. Marks advice is conplete and welcomed.

I dropped my daughter's car off with a major oil leak on a Sunday and gave them no heads up. Just wtote on the envelope what was going on and left. They got back to me Momday morning with their assessment and a plan to fix it and had it back to me in a week and that's with having a hard time getting parts. Hopefully I won't need them often but they will get my buisness when it is needed.

Richmond always does good work and explains clearly what needs to be done (or not) and why. If they determine something can or should wait, they will tell you. From “hey we don’t actually think you need this” to “you can do this today or wait till your next oil change if that works better”. And if something is critical, they explain what it is and why it should be done. The goal is to keep you as a customer long term and not just maximize profit each individual visit. Highly recommend.

I brought my vehicle in for the first time to have a tech inspection and brake fluid flush performed. Booking my appointment online was easy and I appreciated the call prior to my appointment to confirm the services I wanted. Work was done in a timely fashion and I was notified via text when it was done; no need to contact the shop to see if my car was ready. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for work if you are in the area.

Went to Richmond Street Automotive on the strength of their reviews and was not disappointed. We needed our EVAP canister replaced, along with a regular service visit and were able to do both on the same day. Mark took the time to explain their process, the inspection review and service approval was simple informative, and the needed repair went quickly. We'll definitely be back!

We had an exhaust leak. They took our car for a drive to listen. They listened to us carefully, & found the leak quickly. They also showed us exactly what the problem was with a photo of the area & exactly where the leak was. They fixed it in a timely manner , were professional & kind. Very impressive!

I recently went through my starter going out.. so was thinking that..had my car towed to establishment.. I can’t tell you how amazed I was for the support I received..they went above and beyond! Came back to me saying it was the starter and was probably still under warranty at the last place I had it installed and encouraged me to to call and check out.. I was completely supported throughout my experience. 💯

My experience at Richmond Street was among the best auto repair experiences I've ever had. It was easy to book a dropoff date and time online. Mark's customer service was second to none when it came to communicating issues about the vehicle and strategizing a customized repair plan.

Further, the customer service platform included in-depth analysis notes by the techs, complete with videos and pictures outlining specific findings. I was able to review and either approve or deny specific repairs before the work began. I couldn't have imagined a better experience, truly.
