I usually don’t write reviews but I had a really good experience here! I have not had a haircut in awhile and was very nervous in finding a good barbershop in Milwaukee since I get my hair done back at my hometown. The front desk was very helpful and Kacey did a very good job making sure what I wanted and even offered advice in what she think would be best for my hair. I definitely would be going again if I need another haircut and recommend this place if you are looking for a good barbershop.

Great place to get a real haircut! I’m usually a sport clips guy but wanted to change up my look. Theri was extremely welcoming and spent a fair amount of time with me determining the best way to cut my hair. She paid attention to the details and did a fantastic job. They have a great waiting room and offer some complimentary beers or other beverages while you wait. The cost of the hair cut was significantly higher than I’m used to but it was worth it. I’ll certainly be back!

I have been going to Groom for years for haircuts. I have never had a bad one. They also have a great selection of hair products. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a luxury men's haircut in Milwaukee.

My experience was absolutely amazing. The staff was very caring making sure I was happy while I waited, they had complimentary drinks and a nice waiting area. My experience with my stylist was great too. He really knew what to do with my hair and I left feeling good. Definitely gonna go back.

Very impressed with this barbershop! Staff was very kind and professional! The quality of staff, products and facility was amazing! Mahala took the time to listen to me and worked with me throughout the haircut to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Mahala totally revamped my hair- I am finally in love with my hair again! I will definitely be going back to Groom again. Worth every penny!!!!

This place is great, and has quickly gained my loyalty over the past few years.

The staff genuinely seems as if they want to be there, and they are incredibly friendly and in tune with their clients.

I usually have a tough time getting a haircut I actually like, but both of the barbers/ettes that I visit (huge shout out to Josef & Lucy!) have been absolutely phenomenal, and keep me coming back.

This is a very good place to get a haircut. I used to get my haircuts from great clips but it wasn’t working so me and my family came here and it if very good. They take extra COVID precautions to keep you safe and I would highly recommend this place. Also it has complimentary drinks for when you are getting your haircut. It is the best haircut service I have ever had.

I have been going to Groom for Men for nearly five years. Even after moving 45 minutes away three years ago, I look forward to my monthly visit to Groom. I only have the utmost praise for the business. Groom consistently exceeds my expectations. The authenticity, candidness, and level of service from every employee simply cannot be matched (especially Ava).

My last visit was to Groom's Shorewood location on their first day functioning (5/26/2020) after the Safer at Home order ended. The comprehensive safety measures that Groom took made me feel exceptionally safe - waiting in the car until the station was sanitized, face masks and shields worn by every barber, face masks required and available for all clients, temperature screening and hand sanitizing upon entering the shop, etc.

If there’s anywhere in Milwaukee to go this is the place. I was lucky to get in the same day I called and needed up scheduling an appointment with Brittney. I told her what I wanted and she did even better than I expected. I’ve gotten cuts in Milwaukee before and nobody even comes close compared to this place. Brittney was very professional and very nice and I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if you get the chance. Every penny was worth it.

How can you top a great haircut, beard trim, scalp massage, and beers and some bourbon? You can't. Book it.

Went in for the first time today and was so happy with the service! Mahala was fantastic, the hot towel treatment and head massage were unbelievable! I'm more than satisfied with the haircut itself and will for sure return soon!

I appreciate the difficulty businesses are having with staffing this month. It makes it harder to shine but this haircutting business did shine, brightly. I wouldn't expect to have my best cut and service in the most difficult of times and yet the people running this place made it happen. Thanks so much!

A bit pricey, but well worth it. Brittney helped me find a new hairstyle, after having the same stale hairstyle for 20 years. I was nervous, and didn't know what I wanted. But, she walked me through some options, and ultimately gave me a spectacular haircut. Will definitely be back.

Melissa is awesome at her craft, she first asks questions never makes you feel rushed ..then starts cutting. I have never had any regrets going there. Great vibe at the shop.

All Gentlemen need to stop on by at either location. Superb service, check out all of the service's they offer, you will Not be disappointed, the knowledge of what they do is Stellar.

Ask for Crystal Ann if you want a straight razor shave that is out of this world. Or the perfect cut.

Had one of the best haircuts i've ever had from a very nice young lady by the name of Madison. She held a very intelligent conversation with me, and gave me the exact cut I was looking for. Then when she was all done and i looked at my new dew in amazement she tells me "I'm still training so its free" This girl is going places.

Groom is exactly what a Men's hair salon should be. I've had Carly as my stylist for 7 years. She is outstanding. Get a scalp massage prior to your cut.

I don't have a regular, but I keep going back and keep getting good cuts. It may be expensive for some folks, $35ish for a guys cut. But, I'll pay $50 while I still have enough to get cut. When I'm bald that money will be easily recouped.

I think they finally got a liquor license so they no longer have to sneak you beer in a coffee mug. Always a nice perk when waiting for your apt.
