Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown

This is easily one of the coolest Hilton Garden Inns that I’ve stayed at. The building is on the national register of historic buildings, and the visuals don’t disappoint. I thought the room’s layout was well designed and I found the room very clean and comfortable to live in.

I would highly recommend staying at this location if you’re visiting Milwaukee.

3rd time staying here in 4 months. I never wright reviews...but common. This is only place I like to stay at in Milwaukee. The staff is incredible from the GM, the restaurant staff, and valet.
The freaking place is not your cookie cutter Hilton Garden INN.
The rooms are clean, the food is good, and you are just a couple blocks away to restaurant options. What more could you ask for from a hotel?

Absolutely beautiful hotel! It’s an old bank built in 1886 with much of the original restored architecture. Our room was clean, spacious and beautiful and the hallway overlooked the gorgeous centre atrium.
Large shower with great water pressure, in room coffee, a comfortable and quiet sleep. Would absolutely stay here again.

What a great hotel!! Right next to historic 3rd and close to the river walk. Rooms were affordable and clean. Truly one of the most beautiful buildings I've stayed in.

The staff here is amazing!! I cannot say enough good things! Last night my mother, my friend, and I were walking to dinner and noticed that an inebriation man was following us. My mom suggested we duck into the Hilton Garden Inn to lose him and he quickly followed us inside the hotel. My friend went up to Wilhelm at the front desk and explained the situation, well Wilhelm was amazing and intercepted the drunk creep immediately, walked him away from us, talked to him, and walked him out of the building. The rest of the staff, Leah, Zach, Zoey, and Ariel, saw what was going on and invited us to sit at the bar for a few minutes to calm our nerves. They even served us a free round saying that they heard we were having a scary night. So absolutely wonderful! Wilhelm followed up with us to let us know that coast was clear so we could continue on to dinner. Everyone was so gracious, welcoming, and went out of their way to make a scary situation safer for us! Thank you all so very much.

From the very courteous valet to the Check-in was an excellent experience. Everybody is very nice and made. Our stay very comfortable

Great 1 night stay! Really enjoyed the architecture and kind staff. Our continental breakfast was wonderful too! Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, muffins, oatmeal, etc. Will definitely be back!

This hotel was a gem. Stayed for 2 nights during a busy summer in the city and was blown away by this hotel. The history, decor, and staff was all superb and I would highly recommend staying here. Close to everything within the city, has an on-site restaurant, the lake and the public market are all within a short walking distance. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I’ve stayed at other downtown Milwaukee hotels and this has become one of my favorites. Rich history that has been greatly preserved and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great location right in downtown. Short walk to several places to eat and enjoy. Clean room and comfortable bed. Bar and grill in the lobby area. The history of the place and architecture is as very cool.

This is such a beautiful hotel. Just checked in. Room is large and very clean. Front desk was delightful and knowledgeable about the building and it’s history as well. Very close to many downtown attractions. Can’t wait to go check out the city!

Original ceramic tiles throughout. Over 100 years old. The metal iron work and marble staircase are also original.

Great hotel and service. The valet parking attendants were amazing as well!

Love this place. It's within walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants and near the theater district. The building is a gorgeous, well restored old building. I'm the guy reading all of the signs explaining the history of the building. The rooms are not typical Hilton but still very nice. Breakfast was a little better than typical Hilton. Service at the front desk was above ... we had to modify a reservation I'd already made online hopefully without switching rooms after one night. Service at the bar was equally good. I used street parking but you have to plug the meter by 9am though. Rooms on the lake side (east) don't actually view the lake but have a better than the other side of the building

Absolutely beautiful hotel with excellent customer service from front desk to bartenders (Zoe). Highly recommend this super convenient location.

The bar has a Large t.v. that I watched the first packer game. Had a great meal at the bar. Fast service, congenial service, and beautiful historical building. Great for guests to our city!

This hotel was a great surprise. I expected a same as others typical experience but the Historical building, outstanding service, kind staff and really good food set this one apart from other mid-level accommodations. Will be back. Had a great time! And a very shirt walk to the Lincoln Museum!

We have stayed here several times, great location and wonderful rooms. The staff is friendly and the rooms are great. Can't go wrong with this pick.

This beautiful hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance of many popular spots in Milwaukee. My friends and I stayed there to celebrate my friend graduating with her masters. We came home from a night out to find a piece of cheesecake and a bottle of champagne waiting for us with a handwritten note.

We usually stay at the Milwaukee City Center location although it is not available this trip. Being a Hilton diamond member, I chose this location to book our rooms. I called ahead to be sure everything was intact as we had some packages being shipped in, everyone that answered is very helpful and cordial.

The building is part of Milwaukee’s history, olde world and nicely appointed and although older everything was very clean and the rooms were good size, especially given this properties age..

I want to get a big shout out to the general manager,, Kris and the great job he is doing. It’s not easy to run a Hotel property in today’s world given the staffing challenges, and extra stress it brings. Kris has done a great job with his team, keeping them informed and motivated and like I said, everyone was very helpful.

What was really notable was Kris himself, he is the epitome of best in class service and was everywhere. He would walk by and hear question, asked and stop to make sure you are well taken care of. He was there to field questions and retrieve packages for us, super helpful with a smile all the time. thank you so much for making our stay a very pleasant one.
