Malicki's Piggly Wiggly

I have lived out here for almost 2 years. I always stop here when I need to shop. I have got to say I have never been treated so wonderfully or enjoyed shopping somewhere as much as I do here. You guys have a great team of employees that I became close acquaintances with. They are awesome people with great personalities and always helpful. It’s like a family there! And I never thought I would say that about a grocery store but here I am! Thank you guys for being so friendly and welcoming to your customers!

Sadly the owners of the property won't come to an agreement with Ralph Malicki and he announced on Facebook that the store is closing 1 March 2024 as of this writing. This is our preferred store and the community is losing a great store.

He was very involved in the community. There was a weekly meeting for veterans tables/chairs/coffee/doughnuts. When many local small businesses has to close due to covid-19 he set up tables right in front of the doors with gift baskets & cards to help them, he asked the public during that time if they knew any local companies that made certain things to help them and give the public options. There's a lot of homes and apartments nearby and some are for older people and for them and many others it's walking distance or an easy bus ride.

It was the main drop off point for Santa in a Box, he helped the fire and police departments to raise money and food donations. He also hired elderly and disabled people to help keep the store stocked and easy to shop, he's also there and knows a lot of customers BY NAME. The list goes on.

People are livid about what's happening. It's not just losing a supermarket that he has owned for over a decade, but was there way before him.

There's no other store of any kind that's done as much as he has to help the community.

This store, the hardworking and 1 that I know of has been there 33 years (only 53) friendly employees, and Ralph Malicki will forever be missed.

Hopefully he comes back soon, but it's doubtful.

Not crowded and I found everything I wanted in stock. Convenient parking with plenty of lighting.

Nice clean smaller store with good prices. Because they don't have a million different brands of the same product everything they do have is always fresh and of high quality without a high cost. I enjoy that they have staff for check out your items, and plenty of staff around the store to help you. So many stores seem to be a total mess with no staff and only self checkouts with so many items they go bad. I've never had an issue like that here.

I only by my meat there. The prices are less than the big box stores and better quality.

Perfect sized grocery store with great selection

A little worn down but the staff always helps without question. I asked the deli if they had a certain salad and even though they didn’t he offered to order it on the next truck. Definitely away to make a customer come back!

I was very pleased with a custom birthday cake with an edible photo that I ordered. Stacy was very friendly and helpful. The cake looked great and was delicious.

I don't live on that side of town so I haven't really shopped here often. But today, a friend was in a hurry and sent me with a list to get for guests who were coming and I was in a hurry as we both had to go to the airport to pick up family who the dinner list was for. Since I don't know the layout of the store very well, I was asking employees where to find the things I needed. I had a question about the meat so when I saw the butcher, I asked him and told him I was in a hurry so I needed help knowing where to go. He didn't just tell me, he looked at my list and took me through the store and pretty much did the shopping for me to get me out fast. That was very much above his job description and yet he did that without question. When I went to check out, I had one of those car carts for my 6 year old. But I forgot how hard it is to be able to reach the contents of your cart with that long front end. The cashier in the lane next to mine didn't have customers and without hesitation helped me get the items out of my cart. Again, above and beyond her job description. So they would get 10 stars if they could, but they deserved the highest rating because every employee I ran into was helpful in some way. I will shop there when I am in the area again.

I have been going to this store for years and continue to go because they have great deals almost every week. Their meat selection is better than most other stores in the area, (for a grocery store). This is the only store I go to for deli meat because nobody can match their prices. The store is clean, the staff is great and my family is happy and well fed!

I love the "old school values". It's nice that they know your name when you come in. The manager is very hands on. Not always the biggest selection, but for our money quality over quantity. They best meat and dairy deals in town!

A grocery store with cbd products and pretty much everything you'd expect out of it. The deli is especially good. The fresh sandwiches and desserts are pretty great.

I like the size of the store. Not so big. It takes forever to get through the big stores.
I love their bakery and deli. Always fresh and flavored well. Also, they have a great cake decorator in Stacy!!

The staff here are always really nice! I come here a couple times a week sometimes and it's always a good experience.

If you haven't tried their fried chicken hot from the deli, you don't know what you're missing!!! Delicious and very reasonable! 😋😋😋

I love the Piggly Wiggly especially the bakery that has got to be some of the best bakery that I've ever had and I've had quite a few from different bakeries I love your meat it's always fresh and the prices are fantastic thank you for being in business

I love this store. Good products⁰. Good prices, and by far best of all, if you go to the deli on the right days, theres this absolutely SMOKIN hot chick named Bree or Bri or something. Shes in her 30's, tall, slammin body, and absolutely the most amazing rack i have ever seen. Shes really kool too. Like my guess is if she doesn't have a serious boyfriend, and you took her out for a few stiff drinks at a rowdy bar, she would be ALOT of fun. Youll know her when you see her. Shes known to dye her hair trippy colors - but she can rock that look. Im tellin you. At least go in and buy some head cheese or something n check her out.

It's just like most small town grocery stores. Friendly staff a smaller selection than the grocery giants but all the essentials at as good or better pricing. Especially their meat selection and pricing are exceptional.
