Every time I pick up my bike from South Shore Cycle repair shop, it rides like it did on day one. They are old school reasonable in price and timely in getting me back on the trail.
Very knowledgeable and a great selection of gear.

Outstanding! I only regret not finding these guys sooner. Steve took an ample amount of time to run through some new gear I am shopping for thoroughly and meticulously. I was there to get my son's Trek repaired which was completed within the hour. And there was plenty of customers in the shop...always a good sign. I will now be a patron of South Shore Cyclery from now on. Bonus FYI- they have an in house museum as many shops will try to do however they had bikes from the 1800's, a 1930 track bike, and an old Murray decked with Campy components..Thanks guys!!

This is the best bike shop in the area! They fix and tune-up quickly and expertly. I have been going here for 12 years and have never had a problem with something they fixed. The prices are reasonable. They are what a bike shop should be!

I've been a customer of South Shore Cyclery for 14 years. Always great service and still love the bike I bought from them. I average about 1600 miles a year on the bike and trust them for any maintenance needs.

I love biking and everything associated with it. I've written for my college classes papers about the history, uses and how we could decrease our environmental impact if we just biked most places. every chance I get I hop on mine and take joy from the feel of gliding. Which is why when I see a place that has literal museum of them I'm in heaven. From the very first ones to the ones with the coolest chrome designs from the 1950s they have it. They also fix and sell modern bicycles. But for me the real fun is seeing something I love and it's evolution. How can u appreciate the present if u never see it's past.

Friendly and knowledgeable service! We have purchased several bikes here over the years, and they have done some significant repairs and upgrades for us, too. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I Love this Shop!

I’ve been going here for about a year for supplies and cycling advice. Today, I stopped in and was helped by Josiah. He was able to tune my bike and make adjustments that other shops have failed to detect in the past. The folks here are super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Moreover, this level of customer service is truly priceless.

I will definitely be back here again soon!

Very friendly, very helpful staff. The little museum they got is a must see. Tons of bikes, lots of spare parts and accessories.

Gotta drop a review for my good people at SSC…amazing service, always happy to help with my questions no matter how dumb (and I have some very dumb questions). I had my bike since 2015 and bought it used cause I really needed to get stronger from my strokes. As goofy as this will read, I love this bike. Yea, I could have taken it to the Trek shop, but I didn't want to pay an arm & legg especially after reading the good reviews of this shop. I felt more then comfortable especially when the owner took the bike and looked at it like a skilled doctor checking out a new patient for the first time. The estimate for the needed work didn't shock or scare me and when it was completed the total cost even lower than the estimated cost. A beautiful shop with a great vibe, even for this green guy. Thanks, bike guy.

(The staff) Jake and Josiah are amazing, kind, and extremely helpful. They put extra time and effort into helping me. They helped me buy a bike at a great deal and ensured it was adjusted perfectly for me! I brought in my used mountain bike with bad brakes. They took care of the situation with expertise! :-). They could have charged me for a brake bleed, even though the bike did not require one! The experience was first class!!! Also you have to come and see there antique bike collection it's out of this world!

These guys know how to do it right the first time. I’ve been having issues with my bike for about two years, and mistakenly went to a larger bike shop on KK (you know the one)
That bike shop charged me twice the amount and didn’t actually fix it. I went to south shore cyclery and they fixed my bike in half the time and for half the price of the competitor.
If I could give them six stars, I would.

Had my bike in twice this summer for some repairs and all the guys who work here are the best. Super friendly and knowledgeable and had me back on the road in no time. Labor prices for repairs and installation are very reasonable. Also good accessory selection with a lot of range of prices. Was able to get a nice pair of gel gloves and some new pedals and didn't break the bank.

This is an awesome bike shop! You might be able to save a few dollars ordering a bike online, but you won't get the great support and service you get from South Shore Cyclery!

I started biking again for the first time in 28 years and they have been with me the whole way. They advised me on what type of bike would work best for my needs. They recommended helpful safety and comfort equipment. They stood behind their products and are still doing so months later!
