U-Haul Moving & Storage of Walker's Point

The current rating doesn't do this place justice. Recently had to access my long term storage U-Box and the employees here were a delight to work with. Would recommend.

The employee who took my trailer return was respectful, professional, and super quick! After a long trip I was pleased that it was so easy to return the equipment here.

The entire team at this location was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. A special thank you to LIz for her patience and professionalism. I would highly recommend U-Haul & Storage of Walkers Point.

This location is very convenient, located not far from both North and South Milwaukee. They never have long waits at the counter, and the staff is great at remembering faces and names. They have several entrances that make loading a breeze. I saw store manager goes out of his way to help customers. This team here appears more dedicated than other storage unit companies I have used. Highly recommend!

I've been to three U-Haul locations in the last few months and rented several U-Hauls. I rented two of them from the Walker's Point location and they were far more organized, knowledgeable, and efficient than the other two. To be fair, I only had issues with one of the other locations, but Walker's Point was still the best of the three. They provided good service. They had my trucks and appliance dollies ready and had a crew appropriately sized to handle the orders. I'd return to this location again.

The employees here were very helpful! They answered our questions about propane refills and the best types of locks to use for our long term storage! The associate ringing us up also noticed that one of the boxes we grabbed was missing the styrofoam pieces and successfully advised us to locate another one. It’s a small detail but one that we really appreciated!

Very professional. Above and beyond expectations. Very great customer service. Definitely was not expecting the courtesy. I recommend this place above all. Thank you.

I went to this location in between moving and was assisted with the most well mannered employee by the name of Daejah! She assisted me so quickly and efficiently. I would have to say this location gave me the BEST experience I have ever had while in between moving and I will definitely be using them again. This girl needs a RAISE! Thank you Uhaul for having people like this to represent this company! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Jermaine was an A+ office dude that got me in and out with my trailer quickly and I easily. Amir and David took the trailer off my truck and let me on my way without any hassle or waiting. My favorite U-Haul in the city Siri

Ordered a truck to pick up materials but the shipment/arrival of the materials was repeatedly delayed. So I had to first move back the pick-up of the truck and then had to eventually cancel it entirely.

I went in to the physical location twice and braced myself for static but... the workers at this location were SO NICE and helpful. Nothing was a problem and, honestly, their friendliness lingered and lifted my mood for at least four hours after our exchange. 😂 That... was unexpected and appreciated.

I had originally booked a Uhaul rental in Kenosha, WI. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled pickup, I was told my truck was actually at this location, which caused an inconvenience for me and the plan I had in place for my move. I called this location and was able to switch my pickup around to accommodate my need and was able to get the truck within the hour. The team at this location was incredibly helpful and really made what could have been a terrible experience as good as it could have been. They even comp'd us some extra miles due to the inconvenience. I appreciate the assistance this location provided to turn what could have been a frustration into a pleasant experience.

Update: They were just as wonderful to work with several months later regarding my U-Haul Trailer for moving and U-Haul Boxes for storage which were an awesome alternative to PODS for what I needed.

Original: They really helped me out when I screwed up and rented a 10’ truck without a ramp, got to the store and couldn’t load my new refrigerator. I was slightly annoyed that I told the original rep I was going to get a fridge and they didn’t alert me my truck didn’t have a ramp, but Manager was very nice and helped me upgrade to a bigger truck, prioritized me when I arrived to switch, and didn’t even charge me for the gas/mileage I used driving to the store and back with the first truck. Will be definitely be renting from this location in the future.

I rented a storage unit for a few months & trucks for moving at this location. All my encounters with staff have been nothing but pleasant. I love that the units are temperature controlled & that there’s prevention for rodent problems. Easy access to the units & the convenient use of the carts made it easy to move things. I would definitely come back here again if I need it.

This location is busy! The employees were professional and efficient, multitasking and helping customers as fast as they possibly could. The guy that helped us yesterday around 4pm was great. These guys are awesome!!

Moe is the best U-Haul employee in Wisconsin! Facts. Joey is a great GM & assembled an elite team. 5 star satisfaction.

I went in primed cos I read some of these other reviews...I don't know what was going on with these other customers, but no one tried to yell at or bully me. Matt K was friendly and super helpful and got us on our way. One of the best transactions I've had getting a moving van. No problems with the van either, everything was just fine.

Long time mover and a local leading helper for #Movinghelp... i deal with probably 30 locations from milwaukee to madison to chicago... its rare that i go to a place that doesnt make me angry on a regular basis. This is one of them... there are things beyond their control ALOT of the time and im certain the not so great reviews reflect those situations. This team is worthy of your time and business.

Rented a trailer here (helping a friend move). They were VERY kind and helpful.

I saw someone next to us arguing - and it looked bad. But, I also listened to that customer's tone and words, and it was really disrespectful. Like any business, if you approach the service people with respect, they'll return it. Maybe the other posters who have given this a low rating haven't learned that yet. :)
