Hi-Fi Cafe

This amazing hidden find in bay view is one of my favorite places with such interesting decor including local artists’ work! The food was delicious, your standard diner fare with tasty coffee options. I would say it’s not the most adventurous menu, but for the quality, service, and atmosphere, it’s a fantastic experience for anyone who loves art, vintage, and punk culture. And as someone who appreciates a good bathroom you’ve gotta check this one out!

I came from out of town for a local motorcycle show "Mama Tried". While out cruising the local neighborhoods, I stumbled upon Hi Fi Cafe. Super cool local spot, staff were very welcoming and informative. We also recieved a bunch of great recommendations for things to see while visiting. If you're in town, I highly suggest coming here for a cup of coffee and breakfast. Very cool environment, lots of amazing art and good food. When we come back to town, I will most definitely be returning!!

A huge variety of menu options that always taste good! Employees are friendly & sometime between the time I moved away a couple years ago they got A/C! I make a point to stop in when I'm in town & I'm always glad that I did!

This is not just a place for coffee and bakery, a quirky found art feel and retro styles fuse into a warm homey atmosphere. They offer a full menu including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, as well as meat, variety abounds at every level. Breakfast sammies, french toast, pancakes, and even a build your own omelette option and eggs Benedict! Great selection of lunch style sandwiches, salads, and quiches. An amazing range of espresso drinks, including the Raspberry Beret (my fave) and even Turkish style coffee. A long time neighborhood staple in Bayview, locally owned by an awesome lady that cares about the right things. Stop in and check them out, right across from Rushmore Records on south KK. Cool buttons for sale too.

Fantastic vibes. Feels like eating at home in the best way possible. Not elevated, not sloppy. Just nicely done normal stuff. Really nice environment to enjoy as well. You could get a full breakfast there, or just bliss out with a coffee and a book. Not easy to make Space that can do both. I had banana french toast, bacon, and chocolate milk and enjoyed all three. Worth noting they have actual maple syrup. Very easy to get to on MCTS 15 bus as well.

The folks running the show are so welcoming, kind, and patient. Got an espresso drink and loved it! So glad I live near this wonderful gem.

Great vibe. Excellent brunch options. Owner / staff is always incredibly kind and pleasant. I'd recommend this cafe to anyone because it absolutely has something for everyone.

As a celiac, I have had a lot of issues finding gluten free breakfast options. The gluten free pancake is so great that I could not believe it was gluten free!!! Very fluffy, and full of taste, it also doesn’t crumble apart like most gf options do. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would! Great service and great food (:

I can't believe I've lived in Bay View over a year and have never been here! The ambiance is super fun and welcoming. I had a Milky Way malt, and it was delicious.

Such a lovely place to study or meet with a friend. Mary and Pete are so welcoming! The decor is one of a kind, fun and funky. And the food is totally stellar! And the lattes are consistently on point. Highly recommend!! Support local!

I love the vintage decor of this place. This cafe is very loved and you can feel it just from the look. I ordered a breakfast bagel and a London Fog to drink and it was delicious. Love love this place, I plan to visit regularly. Great place to hang out and use Wifi too.

Retro & Eclectic, we had 4 in our group around noon, took one of the last "larger" tables for 3, pulled up an extra chair. The Georgie Boy sandwich was delicious, beyond my expectations. The coffee was good, service was awesome for what looked like only 2 employees working. Enjoyed our visit. The menu was way more extensive than I thought it would be. You can add CBD oil to anything on the menu for an additional $3.

Came to this little gem with my girlfriend on one of my days off. I truly enjoyed coming to this place. They have incredible drinks, alcohol and non alcoholic, and the prices are reasonable. I love the overall vibe and atmosphere of this place and see why my girlfriend loves it so much. I’ll definitely be back when visiting Milwaukee.

This is a beautiful cafe to come with friends or study! The owners and staff have been incredibly kind to every customer. This spot is a diamond in the Milwaukee area and everyone should come here! I got the pizza and it was delicious! I highly recommend the cranberry sports tea!! Amazing, simply Amazing!!!

Very good java and food. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is super cool. It was a great place to meet up with friends and I can see it being a great place to study, or just to get away and chill with a cup of coffee and a book. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Nice cozy little place. Friendly folks. Good local roaster organic fair trade coffee. A sandwich menu. Great music playlist. One of the he last remaining truly Bohemian cafe with a quaint and cozy and pleasing ambience that you'd ever likely find anywhere, and I mean anywhere in the USA.
