Home2 Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown

We had a wonderful stay over the holidays! Great room and service. Ana at the front desk and Ana in housekeeping were particularly good to our family…well done and thanks!

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and spend 12-15 nights a month in hotels while traveling for work. Home2Suites is my go-to hotel brand when booking as they are always consistent. So, when I saw the low rating that this hotel had, I was very apprehensive about staying there. After my second extended stay, I don't understand the low rating for this spot. It absolutely lives up the the high quality, consistent experience that Home2 is known for. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms I've had were exceptionally clean with housekeeping staff constantly cleaning, and the complimentary breakfast is the most comprehensive hotel breakfast out there in my opinion. The location is also excellent...walkable to the Third Ward with easy access to the free streetcar (the Hop). The biggest drawback is the parking which others have mentioned. If you can't find street parking, the closest parking is behind the hotel in a city ramp and it's expensive ($25 a night with in/out privileges). Having said that, my experiences have been nothing but positive here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone if you're in the Milwaukee area.

The previous reviews scared me a bit- but I'm glad we ignored them. We really had a good stay here. The location in regards to summer fest is perfect. The hotel is neat, clean, and new. The free breakfast was above average. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great stay. I was a little skeptical after reading recent reviews but we loved our stay. The room was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff was always friendly. Can’t be the price for the location.

Great location for our needs. Great staff. Ricky at the front desk was great. Stayed there 3/31/2022, he was helpful, answered questions and couldn't have been nicer to our kids. Hotel was clean, asked for and received extra towels and blankets. All in all, great value/location. We loved the pool table in the lobby for something to do during downtime. Also, didn't catch his name, but the gentleman who was cleaning up and updating the breakfast Friday morning, 4/1/2022 was super friendly and helpful.

Spacious rooms (not sure why someone said they were small?) great service, amazing location (walkable to all the downtown hot spots), quiet and clean. We had a great stay over summer fest weekend. Got in around 5pm and our studio room was ready upon arrival. The front staff is so kind and eager to help. They don’t have room service unless you request in advance. It wasn’t an issue for me but i know this might be for others. The studio room comes with a kitchenette (full size fridge, dish washer, sink, microwave, cups plate and silverware). I have no clue why this hotel has so many negative reviews. I did not have a single bad experience. The pictures i attached are from our second day stay so the bed isn’t as nicely made and a little messier than how we received it. Highly recommend this hotel for a quick stay.

We stayed at home2 for an early anniversary weekend and our first time in Milwaukee. Our room was massive and the staff was very nice and helpful. Our last morning there, a guest made some questionable choices in a public continental breakfast during a global pandemic and Jade and Cheryl handled it so well. We saw more than one guest that weekend be less then kind to Cheryl and she was very patient and didn’t let it show. When we came to Jade about the breakfast situation, she did what she could to manage the situation with an obviously nutty guest. They took a situation that could’ve put a damper on our stay and turned it around. We would absolutely stay here again and had a great time.

Not sure why this hotel has negative reviews. In my opinion it’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! I was visiting from Chicago this past weekend and the staff was quick to answer all of my questions and they were very kind! The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. I love that they include a refrigerator, a sink, and a microwave. The hotel is located in a quiet area and it’s walking distance to many bars and nice restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milwaukee. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you.

I will have to say it started off kind of rocky I originally booked my stay for tru hotel but wasn't provided a microwave and Alexis was great and came to the rescue and provided me with a room with a microwave I will recommend this hotel because of her she went above and beyond. So I would definitely be staying here again if I needed to go somewhere near this hotel.

Ricky is the absolute best!! From the time I checked in to the time of departure he took great care of me! Ricky gave the best suggestions on where to eat/go and how to navigate the local area. Ricky was very pleasant and professional and took great care of every ask that I had. After traveling literally all day to a place that's foreign to you it is VERY vital to have someone like Ricky that takes care of you/your stay expeditiously!

The next time I travel to the Milwaukee area I will definitely stay here again!!! Thank you ❤

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
We enjoyed our stay. There were a few glitches with some of the things in the room but they were taken care of immediately and efficiently, which we really appreciated!

It's a nice new clean hotel. Very walkable! Staff is very friendly. Couple of minor downsides I think have been mentioned. Breakfast is very sparse, but better than no breakfast at all.
Our other tv didn't work, but no biggie. Bathroom needs more hooks, lol.

Had a great stay @ Home 2 suites this past week! The room was very clean & spacious. The breakfast was great & all staff was very friendly & welcoming! Vanessa was extremely helpful & made my stay perfect! I will be back!!! thank you

Great location; we were able to park and walk and Uber to any location under $10. I will definitely stay again. We visited the Medical college of Wisconsin Match Day.

Great location, cleanly, hot breakfast, wonderful atmosphere. I had an issue with parking and Ricky at the front desk was extremely polite, friendly, and helped fix the problem. I will absolutely be staying again.

Aloha and Leslie went above and beyond. They treated us with respect. They made us feel at home! They made us always want to choose Hilton. 100 % recommend this hotel!

My stay was excellent from the moment I came in! Ricky assisted me at the front and couldn't not have been more helpful and knowledgeable if he tried. If there were more people like Ricky running hotels all my stays would be excellent.

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. This hotel is an easy walk to the Third Ward where there are some great shopping experiences, restaurants, and other events to participate in.

Anyone giving this less than five stars is a moron. This place is great. Huge, clean rooms. Everything one would expect from a hotel.
