Dr. Crowley and his staff are all around amazing!!! Our little guy has been going here for over a decade. The care he gets is compassionate and thorough. Now in his eldery years, we have had some emergency visits and we always leave with great medical treatment at a fair cost. Thank you to everyone at Community Veterinary!

I have been taking my cats here for years and they are the veterinarian that I recommend to anyone looking. The staff are kind and curious. The doctors are accessible and knowledgeable. I tend to use humor in difficult situations. When I was given the worst news about my cat’s liver and my immediate response was to look at my cat and say, “I told you that you needed to get your drinking under control.” I really caught Dr. Crowley off guard but he is a consummate professional and went right back to offering my cat the best care. I am also an absent minded person and the staff have found ways to accommodate my cats’ needs regardless. I’m not recommending that you should be absentminded like myself. Believe me, I put a reminder in my phone to schedule physicals. If I forget to do that, they mail you a reminder several months before they are due.

I wish I could pack this clinic up and bring it to Portland with me when I move. 11 out of 10, bring your animal here.

What an absolutely lovely vet. We take our cats here because we “followed” our vet, Dr. Michelle Flynn, from a prior vet clinic where she treated them. Not only was it a joy to be reunited with her - and she remembered us and our cats and their histories - but everyone on the staff seems so friendly, fun, and accommodating. We really like our prior vet too, but I’m so glad we switched to CVC. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my dog here for years and have always had a great experience. The staff is incredible, they are so kind. I was especially grateful for the staff when I had to go through euthanasia with my dog. They were all truly angels throughout the process.

Really cannot overstate what this place has meant to me and my dog. I've been coming here since i first rescued him in 2011. He has never felt anxious or apprehensive there. I think that speaks to how he's been treated. As my dog gets older, I'm in the clinic almost weekly. The staff are so kind and patient. All the vets are top notch as well. Thank you guys for making duke's time with you so easy.

From start to finish, every staff member at Community Vet is warm. This morning I had an appt. with Dr. Flynn and marveled at how kind, supportive and informative she was. Dr. Flynn shared options without pressure. The price was quite affordable for veterinary care! When Bay View friends are looking for a new vet clinic, I recommend Community. I love all the vets and the staff at Community Vet Clinic! They care for both of my rescue pugs and they receive excellent care. I feel I can always count on them to be there if they have a problem. That's wonderful given the vet shortages. They always go the extra mile.

I can’t thank the staff here enough for the kindness, and care they give my Baxter. He has a hard time being around people, so seeing the vet can be stressful. But the team here are so accommodating, patient, and sweet with him and make sure he gets the care he needs every time. I always know he’s in good hands. Thank you CVC team!

They work with you, friendly, and were not expensive. You must call before you go in, but you aren’t waiting outside for a long time. They bring you in right away. They also listen to you and your pet. My dog was scared but she warmed up to them quickly and was begging for pets by the end of the visit.

Dr. Ragoschke has been my vet for years, I followed her from her previous clinic because she’s wonderful. Great with cats! Dr. Flynn has recently become our dogs vet and unfortunately we had to have heartworm treatment done for him, and she was fantastic very caring. The vet techs are always caring and attentive, The front desk staff is always very professional.

We had our first visit yesterday with one of our three pets, and we were very pleased with the result. It was an initial visit for our older cat so there was a initial exam, then testing to see how he was doing with his medications.

I was very happy with how Dr. Meier worked with our cat and even happier with her suggested course of treatment, adding supplements that will work well alongside his current medication. She then called me later and we discussed the test results. She was very welcoming and was great to work with.

The front office staff was also welcoming and really friendly and great to work with. Finally when we had to pay at the end, we were actually very pleasantly surprised at how low the bill was compared to other vets we've worked with in the past.

All in all it was a great visit and we are very happy to have them as our new vets!

Update* I figured this review was years old and they've been seeing our pets most of that time (we had moved away for a bit) they have been excellent both for routine visits and serious issues that have gone up with our pets. We still value them highly and are thrilled to have them as our regular vets!

I loved the place! I saw it had very good reviews from current and past clients/ patient owners so I gave it a go. With our new 9 wk puppy i needed ALL the info needed to care for him. "Hulk" got his needed vaccines and was treated very good. Will continue to come. Thank You!

Dr. Steinke is very compassionate with my elderly cat. She (or the clinic) doesn't push you into buying extra services. She even makes followup calls to see how your animal is doing!

Dr. Crawley has seen our dog for over 10 years. Every time I bring our dog in, Dr. Crawley is thorough and kind. (Admittedly, I'm sometimes a paranoid dog owner.) He explains multiple options and is also upfront about cost of procedures. The desk staff is friendly and helpful, too. Highly recommend!
(Same day appointment policy = call right away at 8am, same day appointments are "first come, first serve" via phone call)

Very positive experiences with Drs. Crowley and Flynn. We especially like Dr. Crowley. There was a period of time when we weren't always happy with some staff, finding some impatient and with poor attitude. There were some staff changes. Recently, our experiences has been very good. Staff seems much more helpful and kind.

Responsive, caring, hard working people work here. The care they have for our animals is as if they were their own. Thank you!

Our dogs main vet is at Community Vet Clinic and we’ve been very happy with them. I like that you can get in the same day to be seen for an appointment. It does cost extra for a same day appointment, but worth the convenience if your pet needs to be seen right away. The staff is very kind and compassionate.
