Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Downtown

We had an amazing stay for a volleyball tournament Jan 13 & 14 2024...during a Blizzard. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in arranging rooms for our whole volleyball team 2 nights early, so that we could travel & beat the storm. In addition, our girls had space to gather and play games to keep them occupied for the extra time in the hotel. The breakfast was a nice touch as we were less willing to drive in the weather. The hotel is also located next to 3rd Avenue Market - which has numerous food vendors, bars, activities in one central location. Short walk to the Wisconsin Baird Center to the volleyball tournament really helped when it was below zero temperatures!

The rooms are fine. I think each one has it's own quirk. But what really shines here is the staff. I had an issue with my room in the evening and went to the front desk a bit irritated. The two ladies behind the desk did everything within their power to fix the issue and they did. But the best part is they see you as a person not a corporate desk person speaking to a customer. If I catch their names I'll update this cause they amongst the rest of the staff should be recognized.

This is a nice downtown hotel at a reasonable price and includes free breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the standard room amenities. The only thing they could have used was an alarm clock. The service was very good and took care of all our needs.

This was the best stay in a Marriott i have ever had. Jennifer at the front desk was absolutely awesome. After we left for our flight that was canceled, we pulled neck up to the hotel needing to stay another night and she welcomed us. We laughed and she made everything perfect. What a great experience from something that could have been very negative in our travels. If we are ever coming back to Milwaukee, that is where we are staying

Great front desk staff. Super friendly and helpful. Great location with a mall across the street and dozens of good restaurants nearby. If driving, plan your parking to know what public lot you want to use. The lot on 2nd worked great for me and was affordable. Easy to pull up out front, unload in to your room, then park your car. Same for the exit. Go get the car and park out front, then load it up and check out.

We stayed here over the weekend. Room was a little small and window overlooked roof next door. Kinda liked the smallness of the room once we got used to it. Great location a short distance from Deer District and Old 3rd street. Easily walkable for an old guy. It was near the theater district. Parking at a city parking garage was easy to use, close and only $20 @ night. Staff was as super. Breakfast was typical hotel fare.

This Fairfield Inn and Suites is extraordinary. Check in was awesome!! everyone was laughing, smiling just incredibly happy. They have a table with tons of snacks, hot cookies and popcorn. Breakfast was great and the room was very clean.

Perfect location for attending a concert at Fiserv. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We originally booked a single king room and needed to change to a double since we brought our niece along at the last minute. I had called ahead and had been told since I had a prepaid reservation; it could not be changed without losing my payment. We had packed an air mattress just in case but we also arrived early and asked upon check in if there was anything she could do for us. Not only was she able to change our room but she also honored my original rate and allowed us to check in early. The room was clean, comfortable and updated. The snacks in the lobby are a nice touch. The breakfast was a pretty standard hotel breakfast & decent.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Fairfield Inn in downtown Milwaukee. The location is great and a real deal for all of the access it provides to the city. The team was wonderful. They were friendly and outgoing - which was very impressive in so many ways. It was clear that the team members strive for excellence and work well as a team. I will definitely stay here again.

Our robotics group stayed here for a recent competition. We booked a whole block of rooms. The three women who were behind the desk at check in (Kanisha, Gwen and Stephanie) were a delight. They were helpful, fun and hilarious. The rooms were clean. Bria at the front desk and everyone we encountered was super helpful and friendly. The location is amazing. There's a hip food court with many different cuisines and games right across the street. Thank you so much for making our stay easy and memorable. Your staff are great!

me and my husband went to this hotel, and we met a lady in a Miss Shelia. She was such a wonderful person and a blessing. I can’t believe how nice the service was. The rooms were really nice housekeeper who is even nicer. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone. I thank you Miss Shelia you are the great greatness.

I want to give a shout out to Ora at the front desk who helped us with a recent visit to Milwaukee. We were supposed to stay at the Fairfield Inn before attending a concert at Fiserv Forum, but when I arrived with my two children to check in, we were informed the room wasn't available and we were given a "walking pass" to a different hotel down the street. Ora explained that the Fairfield would cover the cost of this other hotel, and gave me one of her personal parking stickers for the nearby garage so I wouldn't have to move my car.

Additionally, when a billing question arose a few weeks later (I was accidentally charged for the room at the Fairfield, even though we weren't supposed to be) Ora helped clear up the charge quickly and easily. She was kind, courteous and the ultimate professional. She provided great service at the hotel, even though we never ended up staying there.

My entire stay was great. Slight hiccup with my first night stay with a room that had insufficient heat but the General Manager rectified the situation. The entire desk staff, morning, afternoon and evening were amazing and very friendly. The continental breakfast provided was very good and plenty of options to choose from. The breakfast attendant was great as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay staff was very friendly. Front desk staff very friendly Housekeeping was excellent breakfast was great loved the waffles. The Attendant Diamond recommended great food restaurants nearby as well as kid friendly places. Definitely A recommendation for home away from home

Great location. Clean room. FRIENDLY staff. The room was small but we were only there to sleep, so that wasn't a big deal. We book through Priceline and it showed that there was a pool. No pool, but there were so many other things to do in the area that we didn't miss it. The kids loved the old U.S. Mail drops. Parking was very close and economical. Would stay there again!

Joyce (Front Desk Manager) and Gwen (Room Cleaning Manager) were both very nice and accommodating. When we first arrived we were assigned a room the size of a young child’s bedroom. When we went back down to ask if we could be switched to another room, Joyce did not hesitate and the next room she gave us was nice and spacious. The only 3 things we didn’t like was that all 4 of the pillows were soft instead of a mix of soft and firm and the breakfast was not good at all (fake sausage and fake cheese omelettes, boiled eggs, cold cereal, yogurt and bagels). There are other breakfast places within walking distance. Third, parking is $20 per day in the parking garage across the street. So keep that in mind. Maybe it would help if they could validate our parking voucher.

We didn’t go down to complain about those things because everyone had been so accommodating in all of the other areas.

Overall, Joyce and Gwen were awesome!! I hope management will give them great raises and promotions! Gwen gave suggestions on where to eat dinner and things to do. ❤

Stayed for AMKE, best deal in the area imo. Free breakfast, friendly staff, very clean room. Very quiet; no overhead or hallway noise at all in our 5th floor room. Beds were soft and comfy. Front desk was very accommodating when we requested a late checkout. Will stay here again next year!!

Great property. Located in the heart of down town Milwaukee with a lot to offer! So many great places within walking distance for drinks and food.

Property was great as well! Very clean and the staff was so friendly! Huge shout out to the front desk lady Tamara. She was so helpful and welcoming to myself and everyone she met.
I extended my stay because of her when I had the option to switch hotels. Between her and my experience here I decided to stay.

Small rooms, BUT the service made up for it. Great location right off 3rd Street. They even put out snacks for all guests to include bottled water, chips and cookies. I will stay here again when I come back to town.

The rooms were clean and spacious, the front desk was accommodating and polite, the free breakfast was large and delicious. The only complaint that I'd have is when I asked for my car to be brought up from valet parking, I was waiting 30 minutes and still didn't have my car. I was on a schedule and had to go to a volleyball tournament so I didn't have anymore time to wait so I said forget it. Their policy said to give them 10 minutes. Other than that, the actual stay was enjoyable.
